tominator89 Posted December 26, 2007 Report Posted December 26, 2007 Hooray! John Kerry will be thrilled!
MrRant Posted December 27, 2007 Report Posted December 27, 2007 Marvin must be thrilled. He can watch the same game in HD on 3 channels*! *Even though it's the same feed.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted December 27, 2007 Report Posted December 27, 2007 Marvin must be thrilled. He can watch the same game in HD on 3 channels*! *Even though it's the same feed. On Directv, NFL Network is MPEG4 which is has much better PQ than the NY NBCHD feed I get on Directv, but maybe not as good local OTA CBS. Edit: Rumor has it that NFL Network will be the only one carrying the game in HD, NBC and CBS get the Standard Def feed only. Just a rumor though..
Hogan Made Wrestling Posted December 27, 2007 Report Posted December 27, 2007 The NFL's press release should have included a photo of Goodell bent over with a huge dick labelled "Comcast" protruding from his anal cavity. Because that's pretty much what happened here.
Guest Smues Posted December 27, 2007 Report Posted December 27, 2007 Hilarious. I hate the Patriots so I had hoped the game stayed on NFL Network only, but whatever. Why is it on both NBC and CBS though? That's stupid.
cabbageboy Posted December 27, 2007 Report Posted December 27, 2007 Here are the final picks of the reg. season: Saturday Night Foregone Conclusion NE @ NYG: This is so disappointing. I was hoping for the Giants to need this game or want to go balls out, but it's not to be. Pats by 14, but I'm still thinking the Giants to take someone out. Sunday 1:00 SEA @ ATL: If the Seahawks can't win this one....well. Or are they resting people? Either way I'll take Seattle by 10. DET @ GB: Packers really can't afford a 2 game losing streak heading into the playoffs. Or maybe they could, but why not prevent it? GB by 7. SF @ CLE: The Browns will win this against the shockingly resurgent Niners. Cleveland by 6, but will it matter? JAC @ HOU: Jags have little to play for here and they always tend to lose one to Houston. Texans by 4 to finish .500. CAR @ TB: Tampa needs some sort of win heading into the playoffs and let's face it Carolina is pretty lame this year. Bucs by 8. BUF @ PHI: The Eagles just don't know when to give up the ghost. Philly by 11. NO @ CHI: Saints still have a slight playoff hope, but does anyone seriously think they will win this game? Bears by 10. CIN @ MIA: Miami got their one win and the Bengals of course need to do their usual to get to 7-9 and thus reduce their draft position like always. Sunday 4:00 DAL @ WAS: Redskins should win this regardless of what the Cowboys decide to do. No TO in this one and frankly I don't think Dallas is worth a crap without him. Skins by 10. KC @ NYJ: What a jobber matchup. I'll go with the Jets by 3, so they too can hurt their draft position. STL @ ARI: The Rams won't hurt their draft position though. Cardinals win by 13 and finish .500. SD @ OAK: SD is still playing for that #3 spot, so I think they try here. Chargers by 14. MIN @ DEN: Vikings basically blew their playoff chances and the Broncos will finish them off here. Denver by 4. PIT @ BAL: I don't think the Steelers could even rest people and lose here. Steelers by 10. Night game TEN @ IND: Let's face it, even if the Titans win are they really going to see the Colts again as a #6 seed? That would require beating the Patriots, and I certainly doubt the Colts would mind facing Tenn. in the AFC title game. Titans by 7.
JangoFett4Hire Posted December 27, 2007 Report Posted December 27, 2007 Marvin must be thrilled. He can watch the same game in HD on 3 channels*! *Even though it's the same feed. COUGHXOUGH- Week 17! In boston, the ABC affiliate was contracted to simulcast the NFLN's telecast, so it will be on 4 channels up here. I hope you all enjoy the game Saturday night, especially Smues, Mahhvin and of course Czech.
Guest Tzar Lysergic Posted December 29, 2007 Report Posted December 29, 2007 So Bob Sanders gets a five year contract extension. Good for him, because he won't hold up at this level for any longer than a few more seasons, tops. Guy hits people like a fuckin' psychopath, and he's small.
snuffbox Posted December 29, 2007 Report Posted December 29, 2007 Gosh, can we even handle the anticipation before tonight?
naiwf Posted December 30, 2007 Report Posted December 30, 2007 Brady to Moss ties both of their individual records at 49 & 22 TD respectively, and they also snapped the Vikings' record for points with 560. The Giants just took the lead back with a kick return TD though! Awesome game so far.
snuffbox Posted December 30, 2007 Report Posted December 30, 2007 Even though they haven't been playing for any records (Patriots wouldn't lie!) I hope they don't mind somehow ending up with them all.
mike546 Posted December 30, 2007 Report Posted December 30, 2007 Oh fucking great. There goes O'Hara. In a meaningles game. Ugh.
snuffbox Posted December 30, 2007 Report Posted December 30, 2007 Wow, trying to poke eyes out now. Stay classy, New England!
Golgo 13 Posted December 30, 2007 Report Posted December 30, 2007 C'mon, that was just intent to annoy!
Mike wanna be Posted December 30, 2007 Report Posted December 30, 2007 C'mon, that was just intent to annoy! Wilfork is missing the RAW tapings and was just showing his support for Flair.
Jaxxson Mayhem Posted December 30, 2007 Report Posted December 30, 2007 Touchdown! I hate that I have to root for the Giants, but I'll do what it takes for the pats to lose.
KingPK Posted December 30, 2007 Report Posted December 30, 2007 (edited) And that's a TD right back. They really need to get to the good QB impersonating Elisha tonight. EDIT: THERE'S the Eli we know. Edited December 30, 2007 by KingPK
Failed Bridge Posted December 30, 2007 Report Posted December 30, 2007 Moss made up for that little drop real quick
Bored Posted December 30, 2007 Report Posted December 30, 2007 God dammit I really didn't want Moss to break Rice's record, not that Rice doesn't have enough records.
KingPK Posted December 30, 2007 Report Posted December 30, 2007 (edited) I love that it looked like the exact same route as the dropped one. Brady got a lot more behind the second one. So was that penalty on the Giants? Way to inform us, ref. Edited December 30, 2007 by KingPK
The Robfather Posted December 30, 2007 Report Posted December 30, 2007 This is a hell of a football game.
KingPK Posted December 30, 2007 Report Posted December 30, 2007 Indeed, the NFL is coming out of this looking like fucking geniuses.
mike546 Posted December 30, 2007 Report Posted December 30, 2007 Wow these refs are RETARDED they gave Toomer a penalty because Brandon Meriweather tripped over the camera mans foot. unreal.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted December 30, 2007 Report Posted December 30, 2007 God dammit I really didn't want Moss to break Rice's record, not that Rice doesn't have enough records. Yeah, but like they said, Rice caught 22 in a 12 game season.
KingPK Posted December 30, 2007 Report Posted December 30, 2007 (edited) And....the Giants implode. EDIT: Kevin Faulk = fucking beast. Edited December 30, 2007 by KingPK
Jaxxson Mayhem Posted December 30, 2007 Report Posted December 30, 2007 I really hope collinsworth remembers to take the morning after pill tomorrow, cause the way he's riding brady, the world will end up with another illegitimate brady kid.
mike546 Posted December 30, 2007 Report Posted December 30, 2007 Coughlin is going to get killed in the papers if they lose this. go all out with the starters, lose THREE starters to injuries, AND lose. Fanfuckingtastic.
