RepoMan 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2008 In all honesty I feel motivated to buy a Playboy for the first time in a while. I'm embrassed to admit I was going to buy the Chyna issue out of couriousity (and I was a Chyna mark b/c she grew up in Rochester) but some dudes a SD! taping sitting in front of me let me look at it. Maria has this innocent air about her that makes it really hot that she's possing nude. I'd rather see her pose topless than to have some man ho rail her. I can only look at or watch lesbein or indvidual girl porn, another dude railing a girl ruins the fantasy of me railing her.

Jericholic82 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2008 so I went to the RAW house show last night in White Plains, NY. heres my review It was pretty crowded, again TONS of little kids (but these kids were loud and crass, using language I hardly use) I saw a group of 5 to 8 years olds yelling suck it to a bus driver as they crossed the street My seats were good I guess, 6th row ringside, but the chairs are small and the row are tightly packed there (Iguess theyre trying to squeeze as many people as possible) security again had no idea how to handle anything, so my seats were good (infact I was in the same area as wwe sign guy, who actually had people asking for autographs and pics of him) but hard to see when wrestlers entered cuz everyone would stand up, and of course SIGNS (I still dont see the point of signs at a houseshow honestly) anyhow Tony Chimmel (?) came out to announce the show for some odd reason. they did the national anthem and then he brought out William Regal, who welcomed us and said happy new year, and announced the nights big matches) 1. Brian Kendrick def Vladimir Kozlov with a crucifix roll up. Kozlov got huge heat by talking trash about america before the match (though it was hard to here cuz of the lousy sound system at the WCC), though the fans seemed not to know who he was.(makes sense as he was only on tv a year ago briefly) Kendrick was way over, and he even came out to his old theme. The crowd was loudly into him (then again lots of kids so the faces got huge heat). after a non-descript match brian shockingly got the win, and vlad was pissed. Ashley (isnt she smackdown?) came out to address the fans, I have no idea what she said, but she doe shave short hair now. 2. Atlas Debone(?) def Charlie Haas. Haas got a slight recgnition pop and he had on the old WGTT singlet. I dont know who Atlas is but he looks a bit like maven with carlitos hair. But he impressed me with some ring skills. In the end Atlas got the pin to my shock. After the match Ashley congratulated Atlas, hugged him,and walked to the back with him (maybe shes gonna manage him now?) 3. Royal Rumble Qualifier: Snitsky def Drew McIntyre after the pumphandle slam. For reasons beyond me, the crowd was kinda into Snitsky (despite the lask of him punting a doll into the crowd) as a face even though he still played heel along with Drew. I tried to get a "baby killer" and "its not your fault" chant going but no one seemed to remember. Kinda a long match for snitsky as opposed to his reg tv appearances. 4. Nick Nemeth, (lookng like Billy Gunn these days) Def Super Crazy by rope assisted pin. Super Crazy was way over as well. He did some of his fancy stuff but this was a mis-match of styles so it didnt help much. In the end crazys rollup got reversed and Nick held the ropes for the upset. 5. Beth Phoenix Def Maria after the fisherman buster to Retain the Womens Title. Match sucked of course, Beth looks huge in person. She manhandled poor Maria who only got in token jobber offense before getting caught in midair and powerslammed. Match lasted about 5 mins. After the match, Santino Marella came out (to my joy) and lambasted Maria for being a loser. He was interrupted by Trevor Murdoch who told Santino to calm down, hes his partner tonight cuz of the Cade injury and he wants revenge on Cody and Holly. this led to: 6.Hardcore Holly and Cody Rhodes def Santino Marella and Trevor Murdoch by Hollys Alabama slam on Santino, to retain the World Tag Team Titles. Good, fun tag match which crowd was way into (man this crowd should be at raw every week, where holly and cody are met with silence) Crowd loved Cody too. The heels isolated Holly and then Cody and beat them down for most of the match. Finally Cody got the hot tag to Holly and he cleaned house. After Heel miscommunication Holly hit the Alabama slam on Marella for the win Intermission time, I got a soda and took a leak and it was time for the second half. I couldnt get to my seat cuz people were taking pictures Jillian Hall was introd and came down to apparntly her new theme, sung by herself of course. She had a song for us and before the windows could shatter she was interrupted by Ultimo Dragons music, and out came Rickky Fing Steamboat. Sadly hardly anyone had a clue who he was. He shooed away Jillian and started talking about his role as a wwe agent and helping the younger guys. He introduced DH Smith and put him over. They were then interrupted by JBL, whos in his ring gear. He put down Dh and Ricky, and then even said he was better then DBS and any of the harts. Then he insulted the city by saying hes from NYC and this is just a wannabe Toilet bowl town. this led to: 7. JBL def DH SMith after a Clothesline from Hell. JBL wasnt in his normal ring shape, but he didnt look bad in the ring. Smith looked pretty good, though the smarks in the crowd gave him a nice steroids chant and i started a small wellness policy chant. One guy kept yelling out "wrestling god" Smith hit a sweet missle dropick for a nearfall, went for a powerslam I guess by JBL ducked and hit the Clothesline from hell for the win. After the Match JBL got on the mic again, and said you have just seen the rebirth of a wrestling god, and by the way, you're welcome 8. Triple H def Mr. Kennedy after the pedigree. Kennedy came out to a nice reaction. He motioned up for the mic and of course there was none in the small place, so Chimmel comicly handed him the mic like kennedy would reach for. Ken insulted Chimmel and then Sign Guy (saying youre ugly and you alway wear the same clothes). He did the intro, but stopped when the crowd played sing along, then finally finished it. HHH came out to an Unreal reaction. he did the full intro and even a dx pose with urging from the crowd. Match was pretty good, crowd was way into HHH and hated Kennedy. Kennedy kept stalling outside the ring. so they had a match and stuff. Towards the end, Kennedy missed the Kenton bomb and HHH USED THE KNEE for a two count. He went for the pedigree by kennedy squirmed out. William Regal ran out an dhopped on the apron, but hit Kennedy by mistake and right into the pedigree for the pin of course. (so he beat 2 guys by himself again real orginal right lol) After the match he did a hogan like thing by the doing the scott hall point to every side, whipping the crowd into a frenzy and out side won so he posed on the buckle. Then he got the mic and paid tribute to a local legend in Arnold Skaaland, pointing out his wife in the crowd for a nice applause. He then said "I can't think of anything else to say so youll have to play the music again" He posed some more got out the ring, and slapped hands with all the fans for a good 5 mins. Say what you will but the man's an entertainer and gives his all for the fans. finally after an eternity the main event is on Randy Orton def Jeff Hardy after an RKO to retain the WWE Title. Hardy got a loud pop. Orton got huge heel heat. Hardy attacked orton before he could enter the ring (following up on the Matt Hardy attack on RAW) Match was ok, kinda quick (bu then agian it wa sgetting late and all the stalling in the hhh segment ate up time). Orton of course headlocked Jeff more time then I could count. Jeff took control with his signature offense and a whisper in the wind got a 2 count. Did his corner jump thing, and appeared to hurt his hand so Randy took advantage. Jeff would go for a swanton, but orton bailed. Back in the ring, some chain wrestling, then Jeff went for a Twist of Fate, but Randy reversed it into a SWEET RKO for the pin. After the match Randy prepped to Punt Jeffs head off, but Hardy moved and hit the twist, then A Swanton to get his heat back and posed and stuff with the fans to end the show. If the match is an indicator of the future, the rumble match should be pretty good, given more time (and probably have the same finish to boot) anyhow all in all a fun time, though way too many jobber matches (in which the jobbers were winning oddly) Im sure the rumble will be a better show but I had better seats for this one. outside, a dude was handing out signs advertising a show March 22, at the Yonkers PAL the flyer advertised Sabu vs Sandman as the main event, and also adveritsing Kamala,Teddy Hart, Justin Credible and other . You know I have to check that out

The Niggardly King 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2008 If you got some good seats, house shows are really the best events to go to. You get to see many wrestlers try new things and there's more crowd interactions... the one I went to back around 05 or 06 was awesome as I had Undertaker hating me. I yelled out that he was old and needed to retire, while he came back with a "THAT'S NOT WHAT YO MAMMA WAS TELLING ME LAST NIGHT!" I also had Kennedy nearly get in my face over something

UZI Suicide 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2008 A lot of people are looking at Randy Orton as a locker-room hero. Basically, he's the one guy who will stand up to guys like Triple H & Shawn Michaels. For example, during the Iraq show, Umaga was getting new tights made, and the seamstress said he couldn't use certain colors because they were "Hunter's colors." Umaga insisted anyways. When Shawn Michaels saw the tights, he threw a fit (think about that for a second... a 40 year old man throwing a hissy fit over someone else's pants). Orton, then stood up for Umaga, in front of everyone. A lot of folks backstage really hate Hunter right now, feeling he'll be friendly to your face, but bury anyone who gets over, not named Cena. A lot of people lost respect for him because Booker T was well-liked, and they feel the reason he went to TNA was because of Triple H's burying of him at SummerSlam. It is said that Hunter is less-liked now, since coming back from injury, than ever before. His remarks about Chris Jericho's return didn't help matters. Of course, nobody is willing to stand up to him, because Hunter is untouchable. Orton, however, has the sense that he has enough power at this point that he CAN stand up to Hunter, and people backstage respect him for it. - WON

Mr. S£im Citrus 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2008 While I certainly wouldn't say that Maria is unattractive, I'm inclined to lean towards the "not that hot" crowd. My list doesn't match Carlito Brigante but, based on my own tastes in women, I've still got four Divas in WWE that I'd list as more attractive (to me) than Maria. tekcop 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2008 (By the way, that last post was supposed to be for last night. Somehow the page didn't load then, and when I came back to my computer tonight and hit refresh that happened.) I went to a house show the day after Christmas. They're so much better than TV tapings, and way better than that horrible piece of shit PPV I went to in September this year. We got Orton/Jericho, HHH/Umaga in a cage, and Jeff/Kennedy as the main matches with the cage match as the main. They let the audience "choose" the main event's gimmick through text messaging. The greatest part of the night was these two little kids that came out with Tony Chimmel and sat with him the whole show. After his entrance, Umaga started stalking all three of them around the ring while the ref tried to stop him. The look of pure fear on these kids' faces was wounderful. I figured they'd have HHH come out and get between them. That would make sense, right? Well, his music hit and he power-walked by the whole scene so he climb on top of the cage and pose. Of course, Umaga kept on chasing the little kids around and around the whole time. It was great.
Jingus 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2008 House shows can be great, action-filled shows with plenty of wrestling and lots of laid-back goofiness which the pressure of TV doesn't allow. They can also be boring shows with thoughtless "it doesn't matter" booking and lazy, halfassed performances. Really a matter of luck whether you get a good one or not. Why did the heels win in the majority of the matches? Seriously, count it up. Out of nine matches, five heels went over, compared to three babyfaces. Oh, and one total no-name jobber. WTF? King Kamala 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2008 Weirdest house show booking I've ever seen: Tatanka going over Mr. Kennedy cleanly, just two or so weeks before Kennedy fought Batista at GAB '06. If Kennedy by some chance ever wins the World title, I'll always fondly recall the time he got beat clean by a washed up Tatanka.
spman 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2008 I've had a lot of great house show experiences as well. At a show in Hartford in June 06, the first night DX reunited, Triple H came through the crowd after the match right in front of my friend and I and I got to shake his hand which was pretty cool. Another show we were at at Mohegan Sun in September 06 we had sets front row by the ramp, and we got th meet with Jimmy Yang, and Bobby Lashley grabbed me by my collar because I was wearing a Finlay shirt. Good times. Anywho, I have tickets for RAW monday, as well as Royal Rumble in 3 weeks, so here's hoping they're both good shows.
Jingus 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2008 Any time I think of house shows, I think of one spectacularly awful WCW show I went to in 2000. The main event was Flair vs. Nash, and despite how much I've always fucking hated Nash, I was happy about getting to see Flair wrestle live. Well, problem: this was right after Nash became the heel commissioner, so he makes a ruling before the match that the figure-four leglock was banned. The bell rings, and man this match sucks. Nash literally didn't take a single bump, and it was nothing but him slowly kicking Flair's ass for five minutes. Then Flair made a micro-comeback out of nowhere and put on the figure-four. So he was disqualified, and lost the match. Nash and Jeff Jarrett stomped on him for a minute, and then just walked off. SHOW OVER. I still can't believe the awesome condescension displayed by that company, killing the crowd with a main event like that. Then again, I also got to see Daffney live for the first time. So I guess it all evened out.
MillenniumMan831 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2008 Some of you people disappoint me so much. "It's just completely naked pictures of Maria, who cares." You're all gay. No you're likely just some 30 something virgin who's never seen a naked female in REAL LIFE. And also has to resort to magazines like playboy to fulfill your sexual desire. I haven't bought a playboy magazine since Torrie Wilson in 2003, and I was in Gr. 10 at the time. Oh sweet Moses . . . I feel, as the troops would say, old as dirt and I'm 25. tekcop 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2008 I went to a WCW house show in either '96 or '97. The main event was The Giant, Hall, & Nash vs. The Dungeon of Doom. All I really remember specially from that team was Bubba Rogers or whatever they called the Bossman back then from that team. They spat on each other a lot. I also remember Harlem Heat playing heel even though they were faces on TV. That confused the hell out of my little 10-11 year old brain.

cabbageboy 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2008 I went to a WCW house show in July 2000, which was right after Booker had won the belt and Russo did his bizarre "shoot" on Hogan. They made the amazing mistake of booking the 19,000 seat Freedom Hall instead of the 4,000 seat Broadbent Arena, or maybe 6,000 seat Louisville Gardens. I swear there were maybe 2,000 people in the building. My brother and I sat next to a crazy drunk redneck who used to be on the ring crew with the USWA, and this guy did nothing but shit on the entire show. Truth be told I don't remember the action on the show being all that bad, but it was going to that show that made me realize that WCW was seriously in danger of going under. Would you believe there were scalpers outside at that show? It's not like there was a shortage of seats, haha. The highlight of the night was before a Kidman/Douglas match, this being a feud over Torrie Wilson. Kidman: "Shane, you do realize when you kiss her that's my dick you're tasting?" Lt. Al Giardello 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2008 I remember my 1st house show in Sept. 1998... My mom originally bought me tickets, but I won a contest from the Calgary Sun and got front row tickets... It was pretty tight. I also met the Undertaker the day before the event, he was signing autographs at Sunridge Mall. The line-up was huge, but I manged to get there early and be one of the 1st people to get the autograph. The best thing about the house show though was when The Rock who was suppose to be a heel at the time, got a much bigger pop then HHH who was suppose to be a face.
