Hawkius Maximus 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2008 Seahawks are in trouble if they have to rely on the offense. There's a reason the two scores were created by the defense.

Hawkius Maximus 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2008 Imagine my confusion, coming back in the room after the end of the first quarter to see it ten seconds into the second quarter and the team that just scored having the ball again. Thankfully they mentioned "interception" and I made the connection.
Hawkius Maximus 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2008 ...God damn the offense is inept. Seattle deserves to lose this game for somehow botching a 14-0 lead this badly. Edit: ...Too bad the punter was sacrificed for that.
jimmy no nose 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2008 Atari Bigby probably just played the best 5 minutes he'll play his entire career. He was all over the place those 2 drives.
RonL21 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2008 That number 20 for the Packers is pretty good.. I bet if you look him up on Madden his overall is like 63 or something.... Like Tom Brady was like a 62 the year he took over for Bledsoe and led the Pats to the Super Bowl...
Slayer 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2008 Ceteris parabus, if I didn't hate the Packers, I'd prefer to see the NFC Title game at a wild snowy outdoor Lambeau than the sterile quasi-indoor Cowboy Stadium
Hawkius Maximus 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2008 ...That was a really great play by Farve.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted January 12, 2008 Good start, Green Bay. Now watch the gunslinger throw three picks trying to get his team back in it. Erm, yeah. 28-17. Seattle's first two scores were total flukes. I didn't say it, but it's fairly apparent coming into halftime now that the biggest threat to Green Bay in this game are themselves. I'll also have to admit how different I feel about this team compared to in previous playoff appearances. If we were down 14-0 before, I'd be really worried that they wouldn't be able to come back. But this is a way different team and I love how they didn't let the early 14-0 hole get them down.
Hawkius Maximus 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2008 Given how this game has went, I don't think Seattle can pull themselves back. They can't get to Farve, which is what Seattle loves to do. The offensive line just stops them COLD. The Seattle offense...is the Seattle offense. I really don't get why on the Seattle drive that resulted in the field goal, they suddenly abandoned the pass and ran two run plays that got them *NOTHING*. For most of this game, they've seemed almost hell-bent to get the run going, and it doesn't work. That was almost baffling to me after the first run play got them a yard or two, they immediately tried to run again and Alexander got smashed.
MFer 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2008 Hasselbeck blowing a gasket right now. Not sure why Holmgren was bitching at the refs (probably the same reason his QB is).

Red Baron 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2008 I hope they get rid of both Holmgren and Hasselback next year.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted January 12, 2008 Seattle's defense is just getting bitch-made. You buyin' Green Bay as a hard-nosed cold weather team now? And Hawk52, come the fuck on about the weather Seattle's been practicing in. It's silly to compare Pacific NW weather to freakin' Northern Wisconsin. It may be a slight bit chillier up there than it is here in Portland, but neither can be anywhere near as bad as Lambeau Field.
Guest Tzar Lysergic Report post Posted January 12, 2008 Let's not start sucking each others' dicks quite yet, If this game shows anything, it's that the tide can turn in an instant. There's ten and a half left in the third, for christ's sake.
Guest Tzar Lysergic Report post Posted January 12, 2008 Seattle's defense is just getting bitch-made. You buyin' Green Bay as a hard-nosed cold weather team now? It's not a hard-nosed cold kind of game. There's moderate snow and a muddy field, and the passing game isn't hampered by the elements on either side of the ball. Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted January 12, 2008 Refs really trying to make themselves the stars of this game, and I mean that for both sides.
Hawkius Maximus 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2008 When I made the comparison it was only lightly snowing. Now it's a storm. Big difference. When the game started, it was only 33 or so degrees...Not that much colder then it's been in the Seattle area all Winter. I know, because I live here. When it's snowed when you live less then a mile from the Pacific Ocean, it's pretty cold. The run plays are really starting to annoy me. They occasionally get a yard or two, but the way Seattle's been calling them you'd think it's been working WELL, and it's not.
Guest Tzar Lysergic Report post Posted January 12, 2008 That hurts them. They needed a TD bad, there.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted January 12, 2008 Check out the new camera angle we've got going on here because the press box cam is screwed up. It's like viewing the game from the sideline. Lambeau's turning completely white!

Hawkius Maximus 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2008 I could not have been more wrong about this game. I appologize to everyone for trying to make it seem like the Seahawks had a shot. This was clearly an error of judgement.
