This is a pretty long notice though. I can see doing a couple of jobs on TV and then leaving, but he's been jobbing out for about 2 months.

I don't know what the hell is going on with this Nash/Joe stuff. Didn't Nash just walk out on him during a PPV match? How is Nash now in position to calm him down?

"The audience: "O-D-B! O-D-B!!"

The booking committee: "Oh my god, someone's getting over... something must be done to stop this!"

My original point still stands. Her entire appearance on the PPV was a brief cameo in a dumbass backstage skit, and then on the next Impact she's still not in a match, and then finally two weeks later she beats one of the amateur pornstars. This despite having won the #1 Contender's Gauntlet thingie at the last TV before the PPV. Not exactly striking while the iron's hot.

Come to think of it, have any of the Gauntlet winners gotten their title shots? When's that gonna happen? Hell, when are the guys who won the briefcases gonna get THEIR title shots?! God this company's booking is fucking terrible.

You shoulda bolded that too. I guess that TNA needed to scoop the WWE's elderly heat with having a guy who's even older than Ric Flair wrestling on their show.

So for TNA

Abyss = Undertaker (almost)

Judas = Kane

James Mitchell = Paul Bearer.

So will BG James and Bullet Bob be a tag team in TNA that actually gets along, or are they going to end up getting R:TPTDGA-ified, especially since no one ever expects family members to turn on each other in wrestling?

Not to mention approximately 100x less over than Flair. I mean does anybody north of the Mason Dixon line give two shits about Bob Armstrong? And I'm not sure if there are more than a dozen people below it that care.

Although it was never explained, which is poor on their part I agree, the breifcases work in the same way as MiTB, as in they can cash in their cases when they want their title shot.

Should they really be doing rankings and #1 contender stuff when they already kinda have that with the MITB briefcase guys? I would think they should do that after those various guys cash in.

I have the terrible feeling that the Armstrongs angle is going to lead to Billy Gunn turning on Road Dog and we'll that as a feud.

First of all, ODB is a horrible wrestler with a horrible gimmick (opinion based solely off her TNA work).

Second, I thought Abyss' big secret was that he was inprison for shooting his dad, who was hospitalized. What the fuck?

I guess his father found out his mother cheated on him with James and shot her and then Abyss shot him...or is Abyss mom still alive?

I am so confused by that storyline that I no longer care, and I like everyone involved in the storyline!

Also, Christian ALREADY pins AJ? Wow, couldn't let something interesting build to a boil huh TNA. Dammit, I love the wrestling but the angles are pissing me off so much.

Abyss should be a destructive, remorseless monster. Period, end of discussion. Not too hard to book that.

Much like WWE ruined Kane, TNA has ruined Abyss.

The one argument I have against Abyss always being a ruthless monster is that a ruthless monster can only go so far. Cause eventually the monster heel will end up jobbing to the main babyface and then there's nothing you can do with him (see Umaga in WWE).

Turning Abyss face or adding things to his character will prolong his career in TNA....though I'm not sure if this particular storyline is the way to go, haha.

I see what you mean, and to an extent agree. I think it would have been entirely possible to turn Abyss face without this stupid backstory, though. Have him lose whatever big match, whether it be to Sting, Christian, Joe, whatever. Mitchell berates him, brings in a new monster to replace Abyss. Mitchell's new guy(s) repeatedly blindsides Abyss, thus giving him fan sympathy. Then he can feud with the new monster heel. He can still be the same character, but because of the revenge factor has crowd support.

So - does every episode now have a "title" at the beginning? This week was "Like a Fish Out of Water" or something akin to that, and I remember there being something at the start of last weeks show too..

Ok this is gay. Lethal is kicking Devine's ass, while Devine loosely clutches at the X Title... JUST FUCKING TAKE IT FROM HIM! This is the most lame excuse for a feud I've seen in a long time...

What in the bloody hell was that about Shark Boy? I mean...really?

I will admit that his family all being in Shark masks did make me chuckle, but come on now.

Oh TNA, you crazy bastard.

ODB has her first good match, well, ever

Balderdash. I wrestled a tag match once with ODB as my partner. Trust me, the action got much better every time I tagged out.

I was referring solely to her TNA work. That's all I've seen.

Stone Cold Shark Boy was so awesome.

Hardly ever post here any more, but I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed the main event. Christian and AJ Styles had great chemistry and did quite a bit despite not having all that much time. The fact that the main event ended in a clean pinfall off of a logical progression of moves in the ring was nice too.
