Epic Reine Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 Why did they ditch the Chili Peppers song as the WM theme?
Slickster Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 They didn't. They have multiple themes again, as they did in 2006 and 2007.
Exslade ZX Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 the fuck was she looking at? And with the way the storyline's been played...I don't think it's always been Maria's dream to do Playboy miss.
The Amazing Rando Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 Is Kelly Kelly cross eyed? Them titties ain't cross-eyed!!
Hawk 34 Posted February 20, 2008 Author Report Posted February 20, 2008 This is one of the things I like about ECW. They have regular complete jobbers like James Curtis.
The Truthiness Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 Miz and Morrison is really becoming a great team. I do miss the heel partners who hate each other aspect of that duo, though. Yeah I missed that too, but it almost got them fired.
Spaceman Spiff Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 This jobber looks like a Crash Holly/Brock Lesnar hybrid.
Slickster Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 James Curtis is the Barry Hardy of our generation.
The Truthiness Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 I like the way they timed Floyd's punches to Show with the music.
JHawk Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 This jobber looks like a Crash Holly/Brock Lesnar hybrid. I thought it was one of Curt Hennig's kids the first time he showed up on ECW. Similar facial features.
Thanks for the Fish Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 James Curtis plays a great old school Southern heel, he and Cassidy O'Reilly were actually a solid tag team in OVW.
Hawk 34 Posted February 20, 2008 Author Report Posted February 20, 2008 I'm getting the feeling we're looking at an unnecessary heel turn from Punk tonight. That WHOOing segment just put me in that state of expectation.
The Truthiness Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 They couldn't find a better concept for a MMA movie, than "Never Back Down"?
The Truthiness Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 I'm getting the feeling we're looking at an unnecessary heel turn from Punk tonight. That WHOOing segment just put me in that state of expectation. I had that feeling the minute he saved Flair at the beginning of the show.

That WHOOing segment just put me in that state of expectation. I wouldn't be against it really if it lead to the wrestlemania match. However with HBK likely getting that spot, Punk would likely job out to Flair next week or soon there after.
Hawk 34 Posted February 20, 2008 Author Report Posted February 20, 2008 I like the tribute to Flair from Punk on his wrist band.
Thanks for the Fish Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 They should have waited for Stevie's big return until they were in old ECW country. It would have made a difference in crowd reaction. It's like when the wwe tried to start the Funk/Foley/Dreamer angle in California... Heyman had Punk debut in ROH/ECW country and I think it made a helluva difference and really set the tone for his character being accepted as a star.
Mecha Mummy Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 Ahahaha oh man, the Burke/Flair role reversal spots were golden.
The Truthiness Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 I like the tribute to Flair from Punk on his wrist band. What does it say?
Hawk 34 Posted February 20, 2008 Author Report Posted February 20, 2008 I like the tribute to Flair from Punk on his wrist band. What does it say? WHOOOOOOO!
Downhome Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 Did Flair seriously not only nail his top rope spot, but also nail two guys at the same time doing so?

I would agree with that, but I think him out popping DX and The Hardy's at Survivor series really set the tone.
Hawk 34 Posted February 20, 2008 Author Report Posted February 20, 2008 I know he'll be on SD but no appearence nor a mention of Chavo Guerrero shouldn't happen.
Downhome Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 How in the world did they botch that corner spot?
The Truthiness Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 How in the world did they botch that corner spot? That was all Punk.
Hawk 34 Posted February 20, 2008 Author Report Posted February 20, 2008 No heel turn. Thank goodness and good match as well aside from that horrid corner botch.
Spaceman Spiff Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 I know he'll be on SD but no appearence nor a mention of Chavo Guerrero shouldn't happen. He was on my on-screen guide, does that count? In fact, all it said was "Featured: Chavo. (Pro Wrestling)".
