I'd say that Buckethead is a much better guitar player than Slash, but as far as songwriting is concerned I would go with Slash, hands down.

I didn't like Finck at first, but loved him when i saw him live in 2006. Many bootlegs only strengthened this love. i think i want to marry him and have ten thousand of his babies. Yeah Slash sucks compared to him in my eyes now.

Robin Finck is terrible. Absolutely terrible. I mean, really, there's nothing about him that is good. He's just flat out terrible. He fucked up solos left and right. The guy just isn't a good guitar player. In fact, he's terrible.

 

I can't believe anyone would have the audacity to compare him to Slash, especially someone who I assumed was a longtime GNR fan.
