Roxxi's character last name is LaVeaux.

Yeah but haven't they dropped it lately?

Yes they did.

Perhaps one of most bizzare random news items in a long time....from this week's Observer.....

"Lethal and Dutt have an idea of bringing in Iron Sheik, since they are big fans of Sheik, and using him as a rapper who would introduce Booker T."

Seriously, WTF?!! I'd have to see such madness first before I would completely dismiss it as the most off the wall idea I've heard a company considering doing, or being suggested to do by other workers.

I'd have to watch too. Maybe that's a rib to whoever reported it.

Not that Iron Sheik, morons.. THIS Iron Sheik

Aww that's a shame. The PROPER Iron Sheik would probably be a better rapper.

Yet another music celebrity being brought in, and it wasn't even TNA's idea.

Openly anti-Semitic Muslim rap?! What will they think of next. And considering that right there on his webpage he's got a bunch of Fuck Israel stuff, you'd hope TNA wouldn't take a chance with someone like that. Of course, this is the same bunch of morons who thought hiring Pacman Jones was a brilliant idea.

Yes we're morons for not knowing this piece of garbage. I'd rather see the original in concert, unless they paired this clown with Daivari and brought in Muhammad Hussan too.

I was being facetious with the "morons" comment. And, I am well aware of the obscureness of this particular Iron Sheik; my post was intented in a sarcastic tone. However, I do have some sani-wipes if you're having any trouble getting that sand out of your vagina.

Sounds like you're the one with "sand in your vagina" if you are making such a big deal out of it.

Unless this Iron Shiek has better songs, I am quite confident in saying that Lethal and Dutt have no taste in hip-hop.

I'm not sure who it was, but I am pretty sure that Dutt has a guests track on some indie hip hop album. If it was this Iron Sheik, maybe that is the connection and it is just a friend thing.

I'm sure that there will be a report slamming TNA for "not paying for her surgery".

So, I just bought a ticket for a TNA house show coming to Kenansville(about an hour away) in less than 3 weeks. I'm guessing they're not exactly selling that fast.

Like I said, it's less than 3 weeks away, and I managed to get a seat in section 100, Row A.

Yes, FRONT row.

I'm hyped.

Some releases that fell kind of under the radar lately has been.....

Rellik/Johnny Stamboli, asked for his release and was given it. I think he asked for his release because he wasn't getting booked at all (which may have something to do with them also not using Dustin Rhodes, who I believe is not even on a contract) and probably was having to compromise dates with his overseas stuff, possibly.

Jim Mitchell also is gone, which is kind of surprising but kind of plays into the Rellik & Dustin Rhodes thing (wasn't he managing them basically last time we saw them all?) in that they just never used him, especially after Mesias left. It's too bad because the guy is a hell of a great talker, but at this point there might not be anyone who could benefit by having him as their manager, other than maybe just putting him back with Abyss. But the Abyss v. Michell thing is just way played out, though.

(On a side note, I'm surprised they never went full out and paired him with Raven full time, that would have worked. And where the fuck has HE been?)

Third guy to be leaving soon is Scott D'amore, apparently to concentrate more on his restaurant business taking off and needing more time devoted to it. He's been primarily booking the Knockout division since it started, so it will be interesting to see what happens to that once he's left. IMO, that division has been booked and treated well WELL above my expectations for it, and really has been one the strongest parts consistently with TNA for months now. Kind of concerned it may take a turn for the worse if he's gone.

They released Raven a long time ago.

Damn, when did this happen......wow....

I figured he was still under some sort of contract but just wasnt ever being used.

He came back before Bound For Glory...and they didn't use him much. I'd guess he was let go around the new year or maybe a little after. I don't know if his contract just wasn't renewed or what...but it was clear that they didn't have anything for him. He sat home for a long time before they bothered to bring him in that last time.

Yeah, I remember some stuff he did with him around BFG time, and I think they even used him in the Monster's Ball match on that card, and did a really horrible looking dive off the first level of the arena onto someone on a table (Abyss?). Shit, now that I think of it, I think Mitchell even managed him there. Maybe. But yeah, the last stuff I saw from him was pretty bad.

Whatever the case, Raven just didn't have the desire in him anymore, so it's best he probably left. I noticed something about him being in some knock-off of Death Race, though. Shocked he hasn't showed up in ROH again.

Raven had a great promo when they brought him back about having laid back in the shadows and watched as the Joe's, Angle's and Sting's and Christian's beat each other up while he waited to make his move.

It was a seriously awesome promo where for a minute you kinda wanted to see Raven try another run near the top with that kind of storyline.

But when that didn't happen I don't think anyone was really that upset. Raven just doesn't belong at the top of a national company at this stage of his career.

I think he could be a hell of a manager since he's so good at talking and furthering the importance of things in his promos...

But they already HAD A great talker in Jim Mitchell...and they let him go too.

Agreed. Fuck, TNA has to be low on agents, producers, or whatever the company would call them, these days, with D-Lo Brown and D'amore leaving, as well as Jerry Lynn within the last year. Raven could be a GREAT asset to the backstage in teaching psychology to some of the guys, helping them lay out matches, etc, and Mitchell would be as equally strong in helping with promos with the guys as a sort of "promo agent" too.

TNA should think about scooping both of them up, to start, on an off camera basis, with, like you said, maybe down the road either one of them, or both, managing. They are going to have to address the loss of helpful hands in certain parts of the company with this stuff, sooner or later.

Yeah TNA...IMO has lost their focus since getting the 2 hour time slot which is why i was glad they got it but kind of skeptical about it. I mean while Curry Man and Sharkboy are entertaining to some it isnt the way to go to gain ratings. Lately it seems as though they realize that and are going towards more serious angles. With the lack of Sharkboy on TV and Machismo kind of leading away from his Macho Man gimmick hopefully TNA can past smackdown like they did ECW in ratings and continue to rise.

Ah that's what happen to Relik, I actually met him about a month ago real nice guy. Would go around and say hi to everyone and he really was real easy to walk up and talk to.

Raven's also been recently wrestling in Spain as well.

As I'm a big Raven mark, I'm sad that he left. I would loved another title hunt run. And a fued with Sting would have been great.

Oh, definitely. They called today and told me they'd send me my ShopTNA gifts to me via FedEX which should get here around Tuesday according the FedEX.

I'm bringing my camera so I'll be sure to upload the pictures somewhere and post a few here. Its going to be my first show at the AstroArena since Fall Brawl 93.
