luke-o Posted June 3, 2008 Report Posted June 3, 2008 From WO: Paul "Big Show" Wight underwent an MRI last night to determine the extent of facial damage near the left eye. The eye got badly swollen after Sunday's cane match.
Thanks for the Fish Posted June 3, 2008 Report Posted June 3, 2008 Does Nick Hogan go into General Pop. when he turns 18yo next month?
Matt Young Posted June 3, 2008 Report Posted June 3, 2008 No. He wasn't removed due to age. He was being threatened. 17 is treated the same as 18 in most jails.
Scroby Posted June 3, 2008 Report Posted June 3, 2008 Gangrel Q & A update: So we didn't get a chance to work on the questions last night, but we'll work on them soon. There's just been a lot going on with both me and him so we're trying to find time to work on the questions. So we'll get working on them as soon as we can.
Guest Posted June 4, 2008 Report Posted June 4, 2008 I abused mod powers and ruthlessly thrust moved the Nick Hogan posts to the thread in GC. http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?showtopic=90970 Let's try to keep it there
CheesalaIsGood Posted June 4, 2008 Report Posted June 4, 2008 Anyone else enter the Who Wants to be a Vinny Mac Millionaire sweepstakes? I can't wait to win it and then tell Vince about all the years I stole PPVs back in the day with my cable descrambler. THEN have him give me money. I'm sure he will respect me then... Ruthless Aggression and all.
Scroby Posted June 4, 2008 Report Posted June 4, 2008 yeah, i signed up. If anything Vince should at least give it to someone whose in the buisness.
milliondollarchamp Posted June 4, 2008 Report Posted June 4, 2008 Theres some rumours goin around that Beth Phoenix & Cody Rhodes are dating despite Beth being married.
OldSchoolWrestling Posted June 4, 2008 Report Posted June 4, 2008 For the Vinny Mac millions, I signed up and it said that you have to come back daily. Is that upping your odds?
Twisted Intestine Posted June 4, 2008 Report Posted June 4, 2008 who's reporting that? I wrote it on my Live Journal. Didn't expect it to really take off.
Lil' Bitch Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 Knowing Vince, he'll award the money...to himself. I haven't been watching WWE lately, why is Santino feuding with Piper?
MillenniumMan831 Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 They had a backstage altercation ending w/ Piper slapping Santino and it's gone from there.
Lil' Bitch Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 Oh okay, thanks. Piper's in amazing shape especially for his age.
cd213 Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 Oh okay, thanks. Piper's in amazing shape especially for his age. Hopefully he doesn't fail a wellness test.
Enigma Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 Amazing shape? I thought Piper was still pretty chubby.
Hawk 34 Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 Considering his age and the battle with cancer, he could be doing worse. In fact, he was the last time he was hanging around.
Mike wanna be Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 He's lost weight, but nobody knows whether that's "Yay Piper is healthy" or "Eww, cancer treatment weight loss, get well soon".
FroGG_NeaL Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 He didn't have a shirt on for the first time in years on Raw, and kept flexing his abs. His stomach's still large, it's just sorta cut now. Like a Scott Norton build or something.
Silence Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 He didn't have a shirt on for the first time in years on Raw, and kept flexing his abs. His stomach's still large, it's just sorta cut now. Like a Scott Norton build or something. Now I'm picturing Piper doing powerbombs.
Vampiro69 Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 Piper is going to form a tag team with Ice Train? Sweet.
Broward83 Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 Only if Teddy Long comes back to manage and gets people to call in and vote him for manager of the year.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted June 7, 2008 Report Posted June 7, 2008 I find it funny the last ring Floyd Mayweather was in was a wrestling ring now that he's retired.
Hawk 34 Posted June 7, 2008 Report Posted June 7, 2008 I find it funny the last ring Floyd Mayweather was in was a wrestling ring now that he's retired. Boxers retire like pro wrestlers.
cabbageboy Posted June 7, 2008 Report Posted June 7, 2008 Knowing that Mayweather just retired I wonder if WWE wants a do over on that WM booking against the Big Show. The main reason Mayweather went over is because he had to stay credible to fight De La Hoya later this year.
Hawk 34 Posted June 7, 2008 Report Posted June 7, 2008 Why? They didn't lose anything in the process. TBS wasn't hurt in the slightest bit. It's Mayweather that took a image hit for performing in the circus act that is pro wrestling and having to use multiple weapons in the process.
claydude14 Posted June 7, 2008 Report Posted June 7, 2008 Mayweather is just retiring for a bigger payday anyway.
JPopStarKami Posted June 8, 2008 Report Posted June 8, 2008 # WWE has announced that around 650,000 people have signed up for "McMahon's Million Dollar Mania" contest. They are saying this figure blew away expectations. As many have pointed out, that statement will end up being true based on the rating they pull this Monday. An official press release on this announcement is at http://biz.yahoo.com/.
Jericholic82 Posted June 8, 2008 Report Posted June 8, 2008 I got tix for the July 27th Smackdown house show in White Plains, NY The ticket says SD/ECW but I guess by then ECW will be taped at RAW so it must be SD. The local commercials have been advertising an Edge vs Batista match since before ONS so that kind of gave away the result of the ppv.
