foleyfanforever88 Posted June 21, 2008 Author Report Posted June 21, 2008 I was either going to take this or a Guitar Hero game at some point...just because I'm so bad at the guitar controller that I'd have time to master it. Which would kill some time. Well, that's pretty much my reasoning too. Guitar Hero III - Any console
Youth N Asia Posted June 21, 2008 Report Posted June 21, 2008 Tis me favorite fighting game ever Super Street Fighter II, SNES
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted June 21, 2008 Report Posted June 21, 2008 I wonder when Street Fighter The Movie The Game gets taken.
luke-o Posted June 21, 2008 Report Posted June 21, 2008 When Hell freezes over and Santa takes up residence there.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted June 21, 2008 Report Posted June 21, 2008 When Hell freezes over and Santa takes up residence there. Nah that happened when you took Phoenix Wright in the first round.
alfdogg Posted June 22, 2008 Report Posted June 22, 2008 Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest (SNES, 1995) This was a tough choice between this one and the third one. There are more secrets in the third one, but I went with this one because I like the stages better, and because I prefer Diddy's gameplay to Kiddy's. Kiddy is slow as fuck when compared to Diddy and Dixie.
Black Lushus Posted June 22, 2008 Report Posted June 22, 2008 2 was definitely the better of the series, good pick Alf. I was obssessed with finding all those damn DK coins with this game.
Aero Posted June 22, 2008 Report Posted June 22, 2008 In DKC2, I still have never beaten that level in the secret world where you play as just the animals. That one part as the parrot when you have to fly through the thorned area with the gusts of wind is ridiculously annoying. Granted, I haven't played it in 5+ years, so maybe it's easier than I remember.
Jer Posted June 22, 2008 Report Posted June 22, 2008 Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii, 2008) It's not my favorite fighter by any means, but I've enjoyed it and it'd be a perfect fighter to be stranded with. It's got a ridiculous amount of stuff to unlock, so that'd kill a bunch of time. And the island would be a great way to learn to play Smash competitively, which I've always wanted to do but just never had the time.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted June 22, 2008 Report Posted June 22, 2008 Grand Theft Auto IV ...the simple reason is that I want a GTA game on the island...and the other III, VC and San Andreas are gone.
luke-o Posted June 22, 2008 Report Posted June 22, 2008 Crandimanic's 12 hours have passed. My go. And I pick: Street Fighter Alpha 3 (Playstation/Dreamcast, 1998) With Super Street Fighter gone, I've picked my second favourite of the series. A massive roster to keep me busy, some really nice animation, a kick ass soundtrack and more than just an arcade mode to finish. Love it. Just to clarify, I'm picking the Dreamcast version.
BUTT Posted June 22, 2008 Report Posted June 22, 2008 I remember when I first rented this game. My brother asked me "why did you get a Mario game?" After seeing it in action, he then proceeded to play it all night. Such is the greatness of Super Mario RPG.
Black Lushus Posted June 22, 2008 Report Posted June 22, 2008 well, all the good wrestling console games are gone, so here we go: Wrestlefest-even if I'm all alone to play this game, I still love it enough to have it on the island with me.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted June 22, 2008 Report Posted June 22, 2008 You didn't like Wrestlemania 2000? Just curious.
Dr. Zoidberg Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 Fourth piiiiiiick: FIFA '07 This and EA Skate would be my main two games. LIVERPOOL!!
CanadianChris Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 The sequels were probably better, but I was always partial to the original: Mortal Kombat
jwest27 Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 Going back to the genesis for these picks... Shining Force II Sega Genesis 1993 I had to really fight my nostalgia to not pick the first one, since this one is the better overall game. Streets of Rage II Sega Genesis 1992 My favorite beat-em-up of all time. Despite beating it numerous times, it's still really fun. I could atomic drop sumbitches with Max pretty much all day.
CanadianChris Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 Come visit my island and destroy whole cities: Rampage I could play this for hours on end. It's a great stress reliever.
luke-o Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 The sequels were probably better, but I was always partial to the original: I actually think the 1st one is the best game. Streets of Rage II Sega Genesis 1992 Good pick.
Cran Da Maniac Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 Make up pick here Metal Gear Solid Could spend days and days playing this game and not get bored
Dr. Zoidberg Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 Gimme the on-line multiplayer, some chips, and some Pepsi, and I'm set for years.
Black Lushus Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 my 2nd favorite sandbox game...I just plain enjoyed this one a ton more than San Andreas: Saint's Row
BUTT Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 My second favorite MM game after 2. Well, I guess I do like 1 as much as X but this gets the edge because it's more fun to play.
luke-o Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 Super Smash Bros Melee (Gamecube, 2002) I missed out on Brawl, but oh well. Six years on and my friends and I still play this game to death. I can spend hours and hours playing it and never get tired of it. Great game.
Cran Da Maniac Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 WWE Day of Reckoning 2 Needed a wrestling game, and this is the closest that any game has gotten to No Mercy in years.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 Well...I've already grabbed big long involving games like KOTOR, Rock Band and GTA IV...so it's time to take the game that I probably wasted most of my childhood sitting under a tree playing (which is what I'd be forced to do on Bryan Island anyway) Tetris
