OK...didn't get a chance to watch the show, since it was pre-empted in my area due to a baseball game.

 

However, I did watch the Quick Cut of it on WWE.com. Wanted the opinion of people here...

 

The WWE Divas Championship belt...I didn't get THAT good a look at it in the quick cut, but I wasn't that impressed. My friend likes the look of it, saying it has a butterfly like motif.

Edge right now is so far above anyone else in WWE that it isn't even funny. The amusing aspect is that even if HHH wanted to bury the guy it would come across more like a bastard heel getting his just desserts, which serves to add more heat to Edge rather than bury him.

 

This was a pretty good show tonight, but I have to ponder something about Jeff's matches of late. It seems like he is wrestling the same "Macho Man circa 1995 in WCW" style match where he has a decent opening, then gets his ass kicked for 90% of it, then hits a couple moves and a finisher and wins.

MVP's facial expression when HHH talks about marrying one's way into power is the funniest thing I have seen on WWE this year.

Between that and him telling MVP that he might get a call from Dr. Cook and that that's 30 days because his wrestling attire is performance enhancing is too much. He's pandering to smart fans who mostly hate him anyways, and who he shits on in interviews off of the shows. So are we supposed to like him because he's EDGY AND COOL? HHH as a face is horrid.

I hope this doesn't come across as trying to start some TNA bashing because I do enjoy TNA also, but that last segment with the Vickie freakout was just that much more from the silence of the announce team. Just watching my DVR of Impact and Smackdown back to back, it was much more disturbing and I don't know if I should say powerful, but the silence of the announcers was that much more than if the announcers were shouting how she was "visually disturbed---tune in next week!"

 

Like others said, I enjoyed the HHH-MVP chemistry. If they turn HHH heel, maybe he can start a student-teacher thing with MVP even, although that segment pushed MVP as a tweener once again and is still hinting that he is going to be involved against La Familia should they stay together, IMO.
