She spent her 4th of July in the hospital. Overall a year and a half. I felt stuck from the beginning, but it was never bad enough (till just now) to call it off And it was just a random infection it seemed. it came back later but didn't need surgery the 2nd time around Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Not sure exactly how long it took me - it was about 5 or 6 when I split my head on a metal shelf, I went right from work to the hospital, and I didn't get out of there until, like, 11-12ish? At one point I pulled a roaming doc aside and said "All I need is a shot, can ya just come out here with the needle and stick me so I can go home already?", the bastard wouldn't do it. Sounds to me like that'd almost be harder then the actual stitching. I was trying to convey exasperation in my tone there when telling his dumb ass to sit still.
