Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted August 18, 2008 In fact, I'll go ahead and PM you the order in which I'd want minutes distributed, top to bottom. Should be pretty much in line with what I have there, but just making sure.

TheOriginalOrangeGoblin 0 Report post Posted August 19, 2008 Well, in the first round I just used write ups to distribute minutes simply because waiting for 15 people to send lists (especially when some didn't even know how this would work) would've been way too much hassle. TheOriginalOrangeGoblin 0 Report post Posted August 19, 2008 Quick note from looking at the boxscores: Gilmore and Malone are a scary duo and the best front court that got drafted.
AboveAverage484 0 Report post Posted August 19, 2008 Just an observation: Steviekick seems to be benefiting greatly from Erving and Gilmore's inflated ABA statistics.

CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted August 20, 2008 Are you serious? And I was just about to say about how interested I was in how the upcoming Wilt-Kareem matchup would pan out. None of those games were even close! Oh well, Wilt vs. Hakeem should be intriguing.
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin 0 Report post Posted August 20, 2008 Once again, if anyone wants any line-up/minute changes before the semi-finals, PM me. And on a personal note, I'm disappointed. I thought my defense and rebounding would beat MJ but guess not.
MFer 0 Report post Posted August 20, 2008 That was a lot easier than I expected it to be. I think I'll keep my lineup the same; the only change I was considering was giving Eaton more minutes than Okur for more rebounding and defense off the bench but Okur's playing his role surprisingly well. Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted August 20, 2008 Wow, I can't believe I just got swept by one of the weakest teams in the whole draft. Yikes. You'd think going up against Nowitzki alone would be enough for Gert's team to choke in the playoffs.

Brett Favre 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2008 I dunno why everyone is surprised about Gert's team. He has all defenders at the point and center position. Dirk is tough to guard with Hakeem out there, and Unseld is a great player off the bench. Not to mention Dwyane Wade.

MFer 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2008 I don't remember where I ranked Gert, but he sure took out my team. Of course any of the first 3 games could've easily gone my way, but I guess my team didn't have enough "clutchiness", even with MJ. Looking at the play-by-play, the score in Game 2 stayed at 85-83 for the last 2:19 of the game. What the hell?
Gert T 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2008 Thanks for the love. I think the Dirk pick was good for my team because he has always had to be the #1 guy in real life where on this team, he is probably a #2 or 3 option.

TheOriginalOrangeGoblin 0 Report post Posted August 22, 2008 Well, at least I lost to the eventual champion. Crazy, crazy run. Finishing 9-0 at home is pretty damn impressive. And Hakeem contained Chamberlain more or less while Payton abused Frazier defensively. The old saying is true, defense wins. Even online.
Just John 0 Report post Posted August 22, 2008 I like the results. I always thought Olajuwan (even for all the credit he gets) was underrated as an all-time great center. The only thing that holds him back is he played in era where 7-footers or near 7-footers were more prevalant, so he couldn't rack up some of the impressive individual totals of Chamberlain or Russell (not to diminish anything those two accomplished mind you).
