I think I'll keep my lineup the same; the only change I was considering was giving Eaton more minutes than Okur for more rebounding and defense off the bench but Okur's playing his role surprisingly well.

Brett Favre Posted August 21, 2008 Report Posted August 21, 2008 I dunno why everyone is surprised about Gert's team. He has all defenders at the point and center position. Dirk is tough to guard with Hakeem out there, and Unseld is a great player off the bench. Not to mention Dwyane Wade.

Of course any of the first 3 games could've easily gone my way, but I guess my team didn't have enough "clutchiness", even with MJ. Looking at the play-by-play, the score in Game 2 stayed at 85-83 for the last 2:19 of the game. What the hell?

And Hakeem contained Chamberlain more or less while Payton abused Frazier defensively. The old saying is true, defense wins. Even online.
Just John Posted August 22, 2008 Report Posted August 22, 2008 I like the results. I always thought Olajuwan (even for all the credit he gets) was underrated as an all-time great center. The only thing that holds him back is he played in era where 7-footers or near 7-footers were more prevalant, so he couldn't rack up some of the impressive individual totals of Chamberlain or Russell (not to diminish anything those two accomplished mind you).
