DCH 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2008 I wasn't sure if this deserved it's own thread or not, but I decided that any wrestler doing anything outside of WWE might want its own thread. 909 can merge this if he wishes to. From Inside WWE: John Cena to host Kid's Choice Awards in Australia So yeah, he hosting it for Australia, which is pretty freaky, although I guess it makes sense as quite a few of the Nickelodeon viewers here like my nephew also watch Raw and SD. Athough I kinda record it for him weekly and edit out the women's wrestling and other non-kiddie friendly sutff otherwise my sister will kill me. So yeah, discuss. cd213 0 Report post Posted August 13, 2008 DCH, a quick question, why would you edit out the Women's matches. Mind you they might not be great, but why would you edit it out? What's so kid unfriendly about it?
The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted August 13, 2008 Hopefully they write him some good poop jokes. His poop material is stale.

Guest Report post Posted August 13, 2008 DCH, a quick question, why would you edit out the Women's matches. Mind you they might not be great, but why would you edit it out? What's so kid unfriendly about it? Serious question? I don't let my cousins watch the women's matches either. It's kinda obvious, ain't it? Depends on the age though. Enigma 0 Report post Posted August 13, 2008 No, it's not very obvious. What is exactly is wrong? It can't be the outfits, because all the girls wear pants now.
The Metal Maniac 0 Report post Posted August 13, 2008 I'd imagine it has more to do with the sexual innuendo that goes on during said matches - you know, Jerry Lawler over there making a bunch of sex jokes or whatever.
Mike wanna be 0 Report post Posted August 13, 2008 Don't forget the obligatory "Faceful of girl crotch" spot in every match.
DCH 0 Report post Posted August 13, 2008 I guess it's because my sister finds it disgusting and doesn't want her son to see all the bitchy hair pulling and also the sex jokes by Lawler are quite inappropriate for a 7 year old in her opinion. So I watch it and record at the same time, edit out everything she tells me not to let him see and give him the DVD to watch. He's not aware women's wrestling exists. He only knows like Lillian Garcia being the ring announcer. I doub there's gonna be poop jokes, but seeing as I have to watch it anyways, I could tell you how it goes. 2GOLD 0 Report post Posted August 13, 2008 I thought it had everything to do with not wanting young kids exposed to really bad womens wrestling? John Cena getting slimed will be replayed on RAW like 10 times.

HollywoodSpikeJenkins 0 Report post Posted August 13, 2008 My 17 year old sister isn't really a wrestling fan, but she watches Raw with me because she loves John Cena and the womens division. So naturally, I made her watch SHIMMER. Now she knows about work-rate!

Maybe back when they did T-n-A matches, but they haven't done those in a while.
