The Ultimate Fighter: Noguiera vs Mir

Recommended Posts

Hopefully this gets J-Mac out of the UFC. Hes never gonna amount to anything more than a gatekeeper, and hes not so good at that either.

It sucks, as he's still capable to beating of beating solid fighters and is generally entertainig, but the dude simply cannot strike a lick.

Rewinding and rewatching the DVR:

- Browning looked much better than he did later on the show, but Kaplan is fucking balls, so Junie's really no further along in my mind than we he beat Jose Napolean Hitler.

- Fuck ATT guys and their inability to make weight. I can't wait until Gouveia gets fucking exposed again.

- Jules Bruchez is seriously in Wayne Weems territory in terms of terrible TUF vets.

- Sick KO for Johnson, though the hype he's getting is going to be counterproductive if he gets matched up tougher before his skill set catches up with his physical gifts.

HAHAHAHAH! I've been telling you all for a while: Vinny cannot take it nearly as well as he can dish it out. Impressive display of Lay & Pray by Bader.

Fuck the haters.

Primm desperately needs to drop to MW.

EDIT: Soszynski has the most disproportionate ratio of hype to actual skill of the UFC's IFL converts. Dude was 4-4 in what was essentially a AAA level promotion. I blame it on him being simultaneously from Poland, Canada and Team Quest.

That's crazy even that glancing punch like that could still put him on his ass.

It wasn't just a glancing shot... It landed at the back of the head, that will knock anyone out. Bader obivously packs a punch.

I think this was more due to styles than any sort of major improvement on Efrains end.

I disagree. Efrain's hands were much improved, he finally managed to utilize his wrestling experience, and was overall much more aggressive than he was during his stay in the house.

I actually have a feeling that people will find a way to discredit him for his win, despite the fact that he beat a tough preliminary opponent and then the best other LW's of the season.

God damn, Nover during the first two rounds felt like playing the PRIDE FC game while drunk...

But not taking away anything from Efrain... I just preferred the flip when it comes to the race wars at lightweight.

Seriously, if Efrain can show that type of aggression while continuing to get better at his stand-up... dude's going to be fucking scary.
