Maybe. I think he might be better served moving to tight end when he gos pro, but I doubt it'll happen. He's definitely progressed as a passer since the beginning of last year, but...seriously, Vince Young led the NCAA in passer efficiency in his last year at Texas. College and NFL are different beasts. Tebow is sort of like a less athletic Vince Young with a MUCH better head on his shoulders.

 

Porter is correct when he says that offenses like Urban Meyer's spread don't equate to good pro-quarterbacks, too gimmicky. Which works, and is splendid in the college ranks, but the skill set that makes them work won't work against the stronger, faster, smarter NFL defense.

 

I could see Tebow working in a West Coast offense though with quick hitting slants, but I think he'll be a decent journeyman at best.
