Weekend Box Office Report

Recommended Posts

Wow, let's have a look at what the Full House stars have been up to (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong)

Danny - One of the most foul-mouthed stand-ups of all time, but a heck of a nice guy. Has one of the best versions of the Aristocrats joke

Joey - Did Surreal Life, some cartoon voices, and not much else

Jessie - Famous for being Rebecca Romijn's Ex, landed a role on ER which is about to be canceled

Rebecca - Still hot, and has been on a crap load of TV shows and movies

DJ - Supposed "hell fire and brimstone" christian, looks like she's been doing a lot of Lifetime movies

Michelle - One of the twins supposedly killed Heath Ledger, the other one who knows

Stephanie - Hot as all hell, used to host a dance show

Nicky and Alex - jack shit

My favorite guest star on the show is still Miko Hughes. He was always great playing the role of "smart ass little kid"

I'm really looking forward to Saw V. Has anyone heard any plot details?

I thought Saw 2 was the best one, but I didn't like 3 and 4 was even worse.

To extend the Full House cast slightly, Kimmy Gibbler is more or less retired. The guy that played Steve graduated from Harvard and is now a writer. Not too shabby.

Actually I always found Stephanie to be the heart of the show. I believe she was originally more of the focus before people kind of got distracted by the Olsen twins. Always liked her. We're almost the same age, and we're both former meth addicts.

Stephanie has always been my favourite character, and I really hated how she got pushed to the background in favour of Michelle. Who was terrible.

She recently had a kid and was on the cover of People

Yeah I just remembered Christmas Eve after I made that post. Though I have my friend has a yearly tradition of going to the movies on Christmas Eve. I went to the movies on Christmas Eve afternoon once to see the odd Johnny Knoxville misfire The Ringer and ten minutes before the end, they had to evacuate the theaters because there was a gas leak. We got a refund for that plus like twenty dollars of gift certificates...on the downside I never did see the ending for The Ringer!

I wasn't going to predict something that bullish, but I read an item in EW that the movie is tracking really, and it could be another wait, seriously that made money family hit, like Alvin and the Chipmunks.

I'll be pretty surprised if BHC makes less than $30 million. Happy, but surprised.

Appaloosa looks really good but the reviews thus far haven't been all that amazing. I have a feeling that might be one where Renee Zellweger hampers it. It looks basically like Open Range with Harris and Mortensen in the Duvall/Costner roles, with Jeremy Irons in the Michael Gambon role. Not a bad thing, but the two seem similar.

I think she was on Bill Nye the Science Guy, and she's married to Pavel Bure's brother.
