Lord of The Curry Posted December 23, 2008 Report Posted December 23, 2008 Oh man I need to find a solid job soon. MTL in April 4 reals.
Youth N Asia Posted December 24, 2008 Report Posted December 24, 2008 Anderson Silva Vs. Thales Leites in MTL in April??? http://mmajunkie.com/news/13547/anderson-s...in-montreal.mma *creams his pants*, we gonna party it up LOTC. That fight doesn't make me want to buy a ppv
Lord of The Curry Posted December 24, 2008 Report Posted December 24, 2008 "Who gives a fuck?"- All of Montreal
Lord of The Curry Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 UFC 97- Bell Centre, Montreal Anderson Silva vs Thales Leites Brock Lesnar vs Frank Murrr II David Loiseau vs Ed Herman
Lt. Al Giardello Posted January 5, 2009 Author Report Posted January 5, 2009 Ok, I'm going no matter what.
Mik Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 Welcome back for The Crow. Time to murder some ginger.
RavishingRickRudo Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 Wait... Is that show actually happening? *Ups limit on credit card*
Lord of The Curry Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 No love for my spelling of Mir? Fuck you all.
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 The Crow is back? Why? I'd rather see "Smokin" Joe Villasenor.
Lord of The Curry Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 I imagine Montreal is a trial fight. Even if he wins he'll need to be exciting to earn an invite back. But yeah, little weird that Loiseau's connections with Jacksons gets him in but Joey is left out in the cold.
RavishingRickRudo Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 I imagine it's more Loiseau being one of Montreals more popular fighters. Am I the only one thinking that the only reason they are having Anderson Silva fight in Montreal is to set up Silva vs. GSP (in Montreal)?
Lord of The Curry Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 If GSP beats Penn and Silva retains in MTL there's no question GSP comes into the octagon afterwards to lay down the challenge.
RavishingRickRudo Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 Do you think they will have the proper plastic sheeting to cover the octagon after 18,000 collectively drop a load?
Lord of The Curry Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 I still feel bad for that couple who sat in front of us after GSP won. They weren't expecting you to be THAT excited.
Mik Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 Silva/Leites will no doubt be 2nd from the top as Brock is already the biggest PPV draw the UFC has.
Lt. Al Giardello Posted January 5, 2009 Author Report Posted January 5, 2009 Silva/Leites will no doubt be 2nd from the top as Brock is already the biggest PPV draw the UFC has. Not only that, but Lesnar/Mir 2 is problay the biggest money fight the UFC can offer.
Lord of The Curry Posted January 6, 2009 Report Posted January 6, 2009 UFC 97- Montreal Anderson Silva vs Thales Leites Frank Mir vs Brock Lesnar II David Loiseau vs Ed Herman Jonathan Goulet vs Tamdan McCrory
Mik Posted January 6, 2009 Report Posted January 6, 2009 Oh man, Barn Cat can win that fight. Just curious, where does the Brock/Mir news come from? Still haven't come across it myself.
Lord of The Curry Posted January 6, 2009 Report Posted January 6, 2009 MMAJunkie mentioned it in an article, talked about how all of the main events are locked up and IMO I don't see UFC throwing a fight that big away on a foreign show which would be Germany in June. July feels a bit long of a wait.
Lord of The Curry Posted January 6, 2009 Report Posted January 6, 2009 Duh. With that reach he'll KO Goulet before he can get close enough for a takedown.
Burning Pirate Ship Sex Posted January 6, 2009 Report Posted January 6, 2009 Or, Goulet will run chin first into a punch again.
Lord of The Curry Posted January 8, 2009 Report Posted January 8, 2009 Anderson Silva vs Thales Leites Frank Mir vs Brock Lesnar II David Loiseau vs Ed Herman Jonathan Goulet vs Tamdan McCrory Keith Jardine vs Luiz Cane
RavishingRickRudo Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 ESPN interview with Dana said that White would like to see Chuck fight in April. It also said he would like to see Chuck fight against Shogun. In April. Is there any other show in April other than the Montreal show?
Lord of The Curry Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 An Ultimate Fight Night but they wouldn't give that away for free. And as great as Chuck vs Shogun in MTL would be they need Chuck for their headliner in March at 96 unless they're about to surprise us with a new main event.
Lord of The Curry Posted January 15, 2009 Report Posted January 15, 2009 UFC 97- Montreal, April Anderson Silva vs Thales Leites David Loiseau vs Ed Herman Jonathan Goulet vs Tamdan McCrory Keith Jardine vs Luiz Cane Heath Herring vs TBA
RavishingRickRudo Posted January 15, 2009 Report Posted January 15, 2009 HERRING VS BOSSE!! DO IT NOW!!!
Lord of The Curry Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 Anderson Silva vs Thales Leites David Loiseau vs Ed Herman Jonathan Goulet vs Tamdan McCrory Keith Jardine vs Luiz Cane Heath Herring vs TBA Roger Huerta vs Sean Sherk Suuuuuch a dick move by UFC for Huerta's last fight if it pans out.
