Atticus Chaos Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 There was a rumour floating around a few months ago that WWE had held some informal talks about possibly bringing him back-on a part time schedule when his contract runs out, which I think is in September. Kurt has softened his rhetoric regarding Vince and WWE, and is probably mulling it over himself. I know in regards to his health, he's still in pretty bad shape, although not as bad as he once. And if they brought him back, it would be a blow to TNA, which has basically been built around him. Thoughts?
AlaskanHero Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 If Vince thinks he can make money with Kurt, he'll bring him back.
Atticus Chaos Posted March 8, 2009 Author Report Posted March 8, 2009 I'm not sure how Kurt would cope with WWE's wellness policy. Not well, I assume.

Stunned, Swagger goes for it again, only to see it reversed into the ankle lock with a leg grapevine.
Wally Balls Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 There's a pretty good chance, taking Kurt's health into consideration, that he could die during a high impact match. After Eddie and Benoit, they don't need another guy bringing in more negative media attention about 'roids and such.
Boner Kawanger Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 Kurt Angle vs CM Punk Punk goes for the GTS, Angle drops down into a sunset flip and breaks the two count to get the Ankle Lock. Angle reverses it in midmove to an anklelock, which Punk reverses to an anklelock until Angle reverses the reversal to an anklelock with a leg grapevine.

Boner Kawanger Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 Kurt Angle vs HHH Pedigree. It's over.
Obi Chris Kenobi Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 If he went back he'd be on ECW. Isn't that what he left behind when he 'jumped' 2 years ago?
daileyxplanet Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 I would like Kurt Angle to finish his career in WWE, but I don't want him to finish his life there.
Boner Kawanger Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 If he went back he'd be on ECW. Isn't that what he left behind when he 'jumped' 2 years ago? Yes, legal precedent, that definitely matters.
Obi Chris Kenobi Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 You know what I mean Would he really leave a show that he's half running, to go back to ECW which he reportedly hated?
Atticus Chaos Posted March 8, 2009 Author Report Posted March 8, 2009 I would like Kurt Angle to finish his career in WWE, but I don't want him to finish his life there. I don't think a part time WWE position is that bad. Certainly not any harder than his current TNA schedule.
cabbageboy Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 Angle should look at Christian. While Vince sees him as a higher up guy than Christian he's still another signing from TNA that would wind up on ECW. He'd likely be putting over Swagger.
ChrisMWaters Posted March 9, 2009 Report Posted March 9, 2009 Found this video a while back, and it's a few years old, but maybe this will answer the question at hand:
