Oh yeah... the "staticus" as we would call it in our youth. I know I'm pathetic. -

Either Ashlynn Brooke or Bree Olson. I get those two confused all the time. -
Did it hurt when the fireworks burned you?

Orton's reign was so solid that he effectively shook off all of the stigma that came with his World Championship burial back in 2004. Many thought that he would never be able to recover from that, but I think that he performed very well as WWE Champion this time around. As far as HHH goes, I guess that it's okay that he has been given another reign, but really... does having the WWE Championship do anything for him, or vice versa? If I want to see a veteran capture the belt again, I want it to go to HBK. I'm sure that HHH will carry the belt just fine, but I'm still kinda indifferent to the idea. Regal in the main event? I know better than to get my hopes up. I am assuming that MVP dropping the US Championship is the first step in moving him up the card. I like the idea, but I have have this fear that they will get cold feet with him and he will wind up getting buried early into his main event push. I hope that I'm wrong. I missed about 75% of the card, so I can't really comment. Edge/UT was good, and I hope that they put that one on ice for the time being so that they can come back to it fresh. And Mick Foley was really welcome on commentary. Don't know what their long-term plans are with him, but it was really cool.

What were your 1-year-before Wrestlemania predictions?
PILLS! PILLS! PILLS! replied to Damien's topic in General Wrestling
I distinctly remember predicting Shawn Michaels vs. Diesel at WrestleMania XI one year before it went down. I had no idea that the WWF Championship would be factored in, though. -
Hate to take away from the endless HHH debate, but I missed the diva tag tonight. How did Nattie Neidhart look? Did she get a decent amount of time in the ring?
-
If anything, just tell me that HHH is going to retire the bling belt. I'm far beyond sick of looking at it.

Atmosphere is great. Really one of the few remaining things that hip hop has going for itself. Haven't heard anything beyond You Can't Imagine How Much Fun We're Having, though I really thought that album was a weak effort. Overcast! is just an indie rap masterpiece, and Seven's Travels is even better in some ways. I haven't checked out any of Slug's side projects yet. Anybody know if they're any good?

Are we still talking about the Walk Score or did I miss out? Well anyway, I got a 45. I credit that to the redneck bar that is thirty yards away from my house. I knew a "Josh Moore" who managed a Dog N' Suds where I used to work. He had a '13' tattooed on the back of his neck... so yeah... common weird stuff.

I just sort have an irrational phobia of southern accents and drawls. The people just sound like they are a few evolutionary paces behind. Like they don't know the difference between right and wrong. That's dangerous. Oh, and the weather in the Midwest sucks a lot of cock. Not in a good way, either. I hate it. -

Wow, Vince really is a pioneer for free speech. -
Good call. Forgot about the Southern Justice label. I had no idea that they used it when they were in WCW. Also, I think that Sexton Hardcastle & Christian Cage competed as a tag team in Canada before they became The Brood/E&C in the WWF. And they wrestled as the Conquistadors. That reminds me... Hardy Boyz/Los Conquistadors/Wildo & Ingus Jynx/New Brood

Michael Hayes Suspended For Being A Racist?
PILLS! PILLS! PILLS! replied to haVoc's topic in The WWE Folder
Pretty much. If I had to take a guess, though, I would assume that Henry told Hayes that it wasn't acceptable, and instead of just apologizing, Hayes tried to justify it, which would be a bad call on his part. Mere speculation, though, since I wasn't there of course. -
Here's a two-part question: A) Why did the Southern Boys change their name to the Young Pistols? Was there an explanation given? B) How many tag team duos have competed under two or more monikers? This is what I can come up with: Southern Boys/Young Pistols Dudley Boyz/Team 3D Team Angle/TWGTT Mega Powers/Monster Maniacs Bad Company/Orient Express Road Warriors/Legion of Doom Minnesota Wrecking Crew/Beverly Bros. The Blonde Bombers/The Dicks Sheepherders/Bushwhackers Untouchables/Throwbacks/Deuce & Domino Ebony Experience/Harlem Heat Quebecers/Amazing French Canadians Powers of Pain/Super Assassins Bruise Brothers/Blu Twins/Harris Twins/Grimm Twins/DOA/Creative Control Too Cool/Too Much Neighborhoodies/Cryme Tyme Island Boys/3-Minute Warning Samoan Swat Team/Headshrinkers PG-13/Cyberpunks Gymini/Shane Twins The Headbangers/Sisters of Love/Flying Nuns/Spiders Head Hunters/Squat Team Gangstas in Paradise/Samoan Gangsta Party New Age Outlaws/James Gang/Voodoo Kin Mafia Major Brothers/Edgeheads Harlem Knights/Men on a Mission The Acolytes/APA Tex Schlesinger & Shanghai Pierce/The Godwinns/Southern Justice E&C/The Brood/Los Conquistadors Hardy Boyz/New Brood/Wildo & Ingus Jynx/Los Conquistadors I would also throw in Tex Schlesinger & Shanghai Pierce as The Godwinns. I would not count The Rockers dropping the "Midnight" from their name, however. EDIT: UPDATED LIST

Because Edge has a title shot on sunday and CM Punk doesn't? I still say that every match is booked according to what they have planned for both guys. Well, at least when more than one "pushed guy" is in the match.

Neat. I had no idea that it came from YTMND. That just adds a whole new... fuck it. A great thing to lay on a guy who is high and drunk. I'll give you that much. Thank you. Good stuff. Thank you.
