  1. That would be pretty cool. I could live with that, I just think the consensus has been a death for Tony.
  2. haha, not THAT against cast.
  3. From TrueHoop: UPDATE: From ESPN research: When Bryant signed his free-agent contract on July 15, 2004, a seven-year deal worth $136.4 million, a no-trade clause was built into his contract. He is the only player in the NBA that has a no-trade clause in his contract. He has a no-trade clause for at least two more seasons, at which time he can opt out of his current contract (after the 2008-09 season). If he exercises his option to become a free agent, he would walk away from a combined $47.8 million for the 2009-10 and 2010-11 seasons. The only way the Lakers could trade Bryant is if he waived his no-trade clause, which means the team would need Bryant's approval to trade him. And more from Mike Bresnahan in the L.A. Times: Bryant will obviously waive his no-trade clause, but he has a trade kicker in his contract that is believed to add about $13 million to his total contract value, a cost to be absorbed by any team that acquires him. The money would be paid like a signing bonus and would not count toward the salary cap. The Lakers had to pay a similar fee to Lamar Odom when they acquired him from Miami three years ago, paying him about $8 million.
  4. This is one of the few occasions where I feel like the complaining star has enough clout to force a deal, and rather quickly. I mean the lakers have essentially been toying with the roster for the past few years post shaq, none of it has been a major play to be a competitor again. I've been hearing portland, but that doesn't right. I'm thinking something with an eastern conference team..using Charlotte as a facilitator to eat up bad contracts.
  5. Interested to hear others thoughts. East or West? Clippers like what almost happened a few years back? Isiah sells the farm for him? What do you guys think.
  6. Nothing like going to ESPN.com and seeing "Kobe: Trade Me" as the headline. Great stuff. I'm going to start a thread for Kobe trade talk if that makes sense with everyone else.
  7. Sigh, the thought of moving the Devils out of state hurt my heart. However, I'm not stupid, the teams name has come up numerous times when there are talks of relocation. But I think its more team style and terribly located arena than general apathy that keeps them from filling the CAA. I've always disliked that argument about style of play though. Thats like when people get mad because someone else found a way to circumvent the system. They figured out a way...hockey changed the rules...and they STILL figured out another way.
  8. Yeah man, their bottles almost seem like they are made out of PVC pipe. Heavy as all hell.
  9. Ugh, if these things come back to MD I might move.
  10. Maybe they should try someone against their type cast?
  11. I'm still pissed Arrested Development got canned.
  12. More rehashed jokes. Always a winner. I'm sure it will still make a decent amount, but the trailer didn't do it any favors.

What exactly are the problems you were having with the Crackdown DLC? Did you lose any save data?
  14. Yeah only people like Berman still refer to Eckstein as underrated...and think hes proven on numerous occasions he has no idea what he is talking about.
  15. I probably hate Kobe Bryant more than any other NBA player I've ever disliked. And I feel absolutely no sympathy for him in this issue. However, I will give him the benefit of the doubt for going to the media with this, but only because the Lakers went their first.
  16. I have an upconverting DVD player right now, and I'm just hoping that HD/DVD wins so that all I have to do is get the add on for my Xbox 360.
  17. Pandora used to be good, but I haven't listened in a while, but you might want to try that.
  18. Listened to Chutes Too Narrow - The Shins today, as well as Good News for People Who Like Bad News - Modest Mouse, and Game Theory - The Roots.
  19. For some strange reason I spell out NES, but in reference to SNES I say "Super Nintendo". No idea why this is.

Over class like Gunstar Heroes, Haunting, Skitchin and Mega Lo Mania? Did I stutter? I am in agreement.
  21. If Stallone can put out Rocky and Rambo Movies in his 60s, Bruce Willis can still be Det. John McClain..IMO
  22. Anyone here play gears of war...Tony's curb stomp on Coco had to remind you of something.. Yeah it seems like they have to jam a helluva a lot into two hours. Plus I always figured if they were going to kill Tony off they would do it an episode before the actual finale, so that you could get some kind of view of the aftermath.
  23. A super battle would have been nice, but it might have pushed the show more towards an X-Men esque show instead it being more like a drama. (IMO)
  24. I miss Golden State They were so entertaining on so many levels.
  25. Yeah, I'm unsure how you find much credible evidence on him in such a shady atmosphere.
