  1. Not if Joe Johnson and Eddy Curry are in Hawks uniforms... ::like that'll happen::
  2. The Suns vs. the Hawks
  3. Why's that?

    WON MMA HOF

    The Tank Test.
  5. Lakers vs. Wizards would have been nice.
  6. Yep. I saw it after Dallas' draft. The Tuna has had success with every sorry team he coached and turned them into a contender. My only concern with the Chargers right now is their LB corps. They seem to be a bit banged there up lately. Those guys really made a difference last year for the Chargers along with their revamped O-line.

Sak's camp called out Rickson in 2000. The Gracie's never gave an answer. That match would have sold out any arena in Japan.
  8. No, I stand by my AFC SB pick: the Chargers. The Jets look *really* good in my eyes to make it all the way if Ty Law is healthy enough to make an impact. That team has a nice balance of great defense/offense, which is enough to win championships. Pennington's health is the only drawback I see.
  9. SAR should just hitch a ride on the Heat wagon and sign for whatever they can offer him. Everyone on that team is probably going to win a ring next year anyways.
  10. So...tell me again how the Jets will lose this year's Superbowl? They are stacked in the 2ndary now and their Defense can make men cry. Yowza.

    WON MMA HOF

Do Rickson Gracie next. The WON HOF already gets ragged on for the crummy eligibility requirements, along with how the first batch of HOFers were just thrown into it anyways, so I fail to see why anyone here would want to use Meltzer's rules. No one should be eligible for the HOF until they are retired. You don't see guys in baseball, basketball, football or hockey playing with HOFers by their side. That only works out with coaches who retired but then came back after being voted into the HOF. It's only been 12 years since UFC 1 was on PPV. Some of the guys who fought on that show are still fighting today.
  12. I like it. I'm surprised he didn't add 50 more characters onto the cover.
  13. Agreed on Bendis and DD. The pacing for DD stories was awful with Bendis. They'd drag out forever and the pay off would suffer because of that. If he had just stopped writing DD after #50, everything would have been okay and he could have left on a better note back then than he will now. My biggest gripe with DD has always been the art though. I don't care for the shadow and line style at all since it's sometimes too damn difficult to tell what the hell's going on in a panel sequence. Add to Bendis' stretched out stories and this book has made for an awful read at times.
  14. They're just being lazy.
  15. At the very moment it looked as though Stephanie McMahon was about to kick Kurt Angle in the nuts...
  16. I like the third dimension dynamic to the Big 3 relationship now. Wonder Woman will kill, Superman will kill when left with no choice but hates it, and Batman is completely opposed to killing. Wondy's a born warrior and will always have more balls than the boys. It can happen. Personally, I think this makes Wonder Woman the most dangerous female in the DCU now after nearly killing Superman (and having already pounded on Batman a couple years ago). Tha bitch got pissed. I like it. Nice work DC. The company is seriously ahead of Marvel right now in terms of good story telling. House of M is awful and the New Avengers screams cash scam from Marvel with no heart behind the team. Spider-Man *and* Wolverine on the same team? Is Marvel bleeding for more cash again? Keep that stuff on the d-low and make their meetings special.
  17. No, you're right. JP Losman: upgrade or downgrade at QB?
  18. I'm just going to merge this one with the other thread started before. I'll also edit the title.
  19. That's crazy. Buffalo's O-line was a conundrum. The line either looked really crummy or else they played like it was 1992 all over again. They looked good down the final half of the season.
  20. I liked the show but the UFC were insane by putting Salaverry in the ME. He has no fighting spirit (i.e. marketability) and he's boring to boot. That was not a good note to end the show on.
  21. Jake Delhomme on the Saints would win like 4 Superbowls. New Orleans would implode from massive partying.

You shouldn't. Who would be eligible on that list then?
  23. Should the Titans consider Billy Volek to be their long-term QB? Stevey Mac probably has 2 good years left in him, if that.

    WON MMA HOF

Hey, I only got 6 votes. Kaz is a HOFer but in the grand scheme of things, Funaki means more. He wasn't a stiff in the fighting department either. Rutten > Shamrock. That's why I'll never feel the need to vote for Ken on anything since Bas just did it all better at the same (205 & 220) Ken weighed in through his career.
