  1. I don't think I look good with a moustache so I've never had one for long. I've had a beard (I shaved it off last week) and a goatee before but I never kept a stache for long if I wasn't growing one of those two. I also don't have the squinty eyes that Putty has. He looks like Renee Zellweger's brother.
  2. You know me too well blone-haired one. I was shocked to say the least when you mentioned this. I always pictured you to look like NoCalMike. Kinda. Long hair, scuffy beard, menacing eyes (which Mike lacks), and about enough weight on you to give Raymond Burr a run for his money during his final years. Basically, like Kerry King back when he had long hair and was bigger back then compared to now. My world was shattered after this revelation.
  3. I'll give you a million billion dollars if you can dig up the Adolf Keith pic. Greatest thing I ever saw. Ask IllOne about that. Heck, he might still have it methinks...
  4. N*gga plz. I already typed up everything I could say on the Game in my laundry list post of stupid stuff he's done. Besides, italicized words to me look odd in a post so I rarely use them. I also hate having to use footnotes in something I write since I feel they're a waste of space since 80% of the folks who read something with footnotes will most likely not care about the source unless they have a unqiue or special interest in the matter. I *did* get a chuckle from the Game when he referred to me as Sgt.Slaughter when he was complaining about the WWE folder changes under one of his many banned user names though... Picturing myself with a chin like Slaughter's was humorous to me I suppose.
  5. Trolling in the HD, LSD and Puro folders, which is an automatic ban. It was the Puro folder where she/he finally buried themselves in. It also looks like the Game decided to make another comeback to the board as well under the HT name.
  6. ::prepares firing squad for CWM the dissenter::
  7. Also, Lois Lane is another one I'm having trouble casting. If Courtney Cox were at least 10 years younger...she'd be a shoe-in to me. Other than that, I'm not sure who else could play the type of character that Lois is (very bitchy, assertive, controlling, nosey...but comes off looking damn hAwt because of all those things along with not taking any crap from anyone as well as being able to whip a number of ass due to her military training from her dad). Anyone else have someone in mind to play Lex or Lois?
  8. Jolie would probably jump at the chance to play WW since she knows her time has come to and end with the Tomb Raider franchise. Angelina Jolie > Sandra (40 and lookin *damn* good though) Bullock. The funny thing about all the casting calls by folks I've read...is that *no one* in my opinion has managed to pick out a good Luthor. Hell, even I'm stumped as to who would *look* like a good Lex. There are plnety of guys I could see doing a bang-up job in the acting department for Lex. But apperance wise...I don't know. It can't be the guy from Smallville because he'd have to beef up to at least 30 or 40 pounds to play the older version of Lex (who was no cruiser weight) and he'd also would have to be able to stare at someone as if he were burning a hole through their soul. That's something John Byrne did well when he recreated Lex for the big Superman revamp in '86 for DC Comics since he went from being a crazy mad scientist to a shrewd, cold and manipulative businessman.
  9. I'm just a little teary eyed after you made that post Stunt... ::sobs the salty tears of joy:: Folks should PM us with stuff like that instead. We're more likely to do/catch something like that if PMed.
  10. I think Angelina Jolie would make a good Wonder Woman or Catwoman. She's not much older than Bale and she's a year or so away from turning 30. She's got the youth that a WW franchise would/could use and is also a name that a lot of folks know (WW is also pretty well known I'd say since she is in DC's big 3 of heroes that the majority of the public know along with Superman and Batman). Plus she'd be wearing a skimpy star-spangled outfit, which I wouldn't mind seeing her in either for 2 hours or so...
  11. Ricky is right. Trolling isn't allowed here at TSM and is one of the few automatic ban worthy matters. You've also made a nuisance out of yourself in the HD and LSD folders and have managed to bring your ignorance to the Puro folder as well. Later Hot Ticket.
  12. What kind of music do they play? They sound...Asian.
  13. No group will ever beat the Post Whorsemen, the gPc, or Team Havoc. They're infamous. The ESTABLISHMENT~! came *close* to becoming infamous...but it didn't have the same impact on this board that the other 3 cliques had at the old Smarks EZ Board before the massive WDI exodus.
  14. I'm more of a tech tard than Dames is so Dr.Tom and IllOne have definitely managed to help out the staffers. Now if only 212 and Will would show up more often...
  15. By the time a 2nd Superman movie would be made Fraser would be about 40 years old or older. People would then complain he'd be too old to conitnue on in any sequels. With Welling you have youth as well as the closest look to Supes that I've seen anyone else have barring bringing in some unknown to play him (no one has the big blue eyes that Supes has except Welling which is also a trait that Christopher Reeves had and he *looked* like the character come to life). Who else did you have in mind besides Fraser?
  16. Whoever plays Cage needs to be beefed up like a mutha. LT I would have no qualms with. Luke isn't the brightest bulb in the bunch but when he wants to he can lay some righteous ass whoopins on whoever the poor guy is that's in his way. Iron Fist is American so unless Hollywood fubars the character up royally, the part will be given to some white guy who knows the martial arts.
  17. '77 - '78 Oakland Raiders: Gene Upshaw Fred Biltenikoff George Blanda Willie Brown Art Shell Ted Hendricks Dave Casper Al Davis as well who is also in the HoF.
  18. Winnick killed off whatever hope Rayner had at remaining as GL. Rayner never had a chance since day one. Everyone knew that one day DC would go back and resurrect Hal, it was just all a matter of when the sales for GL would plummet so badly that Rayner would be called a "sales poison" and be replaced. Welcome back Mr.Jordan, hopefully your stay will be better this time around.
  19. Los Angeles Dodgers: Sandy Koufax. Los Angeles Lakers Magic Johnson. Oakland Raiders Marcus Allen.
  20. Kobe can get a 7-year, $142 million contract deal if he holds the Lakers up for a new contract. That's the best deal he can get in the league from any team (the Spurs included). He will more than likely end up in Memphis due to his relationship with Jerry West who he was very close with when West was with the Lakers front office. He's always been considered a "father figure" to Kobe (in some circles, a better "father" figure than his actual one). They are also one of the teams who could offer him a good deal along with SA, Atl, and the Clippers but nowhere near what the Lakers could pay him if he stays. That might have been true had Karl's mother not passed away earlier this year. He has his priorities in check it seems and has said the points record is meaningless to him now that his mother won't be able to witness it. Karl has too much pride to me to pimp himself out like that to a team like Atlanta. He wouldn't have anyone to help him score and would be in a bad situation down there to say the least. GS is an option since Payton would be playing closer to his hometown but he'd probably only go there if the team offered him a deal like he had during the 90's with Seattle (which would be dumb for several reasons). Shaq wants more money. He feels he can still play ball and wants a deal that will allow him to play until he is in his mid 30's at least. He isn't going to retire unless he is forced to due to injuries (which has a strong chance of happening in the next couple of seasons). These are the main factors involving a new Jackson contract: 1. His relationship with Shaq and Kobe. 2. His health. 3. His relationship with Jeannie Buss. If neither of those 3 things are strong or positive then he will most likely retire after this season. So far the first point hasn't been doing well this season with both players lashing out at Jackson (most file it under "pressure" though since Kobe might be in jail next year and Shaq wants a contract extension pronto). The other two points haven't developed well enough for anyone to get a good enough read on. I don't believe T-Mac can wait around to see if Okafor is coming in because I read somewhere that Orlando's GM told T-Mac he had x-amount of months to look for a new team after the horrible season the team had, with much of the blame put on T-Mac's shoulders. If anyone has any info on the deal with T-Mac, please feel free to correct me here.
  21. He hasn't shown effort in years. During the post-season he'll kick into a higher gear sometimes but he is so broken down from the knees down that he is forced to limit the amount of energy he exerts so he doesn't throw something out of whack. Shaq just wants a contract extension. Once/If he gets that then he'll complain about how he'll only play for the new coach if Coach Jackson retires. He's a merc right now who is just looking for a couple more years of payday's.
  22. Of course Byron Scott might be a canidate to coach the Lakers if Phil Jackson doesn't return. It all depends on who Dr.Buss would value more to have on the team: Scott or Kidd. He's a gambler so I'd say he'd take a chance with getting T-Mac signed before he'd have the front office make a pitch to Kidd (comes cheaper than Kidd and doesn't have all his excess baggage). Dr.Buss has said he'd like to see Byron return to the Lakers one day in some sort of capacity so that probably rules out seeing Kidd on the Lakers if it goes down that way.
  23. For the NFL, these are the guys who I associate teams with (snaking Redhawk's listing): Cardinals - Jim Hart Falcons - Steve Bartkowski Ravens - Ray Lewis Bills - Jim Kelly Panthers - Kerry Collins Bears - Walter Payton Bengals - Ken Anderson Browns - Bernie Kozar Cowboys - Tony Dorsett Broncos - John Elway Lions - Barry Sanders Packers - Bart Starr Oilers - Warren Moon Titans - Steve McNair Colts - Johnny Unitas Jaguars - Mark Brunell Chiefs - Otis Taylor Raiders - Howie Long Rams - Eric Dickerson Dolphins - Dan Marino Vikings - Fran Tarkenton Pats - Steve Grogan Saints - Archie Manning Giants - Lawrence Taylor Jets - Joe Namath Eagles - Ron Jaworski Steelers - Terry Bradshaw Chargers - Dan Fouts 49ers - Joe Montana Seahawks - Shaun Alexander Buc - John Lynch Reskins - Joe Thesiman
  24. Los Angeles Dodgers: Sandy Koufax Oakland Raiders: Howie Long Los Angeles Lakers: Magic Johnson
  25. Word out of Laker land is that if Kobe ends up gone from the team (leaves/gets convicted of rape and put in jail) then Tracy McGrady looks like the most likely candidate to replace him after Orlando's GM made the announcement that McGrady has a certain amount of time to negotiate with other teams before his contract rolls (I forget the specifics but I was a little surprised that T-Mac was called to the floor like that). Jason Kidd got a new contract at the end of last season with the Nets IIRC and so he doesn't look like he'll go anywhere. But there is always the chance he might come and join the Lakers if the team gives him a better sweet heart deal then what he currently has with NJ. Shaq is stuck with the team until the end of next year's season and wants a contract extension (he's been calling for one since the start of this season). Unless his cardio improves and his weight goes down, Dr.Buss will probably make the call to let his contract roll. If the team does get Kobe to stay with them (barring jail time) then there's a strong possibility that the team will not continue to negotiate a new contract with Coach Jackson (the contract talks have been suspended since the late fall) and let him retire and ask Byron Scott to come back to LA and take over as the head coach of the Lakers. Malone and Payton will more than likely be gone from LA come next season regardless of how this season turns out. Derek Fisher will probably continue to stick around along with Rick Fox (ugh) since both guys are popular on the team and are well liked by the front office.
