Only concern I'd have for Warner there is that he isn't exactly mobile. How solid is the Bengals' OL? I know Kitna was hardly Michael Vick, but he could move. Warner, to me, seems almost as immobile as Drew Bledsoe. -=Mike ...And, while I love the guy, the Bills REALLY need to get a QB to replace Drew and soon Bledsoe was hideous when he would attempt to "run" around with the ball last season. If the Bills want to improve than they need to sack him (no pun intended). NE got rid of a cancer before it infected the entire team (which did manage to get Ty Law though).

Tus and Alzado were out of shape and aging but they helped lead the Raiders to 2 Superbowl wins in 4 years. After they retired, the Raiders lines were shite (which wasn't helped by Tom Flores and Jim Plunkett retiring as well). I'm being optimistic here since I really wasn't crazy about hearing Sapp got signed while Marcellis Wiley got signed up by Big D when the Raiders could have used him more. I *hated* Sapp towards the end of his career in TB but I'm hoping that he'll have a fire lit underneath him come Game 1. "Slave master's" my ass. And yeah, Pitt won't get better until Coach Coward is gone after having two *very* disappointing seasons after being pegged as SB winners in the Pre-Season. It happened with Coach Knowles towards the end of his tenure and it's time that Pitt considers a change in their head coach. I'm not crazy about the Raiders signing older players like you Tyler but they've managed to deliver the goods more times than they have failed with the "Old Guard" so I've managed to cope with this as a member of the Raiders Nation over the years. It doesn't mean I like it when the team's WR core are older than most of the players in the league (and the oldest one played better than the younger one last season as well).

I expect to see Warren play. Whether or not he does well in Oakland has yet to be determined. His last 2-3 seasons in TB were atrocious compared to past years so we'll see how he does in Oakland under Coach Turner by having a fire lit underneath his big ass. I get the Raiders hate all the time so this is nothing new Tyler. How 'bout them Steelers?

The Raiders have done very well when taking players from other teams who were considered "washed up" and helped see the team through stellar records and even a couple Superbowl's (Lamonica, Plunkett, Lott, Tus, Alzado, etc.) The team also has the winnigest record of any other team in the league (the Dolphins are in second and down by about 70 games or so) and have had a losing season only 10 times (below .500) which makes them one of the best regular and post season teams in NFL history. The oldest team in the history of football, combined age of 41 while the Raiders average age has been 36 for the past 3 seasons, was the Washington Redskins during coach George Allen's 7-year tenure as the head coach. The team was called the "Over-the-Hill Gang" for a reason.

They've been the oldest team for at least the last 4 seasons. In one of those seasons they made it to the Superbowl.

Al Davis has said in the past he wouldn't mind seeing Warner on the Raiders (this came in the post season after Gannon collapsed and Tui went down with an injury). I'd take Warner over Gannon since Gannon can't throw down the field long (see Oak/SD week 3).

Did you leave a space in between the two parts of the name? Otherwise it was probably CWM's since he had it spelled without a space. That was the only SKeith name too as any others got deleted in the purge.

Zack is correct. Don't worry folks, FS isn't going to be a mod for much longer. He's just clearing out the deadwood for us so we can get going on re-opening registerations again.

I like Suzy. That's a shame to hear about her snapping. It sounds like she might have some issues that no one is mentioning. That's a hell of a breakdown to have on TV like that and makes me wonder what's going to happen to her after this fiasco.
