Well he was pimping OSU pretty hard. It was kind of weird. I had to go and check the local news and make sure Stillwater hadn't been transportred to North Carolina.

We had this like moral teacher or something in High School. He came and just talked to us about life and taught us good ways to live it....or something. Anyways he was recounting a story from his youth about how he had an electric blanket that set his brand new house on fire....I just cracked up right there in the middle of class. Everyone turned and gave me a dirty look but by this time I was beat red and crying b/c I was laughing so hard.

Well I'm not as good at this game as some of you. I can't dominate it on Heisman like everyone else can. Hell I'm having a little bit of trouble on All-American. Anyways after my blowout of the weak ass DI-AA school I've come up against an actual school in #6 ranked Texas. I led 10-0 before Texas actually connected with a 66 yard pass to make it 10-7. A field goal from me ensued and we were into the waining moments of the game. Texas marched down the field and scored a TD! No! They were up 14-13. I started a new drive that ended on 4th down on the 30 when I was sacked! Oh man it was a close one and a heartbreaker to lose. See this is the kind of game I can actually stay into until the end and lose. When I'm getting blown out I just can't have fun with the game. I just get frustrated. I'm not as good at this game b/c I'm terrible on offense. I have trouble passing the ball as a QB and I'm not that great of a runner. I'm a better runner than I am a QB though. But for some reason if I leave the game in the computers hand at QB he makes dumb throws or gets sacked.

What was he doing that was bugging you? He didn't do anything out of the ordinary to me. Of course the ordinary for him makes me want to murder.

Well it was a pretty close game throughout and then suddenly at the end OSU just went nuts and pulled away.

OSU/Syracuse going at it right now. #5 vs. #4. Neither team appear to be playing that well.

Ok I swear to god I don't know who's going to win this god damn trophy. This is way to close!

Oh yeah, I remember that. I especially remember this girl I knew online who went to Purdue, giving me no end of shit A month later, the Vikings lost in the NFC title game after going 15-1. I don't know how I survived that month... Drugs. Lots of drugs.

it'd be fun to pit your Arkansas against my Arkansas State (who is 12-0 and boasted the strongest schedule with 8 ranked teams as my opponents) If I had X-Box live I'd take you on after I got a recruiting class in there. I scored on every possession. I didn't even have the highest time of possession b/c I scored so quickly and Ark-Pine Bluff's base offense was a goal line formation. That was weird.

Actually like I've said. Texas Tech while not in the same league as Cal is one of those dangerous teams that can spoil your day. They have a quick strike offense and if Cal goes in thinking about the Rose Bowl and doesn't have there head in the game then TT could ruin there day. Hell if Cal isn't focused TT could be up on them by a couple TD's before they realize it.

I just started a new Dynasty on All-American with Arkansas. My first game was against Ark-Pine Bluff. A D-IAA school. I won 100-7. It was actually pretty fun.

That's a good assessment Igg. So do you see Mack Brown going for dueling QB's in this game if they need to get the pass going and Young can't get the job done? Or do you think Young's developed enough as a passer to do the job against Michigan's D?

Well I work at Radioshack. The least busy Radioshack in Oklahoma at that. So during the SEC Championship and the USC/UCLA game I had them both on two TV's apiece with two stereo's going. My boss complained about it but customers loved it.

Well I'm not a huge partier so I don't usually miss out. And if I show up at a party and there's a TV I flip the bowl game on.

Yeah but what were the conference affiliations for the others. And how big were they tradition wise and importance wise? I always though the Cotton Bowl was up there.

This is why the votes need to be public so we can know who these crazy assholes are. I'm sure one of them's name is something like Back Mrown.

I knew a guy that said that if he watched at least 1 quarter of every bowl game then he'd have a good year.

Did the Orange, Fiesta, and Sugar have the same luster? And on top of that what were there original conference affiliations. And why don't they complain as much as The Rose Bowl?

Oh they can do wrong. I just think they get unfairly blasted and get bashed on for things that other teams do and get praised for. I think there is a media lean against OU. They can do wrong. They did wrong against KSU last year. They did wrong in the 90's(a whole lot of wrong). But I just think they get bashed on by the media way to much. I mean they have like tons of tradition. They're one of the most tradition rich and winningest programs ever(i think they have like the 4th most wins all time) but everyone pretty much ignores it. Plus they're from the mid-western United States and most big media either has an East or West coast bias. They forget there are states in between California and New York.

Well then the system needs to be changed. You guys forget that I like Cal and want them in this game. But the bitching is getting crazy. The system is wrong and needs to be changed. I agree. The voters need to have some accountability here. And the fact that a coach is able to campaign and sway opinions is wrong.

I'm not even supporting OU in these posts! I'm talking about Texas and Michigan. I stopped talking about OU way the hell back there! And I'm not mentioning OU in the other bowls thread! And everyone is making fun of Texas so I did to....because well it's fun to pick on Texas. Am I not allowed to pick on Texas?

Well they still would've gotten long plays but they wouldn't have burned OU as badly. What I'm saying is that Matt Leinart isn't going to have a field day on OU like some are thinking after watching the OSU and A&M games. Yeah he's going to probably throw a TD or maybe two. But he isn't going to light them up like he did ND. And I don't expect Jason White to throw 4 TD's and 400 yards either.

Will they list it as OSU and OSU on the scorecard? That would be funny.

Hmm.....ok I'm interested in all the Big XII games except ISU and Colorado.
