  1. This may be true C-Bacon but it is not the whole story. If Americans cannot tell the difference between Arabs, Muslims, and al-Qaeda the Middle Eastern World have to take their share of the blame. The few voices condeming terrorist attacks have been lost in a slew of bloody attack after bloody attack. If the UAE went more out of their way and had not had a number of the 9-11 assholes running around over there prior they probably would had been able to put this deal through. That does not still make this port deal a good idea or even a safe one. Turning this deal down hopefully will put a focus of the war on terror right where it belongs. In beefing up our security for real. For putting the needs of people before the needs of business. Americans can take care of themselves better than anybody else can. Making things solid over here is a much better idea than wasting our time leaving a vaccum of power in Iraq. When we eventually leave them there after it dawns on somebody in power that there is no solution in Iraq all those soldiers we sent will have died for nothing. But hey, things have turned out just fine in Iraq for somebody! Fret not! Haliburton is doing just fine! Hey, that gives me an idea about how to proceed with the ports deal... Hmmmm.
  2. Yes, I am. Overpaying a guy who long term may only drain precious funds with little to show for it isn't a good investment. If Goldberg is willing to play ball and do what they need him to, then I'm all for it. Only in the short term because a guy like Goldberg thinks he is worth more than he is. What they need him for is as an established star, to come in go over on a few lower card guys to set up for a PPV payoff against a Monty Brown or someone on the same level.
  3. If they used him once or twice I see no problem with Goldberg coming in. Lets say one match where he goes over to set up for a PPV where he puts over somebody they are pushing. Then go away Goldberg.
  4. I agree that the TNA crowd had been generous to many of the TNA workers for sometimes less than outstanding work. However, (I assume) this is something of a reaction to the WWE and their philosphy of booking and working matches. It's a message. A message that reads WE are the real fans of wrestling and THIS is the kind of thing real wrestling fans want to see. Say what you want about the definition of sequences and what not but it is one of the few aspects of wrestling that doesn't seem to involve gimmick or storyline when being performed. Over at the E gimmick and storyline interfere with nearly everything. So naturally those who are allergic that sort of thing will go the extra mile to shed light on wrestling, athletics, and underutilized talent. Is it always appropriate? No. But often times it is. At least this crowd knows what it likes. Besides can you blame them for wanting TNA to do well? Even if part of that doing well involves Lance Hoyt?
  5. Hurry up and just give Black Lushus a trophy.
  6. I'm watching this movie right now. Classic.^
  7. Bash 91 being the worst can be debated. However, it WAS a waste of money. I watched that crap live. I am so very sorry.
  8. It's nice to see somebody has standards.
  9. Wow, if I had only read the responses in this thread I'd have thought it was something *I* had posted. Sheesh!
  10. I'm down with crabcakes. Now I gotta go some. Too bad it's 11:30pm where I am. Fuck.
  11. Well it will probably be nothing special. If that's a disappointment than I guess it is. Though I think being on primetime they will try to put their best face on and best foot forward, so the effort will there. I just have my doubts that it will make me want to buy WM. Which I'm not doing. So if anyone else is like me then that might be another reason to call it a disappointment I suppose.
  12. I'm really down on AJ Styles. The guy is a great talent, but he does nothing for me. To me he is an indy Billy Gunn: He can bump like a motherfucker, but his offence puts me to sleep.
  13. You missed Van Damme dancing. It was great and you missed it.
  14. Oh for fucks sake just get to the match where Lita or Maria's tits flop out.

  17. Fact #1:Pregnant women are not sexy. Fact #2: Semen laced with steroids can be hell on a womans voice. Fact #3: Eugene still ain't over.
  18. Why not. It wasn't meant as a flame. But look at Van Damme FLAME!
  19. Remember how I said you were cool in that other thread? You are even the coolier now!
  20. Ahh go ahead it's HD.
  21. Well I do... NOW anyway. It sounds like it should mean I just choked the shit out of somebody.
  22. Jocular: I had no idea what that meant. Thanks Dictionary.com! Now I am one word smarter than a second ago.
  23. You were doing so well until you said you liked Creed. Dude... fuck YOU.
  24. Carnival seems like a cool guy. His Jarrett love is both disturbing and entertaining. Plus, he likes ICP, as do I. That alone makes a person better than other persons.
  25. Dot or feather? And I have no issue with Leena. She's ok in niskie's book. I agree. But I don't see why there needs to be multiple threads about her. So far what I do know of her is hardly what I could call "lunacy". Telling idiots to shut the fuck up is hardly mental illness. It's prereq round these here parts.
