Rhode Island is SO the emo douche bag capitol of america. While I am hating... fuck Paul Reiser too.

Nobody should be surprised at how well DVC would do prior to the reviews that came out. It had be groomed to be a hit. But when the reviews hit I was sure it would bomb since not only were they negative... but they were REALLY negative. Having only read the book recently maybe I was underestimating the books popularity. Oh well catholics. Deal with it or don't.

This is fantastic. I guess wrestlers get bored on the internet too. It is nowhere near the life of non-stop workouts, dieting, and training I thought it was.
-
Knowing the WWE style of booking it wouldn't be too much a stretch to have Vince and Heyman at ringside interfering for their guy all through the match.

Religious people get threatened all the time. But since this is an OBVIOUS work of FICTION (even if the research behind it is valid) you really have to wonder a few things: · If they really thought this was just fiction why are they so upset? · Since they are so upset doesn’t that mean their faith isn’t as strong as they think it is? · Why can’t they ever deal with the issues when people ask questions about their faith? · If they can’t even deal to answer questions, doesn’t that make their motives suspect? The way things are people around the world are going out to see this movie. If it forces people to ask questions of the church it is their own fault if they can’t or won’t answer them. This post brought to you by Microsoft Word.

Who here supports the current administration?
CheesalaIsGood replied to Your Paragon of Virtue's topic in Current Events
We've been annexing countries for over a century: Hawaii, the Philippines, Puerto Rico, Cuba, so forth. Who cares, though? We were always a day late and a dollar short in the whole imperialism thing. Also, Iraq is more of a puppet state than a colony. De facto colony, I guess. Iraq is not a US colony, and never will be. For an area to be a colony, the colonizing power has to have firm control, and people from that country need to be able to travel to the colony. Clearly that's not the case right now. Frankly, I think the US should have more overseas territories and colonies than it does now. Maybe then the rest of the world wouldn't be so messed up. Yeah, I can see the rest of the world seeing it that way too. -

Stacy Keibler suffers seizure: rushed to NYC Hospital
CheesalaIsGood replied to Dangerous A's topic in The WWE Folder
Ok, let it be known. In light of recent events... It is plain that Stacy Keibler needs some one to keep an eye on her as she is a Hollywood investment in the making. Therefore I volunteer MY time and good charity to be responsible for Miss Keibler in her "off-hours". Then it's just a waiting game til she has another seizure and then I... UMAGA!!!!! -
I'm not one to bitch about wrestling but tonights show... ZzzzzzZZzzzzzzZzzzzz. Least I finally got to see this Gunner Scott guy. He seems alright. Hopefully he doesn't fall into the Burchill trap.

http://msnbc.msn.com/id/12818225/ Updated: 3:55 p.m. ET May 16, 2006 WASHINGTON - The Pentagon on Tuesday released the first video images of American Airlines Flight 77 crashing into the military headquarters building and killing 189 people in the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. The images, recorded by Pentagon security cameras outside the building, were made public in response to a December 2004 Freedom of Information Act request by Judicial Watch, a public interest group. Some still images from the video had previously been leaked and publicly circulated, but this was the first official release. The airplane is a thin white blur on the video as it slams into the Pentagon at ground level. Almost instantly a white flash and a huge orange fireball appear on the video, followed by a tower of gray-black smoke. One of the videos shows a Pentagon police car driving in the direction of the impact point shortly after the plane hit. Story continues below ↓ advertisement Traveling at an estimated 350 mph, the hijacked American Airlines plane plowed into the southwest side of the Pentagon at 9:38 a.m. EDT, shortly after two other hijacked airlines were flown into the twin towers at the World Trade Center in New York. The attack set off fires in a portion of the Pentagon and killed 125 people inside, in addition to the 59 passengers and crew and the five men who hijacked the plane at Dulles International Airport. The Pentagon had previously refused to release the videos, saying they had been provided to the Justice Department as evidence in any criminal proceedings. “We fought hard to obtain this video because we felt that it was very important to complete the public record with respect to the terrorist attacks of September 11,” said Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch. Cheryl Irwin, a Pentagon spokeswoman, said families of the victims of the Pentagon attack were not consulted before the videos were released on the Pentagon’s Web site. Oh boy. Here we go.

Is Kawada/Misawa still the standard?
CheesalaIsGood replied to JustJoe2k5's topic in General Wrestling
So does anybgody have the Hokuto vs. Kandori match? My interest is peaked. -
I think anything that undermines authority is a good thing. So fuck the ban and fuck the MAN!
-
Isn't this Banky guy the kid who gets banned, fronts like he doesn't care, only to come back still pretending to not care? I've never spoken to him and I don't recall any of his posts. Though I have read many posts about him. Down with Pauly Shore and he can take Paul Reiser with him.

Batista and Booker T get into a fight?
CheesalaIsGood replied to CheesalaIsGood's topic in The WWE Folder
http://www.wwe.com/inside/news/20034101 Booker T sets the record straight May 9, 2006 “It was simply about respect, that’s all.” Booker T, sporting a swollen left eye, commenting exclusively to WWE.com about the bloody and brutal fight he had with former World Heavyweight Champion Batista on the set of the SummerSlam commercial Monday in Encino, Calif. It took a number of SmackDown Superstars to pull Batista and Booker T off one another in a fight that lasted at least five minutes. “I’m not going to say anything else about it. The fight had to do with respect,” says Booker. “I have no ill will toward Dave, but I feel like he doesn’t know the history of the business that’s all. Maybe he should study the history. There’s a lot of us who paved the way in this business for men like Batista,” says Booker. “When I started, guys like Greg Gagne, Dusty Rhodes, Ric Flair, Arn Anderson and countless others were in WCW. I walked in the locker room and had to earn their respect. It took me 16 long years, but I earned it. Respect isn’t a right, it’s a privilege.” When asked if the two men have buried the hatchet, Booker T pointedly says, “We’ll never be friends. We’ll never exchange Christmas cards. But I will work with Dave in the ring like nothing ever happened. It’s not about us, it’s about the company and more importantly it’s about entertaining the fans. I’ll never do anything to hurt our product.” WWE.com is attempting to reach Batista for more on this situation. MMkay. -
http://www.wwe.com/inside/news/2718720 Fight breaks out at SummerSlam commercial shoot May 8, 2006 SmackDown Superstars Batista and Booker T got into a knockdown, drag-out fight Monday afternoon on the set of World Wrestling Entertainment’s SummerSlam commercial shoot in Encino, California. Director of WWE Television Promotions, John Gaburick, tells WWE.com the fight broke out during the filming of a scene in the commercial which will be used to promote SummerSlam later this year. “The fight lasted at least five minutes, it was a brutal, bloody, vicious affair,” says Gaburick. “It took JBL, Mark Henry, Chris Benoit, Finlay and road agent Ricky Steamboat to finally break things up.” Gaburick says, “Both men were banged up pretty good, both men were bloodied up.” After the fight, Booker T and Batista went behind closed doors to try and clear the air. Gaburick says both Booker T and Batista finished their required work on the commercial before leaving the set. When asked what the fight was about, Gaburick would only say “it’s a personal issue between two men.” The SummerSlam commercial was filmed Sunday using RAW Superstars and Monday using SmackDown competitors. Ok. Work or shoot?

I'm not sure I have an opinion on this topic. Sorry. -
I look forward to being on neither list.

Well said. I could not agree more. My jaw was on the ground over some of things he said while the people he was talking about were IN the room. With the Wilsons in the room it could not have been too good a night for some people. Who gives a fuck if their feelings got hurt. On this night comedy hurt as almost as much as a suicide bomber.

I use DOR2 for simming. I really only use my CAWs and whatever WWE guys that happen to be no longer with the company. You know, for copyright reasons.
