  1. It's in Japan. Frost is in Japan. That's all I'm saying.
  2. No, but I sure didn't recognize fellow Heavenly Body TOM PRITCHARD when he came back all shorn as Zip.
  3. Blanchard was a face in his match against Stan Lane at Heroes of Wrestling. I believe Pedro Morales worked as a heel in the AWA.
  4. See, Heenan hated the nWo because he hated Hogan. That was true to his character. He would occaisionally give Nash, Hall and other guys dap, but never Hogan. Early on, I remember Heenan playing up the fact that he was right after all these years about Hogan being a jerk and people should apologize to him.
  5. Ok, Heyman managed RANDY ROSE in WCW.
  6. 3 hour iron man match between Ranger Ross and a wrestling bear.
  7. Tito Santana was a heel in the short lived ATW in the mid ninties after he left the WWF. Jimmy Garvin was a face in the late eighties, teaming with his "brother" Ronnie and having a very memorable match with Ric Flair where his valet was on the line. Nick Bockwinkle was occaisionally a face in the AWA when needed. I believe he was face between taking the belt off of Verne and feuding with Hogan. I have Smokey Mountain's "Night of Legends" where Terry Gordy is a face and I want to say that I've seen him wrestle face at other times too, including during the Free Birds now and again face stints in WCW. Big John Studd was a face before he retired.
  8. I like Garner and the son talking in the bedroom. That hole bit about working things out in your own way is so very true when you're a teenage boy dealing with death. I've lived through that. And then how Garner keeps fixing every little thing wrong is a subtle way of illustrating him doing the same. I really thought James Garner was very good and do hope he continues on with the show.
  9. I like the concept of life going on and with that little bits of everyday humor. If you've ever gone through such a tramatic death in your life, you know everything just doesn't stop and even the most mundane humore can lighten you up. I too don't like the grandparents' bickering. It feels too tacked on, but I like what Pleshette and Garner are doing outside of that.
  10. who had JORGE ESTRADA for a lackey
  11. I mark huge for James Garner and Suzanne Pleshette is very underrated. I think they both make for a nice stop gap in helping the series find itself.
  12. Thank you very much Downhome. I am indebted to you greatly.
  13. Thank you very much Downhome. I am indebted to you greatly.
  14. Ask him if he has any more books coming out and if the response to "Iron Joe Bob" was good enough for him to do more books in that vain that aren't film related. Ask what he thinks of Kinky Friedman. See why MonsterVision was canceled. Ask him about the time Roddy Piper was on the show. Ask him if he would go back to hosting a show if the offer turned up and would he prefer high end cable like his first show on The Movie Channel that would allow him to show unedited films with more boobs. Good lord do I love Joe Bob Briggs. Edwin, you rule more now that ever before. Give him my undying love and tell him to read my column on 411. TELL HIM! MAKE HIM! FORCE HIM! Ask him if he really like Old Mil or does he drink good beer when not on t.v.
  15. Jeannie on the show wasn't so much dumb as she was naive. She was locked up in a bottle for over 2000 years and, of course, as basically a slave to her "master" she didn't have to be all that smart. They are going to need one hell of a comedic actor as Major Nelson to carry this thing. They'll probably get Ashton Kutcher. Fuck him.
  16. And I've read that Texas fans chanted "We Want Rod!" when MIL MASCARAS made a special appearance at a show a few years ago. That's just sad.
  17. Most of you probably know that I write the Q&A movies column for 411. I got an email this week asking to identify a movie and I've racked and researched my brains out and haven't had much luck. If you think you might know what it is, please give the name and whatever else you can remember. I will credit you in my column this coming Monday. Thanks. Any help would be great. Email below: I remember watching this horror movie in the 80's when I was a kid. I know this is kind of vague, but all I could remember of it was the ending. A woman falls from a balcony, and an overhead camera shot shows her spinning and spinning down onto the ground. This lasts for a minute at least, I think. And as she is spiraling down, her hair gets greyer, and she just gets older, and I think she eventually turns into a skeleton. I can't remember what this movie was called or what it was about. Could you please give me some information about this movie? It's been bothering me for a long time!! thanks!
  18. Melvin Van Horn What is the name of the Springfield junk yard?
  19. I wanted to watch that too and forgot it was on. NBC's was ok for the most part. My favorite segment being Robert Culp and Bill Cosby having a conversation of in-jokes and personal slang that no one understood. ABC's I thought was rather blah.
  20. not his most embarrassing Wrestlemania moment either, that would be painting himself half black to face BAD NEWS BROWN.
  21. who had a cup of coffe in the WWE jobbing to DEAD MAN INC.
  22. Psycho (1960) The Exorcist Halloween (choice) Night of the Living Dead (1968)
  23. During another celebrity millionaire Regis talked Drew Carey out of going for the million dollar question too. I think it was who was the first quarterback to say "I'm going to DisneyLand" after the Superbowl. Carey's a big football fan and he knew it was either Joe Montana or Phil Simms, I believe, and Regis just told him to forget and walk, which he did. Carey then said he was pretty sure it was Simms and it was.
  24. who uses the shining wizard knee as a finisher, popularized by THE GREAT MUTA, to us yanks.
  25. who won that when BOBBY EATON fucked up and hit Larry with the turnbuckle pin.
