See young Thoth...perhaps you should wait. I assure you, the stock thing was necessary...first of all, to bring Thugg back, for there would be very little reason for King to "allow" him back, and second of all...well, that'll come in due time and then you will understand why it was necessary. Also, no one but a very few of us know about the old times, so using that stuff all the basis of a feud isn't a great idea....also, the stock thing is a means to an end in that it allows us to bring back some old heat because it gives Thugg a reason to return. And I'll go ahead and concede that the whole illegal stock hording by King is somewhat unrealistic....and that wasn't something we planned...it just got written. It goes to show you that I know very little about that stuff, so I just figured "meh" it's wrestling....it's fine. Apparently one person had a problem with it. Da "blah, blah, blah" H

Ok...to address some of you...I can promise you that we will not be opening up the nominations totally for all categories, which is to say that we will not have people public nominate people for every category. Number one, that will just get plain ugly. Number two, there would be no surprises on Awards Day. Number 3, some of the categories are no-brainers and don't need to take nominations from everyone. However, what we've been talking about in CC a bit is having some nominations being open such as Match of the Year and the like since even between the four or five of us, we can't really remember all the matches that happened all year long. And I just thought of an idea...what if we kind of have some selected individuals form a committee or something for some award nominations. Maybe...it's an idea. Maybe selecting 2 or 3 people who CC thinks can come up with good noms for the harder categories... I dunno...just an idea. Da "glad there's interest" H

Actually...we did that for some categories last year Judge. I think for the wrestler of hte year, best champion stuff...the nominations are relatively obvious...but where we have trouble is on match stuff where we have to pick the best match of the year and stuff like that. If you remember, we opened that up to the fed to come up with nominations to help us out...and we'd probably do something like that this year if we get into a situation where we can't think of more. It's certainly an idea to do it for all the categories...but I think Z has a point about that which is that there would be no suspense then. Everyone would know who was going to win each category based on the replies of the nomination thread...because if 9 people nominate Danny for ICTV Champ of the year, then chances are....he's gonna win no matter who we narrow it down to. Oh...and to clarify...when i say write the show...dont' think I wrote some long drawn out thing. I just organized the comments with the results and posted that. I wouldn't dream of writing a whole show by myself...you must be out your damn mind. Da "yeah, right...like my lazy ass would do that" H

Actually Z...I'm all for doing it the same way we did it last year with CC making noms and the fed voting. I just heard a ton of bitching last year, so I wanted to see if there was interest, and if anyone else had good ideas of a way to do it. As for me doing it by myself...I didn't do the noms by myself...everyone in CC worked on that together...and this is when Edwin and company were doing the JL. I wasn't even close to qualified to make the noms since I wasn't very active in the fed at the time. What I meant by myself is that I started the ball rolling and was kind of the overseer of it. I got CC together to do noms...i posted the noms...I counted the ballots, and I wrote the show. That's what I meant by doing it by myself. I'll probably still be the overseer since this will be my third year doing it and I have a system of sorts, but I planned to have CC come up with the nominations...not myself. Cause then Danny Williams will win every award, including best female, high-flying, hoss award. That is unless CC doesn't want me to oversee the process, at which point I will crawl back into my cave. Da "doesn't assume he's that great as to be able to come up with the noms himself" H

Last year, CC came up with nominees for all the categories, and everyone in the fed (either active, not active, lurker, or retiree) voted via PM ballot on who they think should win. We also allowed people to write in a vote for each category just in case they felt someone was deserving but didn't get nominated. And, we had people send in comments on why they voted that way so that we could post comments about the winners when the show went up. Da "does that clear it up?" H

Well, I've done the end of the year awards the last two years. I'd be happy to do it again for everyone, but last year, I got a ton of negative responses to the way it was run, the voting, the nominations, and the awards show itself. Therefore, I'm not going to do it this year unless people prove to me that it is wanted and appreciated. It takes a damn long time to come up with nominations for all the categories, count the ballots, and write up the awards show...and this year, I'm actually writing for the fed, so time is even more limited. But I WILL do it if people want it...but if not, then no. Also, if people say they want it this year, and when it comes around they just bitch about it...it will be the last and final year of the awards show. I'll make a separate topic about this with a poll for people to show their interest. Da "not gonna waste his time again" H

As far as the show rating, no...there doesn't seem to be a system, but we would have beaten them if I had been posting stuff like I was a few weeks back. And, Cast, you're going to be me because there's litte shot of me actually showing up for that. Hell, I didn't show up for the first round...I don't know why I got to continue. I don't really have time for that right now...not with work busting my ass and I'm averaging 4 or 5 promos a show over here, with this last show being the first where I wrote under 4. Oh, and whoever that was that mentioned writing for the JL...by all means, do it. I don't think you're allowed to post on the news or columns threads, but if you send them to me, I will post them for you. And anyone else that writes something...we don't need to plan this out...just write. The more we write, the better off we'll be. There doesn't need to be some grand scheme about who will write and how and when...just write. Da "but King will be mad if active people write columns but not matches" H

Teeter? Please, tell me what other things in the angle make it "teeter"? I knew about the legal implications of what I wrote, but I made a command decision that it just didn't matter because it's wrestling, and they do things that aren't' realistic all the time. Also, I don't think I said HOW it happened...and with King being the super smart heel, he could find a loop hole. The point is...I put that in there knowing it was illegal, but deciding that since it's fake anyway, it didn't really matter. What else is wrong with this angle? Da "???" H

You can't post them in the Results Folder because you have to be a fed head to do that. However, I can do it for you if you'd like to send it to me...otherwise, if you don't wanna go through a middle man, you'll have to ask Mcl where to put them. Annoyingly, if you don't put it in the right folder, he'll yell at you and either move or delete it. It's however you wanna do it. I'm gonna let King, Mark, or Edwin send you rosters... Da "..." H
