  1. I have all my picks lined up plus some alternates in case someone picks something on my list.
  2. Why not just NOT run the trailer out of frame?
  3. I'm a relatively decent guitar player. I like to think I'd be really good if I could read music.
  4. Neither Taylor or Jordin sniffed B3. Taylor's career has gone nowhere and they're really trying hard to push Jordin but I'm not sure anyone really cares about her outside of Idol. Jordan was in the bottom three during the semi-finals once. I think it was the top 20 week.
  5. Yeah, that was the most depressing South Park ever.
  6. I agree. Archulater just can't get the girls crying like Sanjaya.
  7. Medium, but I have no problem eating medium rare.
  8. I'm sure Ben was there at the time as well, maybe he could shed some light. Anywho, not a great episode, not sure if I like the ending. I'll hold off until the next episode before I weigh in on that, though. At least we get the skivvy on Mike all at once. All in all, an unspectacular but productive episode.
  9. Maybe it's just that they only do episodes about the stuff they feel the opposite on. Who wants to see a South Park episode that amounts to Trey & Matt saying "Yeah, us too!"?
  10. Clearly I disagree.
  11. "Illinois" by Sufjan Stevens Half my time on the island could be spent just reading through the paragraph-long song titles on this thing. I actually only discovered the album relatively recently, but I fell hard for it as soon as I heard "Chicago" and "Casimir Pulaski Day." There actually isn't a lot I can say about it other than that it's one of my favorite albums of the past ten years.
  12. It's not on Thursday. It'll be, among other places, on the Loop somewhere around 4pm on Saturday. I'm going.
  13. Guess I'm up, then. "Joe's Garage" by Frank Zappa Without a doubt my favorite Frank Zappa album. Like The Wall, it tells a great story but works just as well listening to the songs on their own. Wet T-Shirt Nite, A Token of My Extreme, Outside Now, and He Used to Cut the Grass in particular are great songs. Information is not knowledge. Knowledge is not wisdom. Wisdom is not truth. Truth is not beauty. Beauty is not love. Love is not music. Music is THE BEST...
  14. Never saw one live in person, first one I ordered was Wrestelmania 2000 along with the Wrestlemania All Day Long feature. Ah, the days when $50 got you 12 hours of WWF pay-per-view instead of 2 hours and 15 minutes...
  15. I know. It's just fun to keep bringing it up.
  16. Shit. Same thing happened with that song "Unwritten." It's not a bad song, I liked listening to it. But then it got played over and over again in every chick flick trailer and makeup commercial. Fortunately I've only heard it I think in one trailer so far.
  17. Oh, sure, put Mayweather in the ring with the only (living) guy in the WWE to kill someone.
  18. Didn't Michael go by the name Kevin Johnson?
  19. Aye, ZP's good stuff. I think my favorites are Jericho, Guitar Hero 3, and the Game Developers Choice Awards. Although I like the Orange Box review if only because I like Portal and people positively reviewing things that I like.
  20. I watched an episode of Degrassi: TNG once. It was goofy and some guy got his friend to run for class president against his sister (?) as a joke. Seemed like a typical Early Boy Meets World type comedy to me. Then a few years later I watched it with the girl I was dating, who watched it a lot. The guy's friend had started dating the sister and got her pregnant or something and they broke up and everybody on the show was miserable and depressed and the guy, instead of getting back together with the girl like the episode seemed to be headed towards, got killed by some guy outside a party. I'm positive they were the same show, I just don't know what the hell happened.
  21. I bought it the day it came out. Good stuff, and the commentary is actually pretty good for as long as it lasts. They gave some interesting insight to the pervious incarnations of the Imaginationland ideas.
  22. if the tombstone said 1980, then Sun should be 27 or 28. I'm 24 and I was born in 1983, but my birthday isn't until November. So depending on her actual birthday date, she should be 27 or 28. It is me or does it seem the flash forward timeline is going backwards? Also, what does the 2722 on the tombstone mean? She'd be 27 or 28 now. In 2004 she would've been 23 or 24.
