Yeah, but omg it's Rob Zombie and he's gonna make it all gory n' shit! Except part of what made the original great was that it relied heavily on building tension and being suspenseful instead of schlock gore like Friday the 13th did. Taking Halloween and making it super gory has been done before, it's called 90% of the horror genre in the late 70's and 80's.

I hope they do with Grindhouse what they did with Sin City and have an audience track. They should've done that with Snakes on a Plane, too, but in this case it's at least still the people who did Sin City so it's more likely.

This is one of the few times I've come out of a movie and couldn't wait to see it again. They messed up with the theater labeling and sent a lot of people to the wrong screen, and we ended up getting in just in time for the previews, and ended up getting vouchers for free tickets out of it (despite the fact that we saw the thing in its entirety. Plus, I got the tickets for free in the first place), and I'd totally consider using the vouchers to see Grindhouse again.

After all the acclaim the show's gotten and all the buildup of the end of The Sopranos, the ending is either going to be unimaginably awesome or a big disappointment. Not really much of a middle ground since anything that isn't unimaginably awesome is automatically a disappointment, IMO.

I mean, I could've done without it, but it didn't bother me to any significant degree.

I hear Machete is getting made into a full-length movie. Maybe they could do the same for Thanksgiving and Werewolf Women of the SS

Man, I expected this to be the kind of movie where watching it on DVD wouldn't be the same, but it's not even funny how different it would be. I'm not sure which one I liked better. I think if Death Proof had been first, the feature as a whole would've been better.

Ok, I admit he's not a great actor, but I wouldn't go so far as to call him horrible either.
