I don't understand why they would release the Dudley Boyz, unless they just flat out plan to can the tag division, which I wouldn't really care if they did or not by this point. The Dudley Boyz was the best tag team they had, when you factor in both talent and the "big name" factor. This one pisses me off the most, but it's not surprising since they let Spike go just a while earlier. As for some of the others, I don't understand why they would let people go before actually trying to see what they could really do. Most of the ones that have been fired were never truly given a chance to shine, yet they keep people for years and years who they always try to push, yet it never works out for them.

This is all great news, but I wouldn't go so far as to say that Smackdown NEEDS him now. Before the draft, sure, but now? They have Batista, Booker T, Taker, Orton, Benoit, Christian, JBL, Hassan, etc... I'd say SD is looking pretty good right now. That said, I do think Brock would be a better fit for SD. I'm just saying they don't really "need" him anymore. I can't wait for him to show up though, it should be a lot of fun to see.

Wow! Spike is the most shocking so far. I figured that he'd be with the company for many, many years.

I picked this up the other day and wanted to play it for a while before I posted about it. When I first played it, I don't think I really got the point of it. I didn't really see what the big deal was, so I put it down for about a day. I finally decided to get into it and see just what the hype is about and I flat out forced myself to play it and to get the hang of it. I shouldn't have done that, because now I'm hooked. I haven't enjoyed a puzzle game this much since the original Tetris. I know many said that, but it's the truth. It's a perfect puzzle game really, since you can either sit down and play a quick game that lasts just 3-5 minutes, or you can get so involved in it that hours pass you by before you know it. My only fault with it is that I haven't figured out how to have long "matches". I don't even think it's possible to be honest, but that's ok. It wouldn't be the same if you could just go on and on and on, at least not to me. The point here is to have fast action, action that gets so fast and insane that you eventually can't really keep up. Has anyone else here picked this one up yet?

Exactly. It reminds me a little bit of the HHH/Steph, errr...HHH/Jericho feud.
-
Thanks for making my point. The entire feud has been about Lita, and only Lita. The entire point is Kane vs Lita. Edge just happens to be the guy that she left Kane for. They don't focus on the Kane/Edge factor, they haven't really dont that at all other than the actual in-ring work. It's been all about Kane/Lita, it's been a Kane/Lita feud from the start, and Edge just happened to be in the middle of it to get squashed...jobbing clean in the end.
-
And I could argue that, especially after the PPV where Edge lost clean, that it's been mainly about Kane/Lita and NOT Kane/Edge. I don't remember Kane cornering Edge in the back saying he was going to cut off HIS breathing, or whatever the hell Kane said.
-
How exactly did Edge job CLEAN? Where was Lita when he was getting pinned? I didn't bother to watch the last PPV. I see Edge as someone that they like to tease as going all the way, just for the hell of it, but they don't feel like pulling the trigger on him. He'll go through a period where he looks really strong, then it all just falls apart...and I'm not just talking about the gimmick of him not being able to reach the top. There have been better wrestlers than Edge who never won a world title. I just don't see why he should even be allowed to. I wouldn't be shocked to see WWE bring in Hardy to take on Edge at SummerSlam, and went ahead with Cena/Jericho for the same show.
-
I don't understand what momentum Edge has. Sure he has that damn contract, but what does that matter if he isn't going to use it anytime soon? In my eyes, Lita is the one with momentum, and I agree that sucks. I don't look at it like Edge/Kane, I just see Lita/Kane. Edge is nothing more than a pawn that Lita is using to get back at Kane, at least in my eyes. I'll just never buy Edge as any sort of force in the singles rank. If the Jericho/Cena segment on RAW didn't convince people that THAT is the feud that could truly be hot, then I don't know what will.
-
I'd rather Nidia be in WWE than Jackie. That girl had the right spunk to be an actual force at ringside, she had character, something different. They never should have ended the Noble/Nidia relationship.
-
Cena/Edge OR Cena/Jericho You'd have to be a complete moron not to know for a FACT that Cena/Jericho is the way to really go. Therefore, we'll get Cena/Edge. I wish Edge would just get cut.
-
Yeah...it's too bad almost all of the tits in that segment were fake.
-
I doubt Stevie and Dean will be going anywhere either...
-
I'd like to see the reaction of people if they cut a huge name, like Benoit, Orton, or HBK.
-
It wouldn't shock me to see Charlie get kicked to the curb, but I hope that doesn't happen. I doubt Holly will ever be fired. If it hasn't happened by now, I just don't see it happening.
-
Even the ones you have mentioned are obvious picks to me. I think guys like Holly, Venis, and the sort are the ones we should look at...and I think both of them are perfectly safe.
-
I'm shocked at how great that show sounds also.
-
Did they even mention HHH on RAW tonight?
-
I know "casual" fans who have no clue why the fans still chant and call out for Matt Hardy. They have no idea why his music played a few weeks ago. They think it's only because Lita and him were together on TV for that period of time, not because of the real situation. I agree though, the Meanie/JBL thing is something that most just wont understand at all. I need a confirmation that this report is real. It looks like something someone who hacked the site might post just to get the internet fans excited.
-
If this is true... How many casual fans really know about this situation, or even give a shit about it? I mean...really. I'm very excited if this is true, don't get me wrong, but it makes me wonder just why they are doing it. It's odd for WWE to do something like this. It would be like bringing Matt Hardy back to feud with Edge. Either way, I can't wait! *stops reading the spoilers now*

You can have the serious and focused meshed with cocky. I don't mean have him act like he used to, I doubt we'll ever see that again. He just needs to be obviously different than how he's been for the past few years. He needs an edge back, and he needs it now. I think Hogan/HBK could come across like it truly means something, and could get over huge, but only if they do it just right. The match should be interesting with an active crowd, if not great. I sense MJ coming back for this as well. Like someone suggested earlier, I could see him helping HBK beat Hogan.
-
I want them to back a decade or two instead of forward. Best of the 70's, 60's.
-
I'm all for that, but for the love of God, please let's have a cocky HBK again. He is so stale as a face, and a heel character where he remains the same, only he fights the faces, just will not work. He doesn't have to be full-blown DX HBK, he'd look pretty stupid like that if you ask me, but he needs to at least bring back his cocky side, as well as acting being totally heelish. I don't want Christian-HBK turned heel only because of what he did tonight.
-
Oh my God that is too much. Finally a gimmick that is so fucking stupid, I love it. They had Chavo turn into a white guy, just great. They forgot to change the "Chavo Fact" though.
-
That is the best heel turn in years people, YEARS! Hogan is doing the same old routine, HBK seems to be doing it with him as usual, the music is going, the crowd is pumped, then BAM! HBK has a cold look on his face. Hogan is knocked out. The music has stopped playing The crowed is dead, confused as fuck, as well as pissed. The show goes off on such a down note. And on top of that, hardly ANYONE expected that tonight. I know I sure didn't.
