I must say Adware/Viruses are becoming disturbing. I got one that popped up kiddie porn on my fucking computer. I fucking freaked out and pretty much got a new computer (which was needed anyway), but I'm afraid to get the old, treasured filed off my old computer. I actually think I got rid of it, with a million different programs, but once they were through my C drive, necessary dll files were delted. How scary is that? It pretty much scarred me.

Strong Bad completely losing his shit is gold. Brings a little bit more of the villainous edge. BTW, been a H*R fan forever and have read all the emails, but my favourite char is fast becoming Homestar himself, what are some classic Homestar emails? I have a terrible memory.

Kefka may be a little 2-dimentional, but damn if he doensn;t go all the way with craziness and love for killing. Sephiroth is one of the first characters who went straight from angsty to straight nihilistic villainy, which was refreshing at the time. Often if a villain has their villainy explained, it goes so far into 'poor guy' that you become ambivalent. Sephiroth is sorta like the Joker in that he was an ok guy, had a bad day, and was too weak to handle it. He's a good foil for Cloud, since he has extraordinary physical powers, and limited moral strength, while Cloud is a fairly ordinary guy with pretty extraordinary will (if you think about it.). BTW, Kuja was the biggest attempt of a company to duplicate previous success with a character ever. He was EXACTLY Sephiroth, except for more effeminate.

He (Sephiroth) was broody and crazy and looked cool; had a cool sword too. He's not a bad character per se, but he is wildly overrated. He also had last boss music that may be the best song in a game to date. Also, SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS As if anyone didn't know, he killed a major character in pretty dramatic fashion. Though she's overrated too. Agreed Jowy is a tremendous character, but Luca is the shit in terms of pure villainy. Kefka and Galleon are the only other villains I'd put up on the pedestal with him.

I mostly find it insane that Bush spends SO MUCH MONEY. If there's a Republican in office, I at least want him to cut some programs so I can selfishly get a little kickback.

I really, really, hope this is the shit. Final Fantasy VII was one of the most successful games of all time, and it looks like they're trying to do it justice. People gripe (and rightly so) about square making shitty games *comparitively*, but they have been careful about this franchise. here's hoping they make a full-fledged pre/sequel.

SNES: Lufia II, FFIV&VI, Chrono, Star Ocean, tales of Phantasia, Bahamut Lagoon. Zelda 3, Terranigma, Soul Blazer, Illusion of Gaea. PSX: Valkyrie Profile, FFVII, FF Tactics, Suikoden I&II, Xenogears (If you like 50/50 story game), Alundra (if you're a challenge freak) Both Lunars, Arc the Lad collection (particularly for II) DC: Skies of Arcadia PS2: FFX, Kingdom Hearts, Disgaea, La Pucelle, I hear Shadow Hearts is really good but haven't played it. You know it's sad, looking at the # of RPGs released on the PS2, and there haven't been many great ones.

Chrono. FFVII-2 Valkyrie Profile (didn't know there was so much love for this great game on the board.) Lufia Anachronox (Great game with a non-ending, then they broke up because [ion Storm I think?] made zero good games besides this.) I want a new frequency/amplitude now. A new GOOD chapter in Suikoden. They turned one of the best RPG series ever into crap instantly with the truly mediore Suikoden III. Is there any reason they couldn't have cranked out THIS series for infinity and kept people happy? They went from quick battles+epic but realtively simple storyline to boring battles+relativiley convoluted storyline. Most deserving action titles seem to get follow-ups.

I know it's a movie. Don't think I would start a thread if I didn't know that. With this and their mini-prequel on the cell phones, though, I hope it creates enough momentum for a full fledged gaming addition to the FFVII universe. Do you really think FFVII is all movie? it's like 1/5-1/4 story sequences, if we're talking the Xeno series, I'd understand. FFVII had gobs of gameplay and a good story to back it up.

Christ, they're both rich, but saying taxing the wealthy is unneeded because they dodge it anyway is so counterintuitive, it makes my giant brain want to explode.

So what do you think? I don't think many will debate my first and second choices, but I am very intrigued to hear others' opinions. Here's my picks 1. Batman- Come on, Joker's probably the best villain ever, and then you have two-face, catwoman, grundy, scarecrow, riddler, clayface, r'as, Shiva. all around good stuff. 2. X-Men- Mags, Dark Phoenix, Apocalypse and sinister, various brotherhood, Including Big daddy joggs, onslaught, etc 3- Spider-Man- Venom, various gobs, Kraven, Lizard, Doc Oc Carnage (ugh) and miriad others. 4- JLA - Darkseid, luthor, Doomsday, parralex, amazo 5- Avengers - Ultron, MOE, Red Skull, Um, my ignorance of comics is starting to show, So? opinions? 4- JLA

Motherfuckin' Bomberman. Street Fighters are gold. Contra 3 for sure. FFIII is multiplayer, and it ain't so grat in that aspect, except it's like one of the top 10 games ever. I wish Shadowrum was multiplayer. Oh!Oh! and Goemon Legend of the Mystical ninja isn't a super game, but it's really fun if you have friend.

You mean Luca Blight? 'Cause he's probably the best game villain ever. Certainly the most vicious. Of course, the fact that Suikoden II is so rare it fetches$80+ may be a factor, when everyone has played ct. I still get shivers when I see that cinema which shows Blight atop a hill of bodies, zoom in: craziest elated death face of doom ever!

I want a candidate who is small govmt. We haven't had one in a while, and I will sacrifice my liberal socail standpoints for someone like that, since social issues are: slow moving and largely decided by the courts.

Gotta say, the Love Hina anime is better, 'sides the ending. $16-17 of your disposable income is the norm here, i think.
