I always thought it was because he went to the Rings organization. Or maybe he went because of the reasons you mentioned. Whatever. -

AboveAverage484 replied to AboveAverage484's topic in Music

My DSL page load times is excruciatingly slow
AboveAverage484 replied to AboveAverage484's topic in Technology
That was the first thing I tried, Rant. What about "tweaking" web sites; do they help any at all? Edit: And did that guy who replied first get banned or something, cuz now all of a sudden he's unregistered? -
Bama. I'm mainly defensive oriented and run the ball 2/3 of the time. I don't really like the passing in NCAA as compared to Madden. In fact, I was making quite the comeback in that SC game. I scored a TD with about 30 seconds remaining to make it 17-14. I recovered the onside kick but when I got in field goal range I missed it. Damn!!!

What beverage are you drinking right now?
AboveAverage484 replied to AboveAverage484's topic in General Chat
No. -
Okay, here's the scoop: My internet's actual speed is fine; downloads are at normal speed, pictures and graphics load at normal times; but some pages take an agonizingly long time to load. (Thank God this page isn't one of them.) Some take so long to load up that my screen will freeze for about 30 seconds or so until the page loads. This has been happening the last couple weeks and it's really drivin' me nuts! Help, please! Edit: Yes, I know that the "is" in the title should be an "are", I just noticed it.
-
Lost 17-14 to South Carolina, cuz my field goal kicker sucks, he missed three in the damn game. Rebounded the next week with a 29-0 blowout of Kentucky.
-
Beat Arkansas 14-7. My defense kicks ass, number one in the nation. Now if only I can get the offense going...

AboveAverage484 replied to AboveAverage484's topic in General Chat
Are we related or something? I love me some Arctic apple Kool-Aid AND IBC Root Beer. -
Two people in a row who liked Risk? Wow!
-
Coma would be better if it was like five minutes shorter, but the last two minutes of the song kick ass!
-
Dr. Pepper, can #3 for the day. Hey, I'm on vacation, I can spoil myself.
-
OMG EAGAN!@!@! BAN PLZ!@@!@# Uhhhh... +1 Bizkit sucks.
-
Week 3: Beat Ole Miss 14-7. Week 4: Beat Western Carolina 31-0. I can deal with a mediocre passing game as long as the defense keeps kicking ass like it has been.
-
Started one with Alabama today. Week 1 was a bye. Week 2 I beat Utah State 27-0, and Ahmad Galloway rushed for 167 yards. Still need to get passing down though, cuz every new football game I have to get used to it again. And is it just me or does anyone else prefer the passing in Madden as opposed to NCAA? How long of quarters does everyone play with? Me and my pals usually play with 5 minutes which is long enough to feel like an actual game and actually make some progress in a season.
-
You know another Megadeth song that kicks tons of ass? Tornado of Souls, easily one of their top five best songs. I don't ever listen to "These Boots" so I really don't care, in fact the only song I ever listen to off of Killing... anymore is "Mechanix." Go ahead and scold me.

Ate dinner with Sean O'Haire tonight...
AboveAverage484 replied to AboveAverage484's topic in General Wrestling
Right now he's living in Hilton Head, SC, but he's staying in Charlotte and coming up to Statesville to train for a little while. Not to brag or anything, but the Muay Thai gym in Statesville is one of, if not, the best Muay Thai gyms on the east coast. Another cool thing to note, Sean said he wrote all of the "devil's advocate" skits from a while back (remember: "I'm not already telling you anything you don't already know"?). Pretty cool. -

AboveAverage484 replied to AboveAverage484's topic in General Wrestling
Actually, he's expressed an interest in fighting in K-1 or UFC, which is why he's training at the gym. He did talk about doing a show in Japan, but I didn't catch what promotion he was working for. -
Sean O'Haire has started training at my Muay Thai gym at Statesville. I haven't watched much WWE, so I don't know if he's still under contract with them. Anyway, after class tonight me, my trainer, Sean and another friend ate at a local steakhouse and he's a pretty cool and personable guy. I met his brother as well last year at a Tough Man contest in Mooresville, NC; Shane O'Haire. He won the heavyweight bracket, but I lost by decision in my first match Well, don't know if any of you guys care too much, but I thought it would be cool to say I've got a friend that is(was) a WWE wrestler.
