Well, there is that too. That's about my only complaint. Is everyone should have a shot at the playoffs as you say. I mean, a lot of teams in our league didn't hit their strides in getting a good team until late. My team's proof point of that. Then again we also had a lot of ugliness this past NBA season (injuries, stars playing sub-par, sub-par guys showing to be stars) that probably made this a lot weirder than it should've been.

I'd be glad if you did Al. At least you'd be deserving of it. Since I've been on a hell of a hot streak to the finish. Hopefully though, I can squeak this series and that last spot into the Consolation playoffs. I think Yahoo should go to a 12 player tourney, except all 12 make the playoffs. Top 4 make the playoffs and get a bye for the first round. Round One: 12th vs. 11th -> A 10th vs. 9th -> B Round Two: A vs. 8th -> C B vs. 7th -> D Round Three (and continue the playoffs as normal): D vs. 1st 3th vs. 5th 4th vs. 6th C vs. 2nd ~ I mean, killing an extra two weeks wouldn't be a bad thing.

Had a game against the Mets with Leiter as the starter. My first true test and I just about hacked it. I won the game 3-2, but I really played stupidily as I made a mound visit because Livan Hernadez was pitching kinda poorly, yes, I know, that's me, but still, I coughed up 2 and my health was down to 89% after 2 innings. Problem was the bastard took it negatively and dropped to 79% and made me have to yank him early, stick in a reliever in the sixth. Needless to say the only reason why I won the game was Batista was kind enough to chalk one up. And needless to say right after I mention James was my Trappers All-Star, the bastard only hits 1-4 last game against the 51s. I still won that game 6-2, but I kinda don't think the Trappers can win without him. Oh well, I picked up Werth for the Trappers, so I think they'll have some solid hitting now.

Well, I purchased MVP. Gotta say I'm liking the micro managing aspect. Quite fun. My Edmonton Trappers are dominating the PCL though. With hitter Edward James (CF, #91) hitting 18 RBIs, 3HR in six games down in the minors, he's just smoking teams along. He's pretty much single handly winning my games down there, as my team is 6-0 because of him. My Montreal Expos aren't doing half bad either. I'm doing pretty well. I'm 5-0 and doing very well batting wise. Hopefully I can keep it up.

The more or less of it is he decided to start up a fight with a mod. When he was asked to quit, he didn't, because as he had stated (in a thread that was in this folder, before someone deleted it) that he didn't know rule TSM #8 and didn't really take it into heart when he was told about it and accused same mod about adding the rule into there just to ban Eagan. I directed that to Z and Thoth because Z told me to tell Thoth that so I did. Hence I thought I had that settled. Had I known I needed to talk to you, GS, I would've. I'm not mad or anything, but my mouth just crashed to the floor when I read that stip and saw my name attatched. All I could think of was "...this...is...yah..." Hence why I needed a day to get over the stupidifiedness that I was in. I kinda was like "ok, maybe they thought giving me a silly match was the way to ease me into things". Definitely getting the ol' juice thingy in my head going again. Please don't think I'm mad at you, Z or Thoth, I'm not really. Just don't know if I'll be able to make something that is deserving of the stip.

First to get it out of the way, I'll just say that two goalie system can work, but it is rare and you practically need the two goalies to be best of buddies so that when the other one jumps in, it isn't the goalie who was replaced thinking, "dammit, I did pretty damn shitty." But rather "ok, I fucked up, I'm not doing so great, however, I know my pal can get the job done for tonight. I'll back him up and bail him out when he needs it." However to get the above to happen is RARE. I think the only place that it could've happen was with Roy and Aebisher, since it was a student and teacher relationship going there. As for unprovens, I slightly disagree with nl. Raycroft: Will do pretty damn great, probably carry his team on his back to the third round. If he gets the team mostly behind him. Kiprusoff: Kippy is pretty much going to take the Flames far into the playoffs. I wouldn't be ashamed to say that Kippy could take them as far as the Stanley Cup. He's really coming into his own and showing off greatness. Considering what the Flames gave up to get Kippy, I bet the Sharks are kicking themselves in the asses. This guy's for real. Esche: I think he'll do good. He'll win a series at least to show he's reliable, but I have a feeling that he'll get pulled just because it is the freaking Flyers and they don't have mighty aspirations about their goalies. Aebisher: I think he's learned a hell of a lot from Roy and has shown that he can be dependable. My only worry was Colorado picking up Salo. I'm kinda feeling the same way I do with Esche, he flops just once, he'll be out till Salo fucks up. Vokoun: If the Preds get into the playoffs, I can see Vokoun doing some good things. I don't think he's as bad as everyone makes out, but at the same time, he isn't ready to get them far just yet. I can see him stretching a series out for a long time before a collapse (probably game 7). Conklin & Markannen: Why do I included these two? You never know, we might see them. Whilst Conklin has shown that he is dependable and clearly good enough to be a starter, Markannen is just about as good and frankly, we might see a Wild Goalie Situation here where the Oil use both goalies to backstop the nets. It'll be interesting to see who they choose and who they go with.

Ok, I've had a day to let it set in... Quick question to Z and Thoth: Just how exactly does this match I've been booked in for the 23rd result in being "eased back into things"? I ask you two since I'm quite sure I PMed you both stating this. Now then, my next question: Am I too assume that the purpose of this is to "beat" each game as it is on the show? Or is it till pinfall? Or does this play out via "best of three" kind of thing? Needless to say, I'll be working my ass off till Tuesday. I'll probably need every day to get this concept down.

My Reason: Haas hasn't really shown much stuff that has impressed me in any fashion that makes him standout to be something more than a midcarder or tag team partner. Yes, he's got a killer finisher, and yes, Haas is pretty damn good in the ring. Yet, his mannerisms and self charisma just don't "shine". It's kinda hard to explain that very well, but I just don't see anything in Haas that make HIM believe he's a star. That might just be due to the WWE though having him and Benjamin in the pits for the last long while though.

Must've been before the thread was deleted, because all he did in that thread was just apologize and state he was sorry and wished to have a second chance. That was all.

Ah cool, cool. So besides the quirks, it's a pretty damn good game. Nice. I'd so take some really bad team, like... Um... Um... Some team, and make them worth while.

It's Ty Conklin and Jussi Markannen (who came back to us apparently)... I don't get WHY we traded back for Jussi if we got rid of him in the first place, but whatever... I think Conklin will get the nod for starter though, just because he has shown (when Salo was injuried) that he was good enough to be starter. ...sadly, I don't know if that'll be enough to get us into the playoffs this season or next. Hopefully so, but not really sure.

Meh... I haven't recently seen what he can do. However, I was more impressed with Kippy than Turkey. I meant Turek. Turkey just seems to flow off the fingers so well. Maybe it's because it's because I haven't eaten in seven hours? Nah, I like the nickname. The Flaming Kippy-Turkey Combo will definitely help Calgary win the Cup this year. ...damn, that wasn't very punny at all.

Well, I don't want to rent, becuase if I do, I'm spending $20. ($10 for a week rental becuase I like to make sure I get my value's worth, then $3 there via bus, $3 back to go and to get back). Hence, I'd rather just buy one of the baseball games.

Due to my own stupidity, I downloaded EWR 4.0 and had a color commentator as a wrestler. So guess what happened? Yup, right. The dreaded "commentator gets injuried and so I got to PPV and the thing crashes and burns". So I had to restart up a new game and thus went my new diary. So because I'm so peeved off, I'm not doing a diary now. Period. I'll just work on a game. Currently playing a messed up scenario (created it and no, I'm not giving you it) where a shit load of Smackdown superstars left due to the bullshit on Raw this past week. So that means a lot of Smackdown superstars left and are free for the picking. I did the picking via free agency. My federation is Cult at 10PI. Actually, he had a thread in Site Feedback where he admited to be Eagan. Although, he stated that he had ordered something via one of Dames' friends that would/had tipped Dames off on who he was (I think he said this), so he came clean about a lot of things. And apologized for a lot of stuff and practically everything he did in his final days. Quite a few people had repsonded to the thread. Said thread has been since deleted and hence why no one can find out his re-banning. Although, a lot of people who replied (actually all of them when I had looked) had agreed that Eagan should be given a second chance since he was after all pretty damned good up till this point. And many took his apologizes towards others sincerely.

I feel the burn. Sadly, I won't be able to cool it down when I debut Edward James here soon. I'm just going to get my ass kicked hard. Here's to Toxxic for doing so well though!

More likely Toxxic will be holding all the freaking singles titles, and find a tag team partner and then have all the titles. Seriously.

Considering World Wildlife Foundation actually sold the rights to www.wwf.com to a wrestling forum, I do believe the WWE would have a case at smacking the World Wildlife Foundation good.

Not for a long period of time, they were both seen as Upper Midcard during the 80s. Is there any reason why the WGTT couldn't be used like this? Because a lot of us Benjamites want him as a freaking singles wrestler and winning the WWE Title. It's a long time happening, but still. We'd rather have him as a singles wrestler. We haven't made any noise about Benjamin being a singles wrestler till now, just because the tag division is pretty dead, and frankly, they've been sort of pushing Benjamin a little bit as the star of the tag team. So obviously they get that he's entertaining and that he connects well with the crowd and are testing to see if he can go it on his own.
