I'm in sore need of a sporting game, as I don't have one anymore (I gave my Madden 2004 up for a credit at Microplay). I've suddenly come into a "baseball frenzy" and desperately want to get a new game. Since I have the clams and to cleanse my baseball needs, I figured I'd pick up a baseball game. I've heard a lot of good things about MVP, from online websites and that. However, I'd like your opinion. I'm going tomorrow to Microplay (I was planning on going today, but I'm ending up near Microplay again tomorrow, so I figured, might as well wait), so I thought I'd ask for your opinions.

Your health definitely is a major factor of being even put into the "greats". It is another part of being one of the greats. If you aren't healthy all the time, then you are just gifted. Nothing more.

If he wasn't so injury prone, then yes, he probably would be classified as one of the top 10. I would consider him top 30 at very most.

Well, does he actually have a WWE development contract or is he just working OVW regularly? Newly aquired. Don't even have a photo up on OVWrestling.com. So I'm probably guessing he might've just been given a contract.

Well I don't think that's a bad idea, keeping them as a unit. However, I'm just saying that a split (meaning them just go their own ways) might be the best way to have them. Yes, it hurts the tag division, but it helps the heels out more so as they are single units then.

*shrugs* I'm willing to give anything the benefit of a doubt. At first. I mean, if I hadn't, I wouldn't have played and liked MVP 2003 or Disgaea. I'll give this game a shot and see if it is any good. It is definitely looking good though, I must say.

I know, but still. A lot of goalies as of late are coming into their own. It is getting to the point where there are too many good goalies and not enough teams.

Trust me, they've got enough heat as a team. Just need to give them one last push, into the quaky ground of "we almost had it but it was YOUR fault", then split them and feud them for whatever singles title is optionable. I don't care if they feud themselves or against someone else, just give these two guys singles pushes already. The tag division is more or less dead anyways.

If Mick Foley can make me care about a throw-away match at WMXX then he gets my vote. Since he did, he got mine.

I could probably make that up pretty easily. Charisma and stats don't play too much apart of it. It's mostly the little checkboxes that do. Like for Monster, you need Menacing and Superstar look. You can't really get it to go otherwise. High brawling stat is a must, 70+ (can get away with as low of as 55, if you get lucky). Really it depends on how you book as well. You could give a guy the Monster gimmick and if you don't book him as he doesn't lose to anyone, you can sometimes mess it up.

I'm surprised that Joey Matthews is in OVW. I didn't know he was. I thought he was working with RoH last I knew.

Hey Goodear, just so you know, I thought your match was really played out well. I don't think there was any problem with the prior damage being played up, nor the big spot having enough "fire". I just said "where's the rematch" because someone was going to say it. Thusly, I got it out of the way. When you and Clark have that rematch is up to you. For now, I'll just enjoy the goodness of your match.

I view any team's goalie as Cup-caliber goalies if they help their team make the playoffs. We've found out the hard way of doubting goalies that they could come back to bite us with spectacular performances and carrying their teams on their backs. Examples: Montreal and Theodore Anaheim and Giguire. And I have a sneaky feeling that another goaltender that'll do this is Flames netminder, Kippy (I can't spell his last name, sue me). Also with McClennan as well, this team has a lot of goalies that are out to prove themselves.

No you aren't down by much. However, Al, pretty much at this point, we are just playing to not be lower than the other. Because both of us need a lot of luck to end up making 12th. You need a little more then me at this point however.

Heh, I need a lot of luck to make the playoffs. I've got two of three teams doing what I need them to do. Now if Better Than Utah would just PLEASE smash his series against Alfdogg Asylum so that Alfdogg's only winning 1 or 2 games, I'd be a happy happy manager.

Please excuse me if these are brief, I just woke up. Congrats on our NEW ICTV Champion, Toxxic, it was a pretty damn good match. The Anti-Hell Machine, or Terrance, or Janus, or whatever you are calling yourself this day, nice match against Van Siclen. Wasn't expecting that for the concert, song wasn't half bad actually. Definitely interested to see where this Maddix vs Clark feud goes. And Johnny wins his match in a squash! WONDERFUL! ...moving on. West vs Clark ended in a DRAW? BOOO~! I DEMAND A REMATCH~! It was a great match nevertheless. Great match by the House of Todd! I was really feeling the match and it had a good flow and everything. Still can't believe Maddix has pinned Grappler twice now.

I still say Edmonton vs Calgary for the Western Conference Finals, in which the winner then goes onto winning the Stanley Cup. I'd prefer the Oilers, but as long as one of the two Albertan teams wins it, I'm a happy Albertan.

MWHAHAHAHAH~! With only a few days to go, I MIGHT MAKE THE FUCKING PLAYOFFS~!!! Gwangju White Tigers has won 3 games, whilst I've won 7 against Pocono Poison. Now all I need is for you Al to drop down to 2 games, and voila! I make the comeback of the season. Because frankly, I was written off when I was in dead last place and even HarleyQuinn's inactive team was kicking my ass.

Mysterious Gimmick usually only works with someone that has the "Fonz Factor". I believe Sting doesn't have it, thus it is weak. As for the Whole Damn Show, you need to be highly talented, high charisma (75+, but I'd wouldn't go below 80) and also Fonz Factor. Superstar look I believe is optional.

Supposedly he was trying to work his way out of it. Since he couldn't compete with Zero-One under the 90 day period, I think. If he ends up on TNA, he probably did work out of the clause.
