Aw dammit. I meant the Star Trek episode and was meaning to refer to the main point of the thread. Well, fuck. And you can't hit me Rant. I'm 20. I have no idea about the show in question.

Today, I met the lead (well, currently, only) programmer of the Samurai Studios! He's going to the same school as I am, brushing up on the business presentation stuff he'll have to do for his team's first game: New Horizons (you may or may not have heard of this game, its PC bound). So I chatted up with him and all this and it was just so cool! I got to talk to him about his game, some of the features to expect, although the game has not been coded yet as they just got the game engine for New Horizons, so some of those features may not make it into the game. And talked about this and that of gaming. I feel kinda silly now that I idolize game creators because when I said "you are doing New Horizons" I kinda was like giving the look that most anime characters do of 'no way, I'm in the presence of someone like so better than me' kinda expression. I was even called on it by fellow students. Best part was, he said to send an application to the company he works for as they will/are looking for programmers in the near future (being when I complete my course no less). And there's probably a good chance I'll be hired after I complete my course! Here I was the day before (Monday) totally bummed out that I bombed a test because I second guessed all my answers (flunked pretty bad, I went from a 100% right test to a 48% right test) and was really wondering if this was for me, and here's my opportunity being presented right to me to build my hobby from scratch! I'm just so psyched now that I can't sleep! I'm totally seeing my course through, and working hard at both my coding. Heck, even my writing juices are flowing and I haven't had those going in YEARS. Bwahahahahaha! Heh... Seems like all the bad karma real life has thrown at me and I've taken is finally starting to pay me back with some good karma! Since I've given you guys a story about all my crappy times, I figured I'd share something relatively on the positive side for once.

Ok, is it just me or was it the further I got into the game, the more absolutely mind-boggling in the wrong sense was this game. I mean, the whole story basically ripped up what the original two Star Ocean's had set for in terms of how the universe of Star Ocean worked. Personally if they are going to whip out some damn storyline like that, at least give us some connection to incidents in the first two games to prove that this plot idea was a long time in preperation. There is no evidence of it at all. I'm not spoiling the plot device in question, because frankly, it has to deal with the Time Gate (if I remember correctly, I'm honestly trying to forget this game was made). And besides, you played the game, you KNOW what I speak of. Oh and Crono T, the Time Gate actually came BEFORE the Guardian. The Time Gate was originally in the first game of Star Ocean, IIRC. And that game was 1991... Which I believe was before the episode in question.

If it's going to go down to me and you VX, we have to start winning more against our own conference. I mean a .500 won't get you into the playoffs. *remembers how two people from my divison actually made the playoffs with .500 records* ...ok, maybe it'll get you in, but it'll not get ya far. So you start winning against your NFC opponents, I'll start winning against mine, and we'll then meet up in the NFC Championship Series and have the most heated KKK Pick'em Game. I think that sounds fair.

YES! I'm on top of my division still! And my only concern is Mike SC. Atlanta Falcons (Lightning Flik) 5-2 <PF: 50, PA: 49, AFC: 1-1, NFC: 3-2, DIV: 1-0> And dammit, KKK. You got it wrong yet again. It should be AFC 2-0. Not 1-1. I don't like my record against my own NFC. I'm 3-2 there, yet 2-0 against the AFC. At least I know if I got to the finals I've got a good shot at winning.

Considering I'm on a team with only 8 wins, and I'm STILL 6th best TSM hitter, I think I am "Da Man". I'm going to shoot myself for taking that solemn vow not to ask for a trade, because if Philly doesn't get its act together, I so would. I actually WATCHED the Red Sox come back from 3 down to watch. And I'm not a baseball fan, or at least, I wasn't till this season, but in any case, I watched the games full through and pissed if I missed what happened (as the chat room can attest to). Therefore, I give the nod to the Sox vs. Yanks - Game 7

Pennington and Smith. McNair's (if your league counts sacks and int penalties) been pretty horrid fantasy wise and I think Robinson is being exempted for Campbell if I'm mistaken. In the TSM Meat Madness Market League I've got Priest Holmes vs. Atlanta, Westbrook vs. Cleveland, and Droughns vs. Cincy. Holmes should be a definite pick, I'd be stupid not to put him in. However, it falls to should I put in Westbrook or Droughns? I'm leaning towards Droughns because the guy has just been racking in the fantasy points, plus this IS Cincy who've allowed like 500 yards in the last two games played to the rush. Westbrook is the true starter though, whereas Droughns might just be temporary... For WDI: Should I start Suggs? Or should I start Rudi? Suggs is technically the backup to Green, and yet he still gets yardage. Yet Rudi is the starter for sure.

Wow... Someone else liked the concept of that show, like me. It was a pretty good show for awhile, till it started doing the wash, rinse, repeat on getting sword shards and ... whatever else the main character was chasing. Dammit, I can't remember anything about this show. I must Google it later on.
