  1. I'm almost positive they have them in the vault . . . but WWE releasing them is another story.
  2. I'm sure they keep everything . . . they even had clips of Benoit's WWF tryout matches in 1995.
  3. Showdown wouldn't be bad at all if not for the glitches that ruin it. I still keep LOW2 since it's basically the same game w/ a smaller roster, more generic arenas, but far less glitches. Plus, LOW2 has some decent little shoot interviews in the game.
  4. I have a decent selection of MSG shows from 1984-1992 in the link in my sig if you're interested. http://www.geocities.com/millenniumman831/Tape_List.html
  5. Don't forget about "Crank it Up", the Young Stallions theme song is on the tape. But unfotunately, no Young Stallions music video was ever released. Drat!
  6. I've spent way too many hours doing 8-Man Survivor Series matches on LOW2.
  7. Do you mean the Super Assassins, who were squashed by Luger and Sting ? If you do, they were Warlord and Barbarian under hoods. Any reason why they were under hoods? Not sure if Barbarian already debuted or not at the time of the Destroyers' pairing. One would think that the "Powers of Pain" still had some name value even if they were just there to be jobbed out.
  8. The I-13 set was actually a great deal . . . $80 through mail order IIRC. Then, they released "The Legacy" (I-XIV) for $150 the following year.
  9. Benoit lost to David Flair? When was this? I know Dean Malenko lost to Junior Flair at Bash at the Beach 1999 and I thought Benoit ended up beating Flair for the U.S. Title. Then again, I wasn't a dedicated viewer of WCW in 1999 anyway.
  10. I wished he would shave that awful facial hair of his. He looked like he had a 35 year old face on a 13 year old body. Don't know what he's looking like now and I really don't care. That's the thing about X-Pac . . . people just stopped caring once the D-X wave passed by.
  11. Boston --- Don't Look Back
  12. Most of the matches at WM18 were slopped together at the last minute (Edge/Booker, Kane/Angle, RVD/Regal, Tag Titles, ect).
  13. Hey, Taped the Super Bowl tonight in hopes of seeing the Eagles win. That didn't happen so I may as well try to sell the tape off. I started taping at about 4:15 EST prior to the segment on the DBs and let the tape roll for nearly 8 hours . . . which includes the entire game/post game plus Simpsons/American Dad/local news. I'm looking to get $8 shipped for it but will take best offer. Thanks.
  14. Thanks for the upload.
  15. Dr. D looks less than pleased to be in that picture . . . then again, I've never seen him pleased.
  16. Haas is correct. This was all also shown on the Power Hour/Pro and Worldwide. It was technically a house show taped for television if that makes any sense . . . similiar to seeing a MSG title change on Primetime Wrestling. You wouldn't say that the title change took place on Primetime, rather it was aired on Primetime.
  17. Say what you may, but there's something about her that's just plain hot.
  18. ^^^ I must have missed something here . . . most likely Raw last fall. What was this all about?
  19. Dammit Edge . . . enough w/ the F'N spear!!!
  20. Can't wait for London/Akio III. And almost 15 minutes to boot . . . JBL's squash on Shannon Moore must have been cancelled this week.
  21. So Heenan really didn't mean to give it away then? No, I am pretty sure he was just doing what his charicter was doing the whole show. Heenan loved Hogan because working w/ him meant more $$$. But his character has despised him for years and would NEVER trust a guy like Hogan. Plus, there was a sense of paranoia in kayfabe WCW. NO ONE was ruled out as being the 3rd man, so it's natural that Heenan would make that observation.
  22. I need to see video of that. The best part was how the Rockers and Neidhart sold Hogan's rage like death while Bret barely budged and just had a look as to say "What's wrong w/ you?"
  23. Why's the kid asking for his jewlery anyway? Paralyzed or not, it ain't cool to put someone on the spot like that unless he had every intention of giving it back anyway.
  24. Sounds like a really fun time until I see that it's $300 for a VIP pass just to meet and greet some old timers. Plus, I'd hate to have to deal w/ the crowds everywhere. Just point me to the Jimmy Hart table and I'll be set.
  25. IMO, Hogan will always be perceived as a bit higher up the food chain than Austin as far as mainstream attention goes. Hogan was always about being the good that defeated the evil, visiting hospitals, posing for photo ops . . . basically he was to wrestling what Jordan was to basketball. Even as a heel, it was obvious that Hogan was just acting a part and didn't really come across as a scumbag to the general public. Meanwhile, Austin was an extrordinarily popular rebel in his era. He was certainly the benchmark for his era much the same Hogan was for his time. Being the 1st mainstream wrestler that beat up the boss regularly, flipped the bird, drank beer in the ring, ect. certainly gave him a leg up on everybody else. On the flip side, one could argue, giving free reign to squashing all the heels gave Hogan an advantage in the 1980s. From a wrestling fan's point of view, I believe they are equals. From a general public point of view, I think Hogan will always be #1 just for the fact that he was the original colorful superhero in wrestling. He comes across as much more approchable to the media than Austin, his scowl, and the "wreckless" style of wrestling he helped usher in.
