Ill make it three General Tsos marks on the board... I think tickets might sellout faster than normal this year. Im in the same boat as Matt Young and cant buy for awhile...Ebay will have plenty up if it does sellout too quickly though. 80,000 tickets at 200 dollars a popis a lot to sellout...Im not too worried about finding one by the time I have the cash. Ive been giddy as a little bitch since Tuesday night for this lineup, Czech.
  3. Yeah, I know its among the weaker Smiths songs musically. But I just like it.
  4. Id like to mention the song Panic as Im not seing it in this thread anywhere and its one of my fave Smiths songs.

The campground is never lacking for people. Theres always times when plenty of people are back near their tents cooking food, etc. Theoretically, Agent is right...it can be done, and is just as bad as the fuckers that rip others off with bad acid, etc (someone innocent being hurt). I dont think sneaking in is as possible as in '04 though. At the entrance they check to make sure everyone actually has a ticket (so you'd have to actually take the time to stowaway people really well) then at Centeroo they tug on the wristbands and actually look at 'em close now. One would have to come in through the woods and it just seems like too much work for me. So, theoretically, these ideas are possible...but they seem to entail way too much effort...and as far as tazering people etc - you probably wouldnt have to worry about security, but if anyone saw it you'd end up being monkeystomped by several dudes. And, Ive definitly never seen anyone at Roo with the 'stealth of a ninja'...its hot, maybe rainy, long, and people are usually totally fucked by the first night. Stealth of a Jackass is all most people end up with.

    Riiiiiight.
  7. I think Greg Valentine was the best worker of the last few decades to not get a world title run. He could tell a really good believable story in the ring, could cut promos, and had a great look. He clicked with alot of workers (Piper, Tito, Steamboat, Hogan, etc) and could work either the old school style in long matches, hardcore brawls (Piper), gimmick matches (Piper, Tito). He was also a really good tag team worker no matter who the partner he worked with...Flair, Beefcake, Dino, HTM. He made two mid-card titles (US and Intercontinental) sem as important as anyone else who has ever held them.
  8. To the ignore list you go, fool.
  9. I met him at a Wal-Mart once. Nice guy. Thats all I know.
  10. This is odd...deperatehousewife, who claims to be neither a Journalist or a troll: TNA - Total Nonstop Action ( 130 posts / 49% of this member's active posts )
  11. Who knows? Apparently everyone but you.
  12. I knew Vince was innocent. If the hand dont fit the tit you must acquit.

At the campground entrance last year (I cant speak for '04 as I hitchhiked/walked in) the only things they checked vehicles for before getting into camp was nitrous tanks and glass bottles. And if you had glass bottles (in our case, Grey Goose) they allowed it to be funneled into plastic and all was good. The patdowns to Centeroo (where the music is) are really light. Security is there mainly for safety purposes...theres reasons why Roo has a rep for being so laid back, and a lack of Gestapo is a big one. As BX said, just dont be stupid about what you bring and do.

It appears Phil Lesh & Friends are the third headliner. Beck will probably have a late-night set. Elvis & Imposters (with special guest Allen Toussant) may be an afternoon/evening main stage act. Dresden Dolls will probably have their full stage show as well.
  15. Well worth ten dollars.
  16. Thanks for posting all that, RRR. Carlson is a very important person to the history of mma. He is also being given proper respect at some of the more intelligent boxing forums online as well.
  17. How did 50 ghostwrite for the Game? Doesnt Fiddy rely on ghostwriters himself? And the Roots, Ghostface might not drop? Do you know anything? Seriously, where do people get some of their 'information'?
  18. Didnt Vladimir end up having his picture in almost every George Napolitano magazine ever?
  19. Carlson Gracie deserved a thread of his own, imo.
  20. Mr Rant is becoming (hopefully intentional) a very amusing parody of the wwe apologists in this thread.
  21. Carnival has some pretty neat ideas there.
  22. Vince looks creepier every time I see him on tv...this is no surprise.

Hmmm...my satchel of pills and I were never bothered by piggies. There were some arrests though. I think its just a matter of people not acting like retards. "Scuse me officer dude...want a hit of nitrous?"
  24. Someone should tell Bret Hart that a ** (at best) match with the Rock at WM wouldnt really hurt his legacy any. The audience would be crazy and wouldnt care if it was a ten minute match without any big bumps. That said, it still will probably never happen. I wonder what guys like Bret and Rock think of this current 'dis Eddies ghost' angle.
