Matt's the man. I'm so hanging with him while I'm in California.

Semantics are also what keep 75% of partisan bickering afloat.

I see. Yeah man, I'd totally get those big 64oz drinks from that place all the time and just talk and chill with the strangely knowledgeable convenience store clerk.

He's right that divisiveness is going to kill this place one day, but not like THAT. It's unfortunate that I know a lot of nice and progressive Christians yet this guy is one of their largest public representatives.

Miss New Mexico is part of a Halo 2 clan? Wow. -
The world will end when it's damn well ready to do so. Only The Flow dictates when it's ready to go.

Whew. Okay, cool.

Already posted in... I dunno, one of these threads on Episode III.

I REALLY want to give it a higher ranking, but as in wrestling, you need to have a really crazy payoff to such a long angle. I mean, it wasn't really meant at the time to have such insane buildup, but even then it already had a backstory. After Episode III, the ANH duel will either be put higher or lower. My guess is higher because that Episode III duel is going to be way too long and overblown to be good. Seriously. Oh, and I'm really going to try and get an ECW chant going, if I remember. I might be too hyped up watching it to remember. -
We aren't going to lose all old posts, are we?

There's nothing wrong with figuring out how a fantasy situation would play out and saying why people think they way they do in a neutral manner. Not everything has to be combatitive (I think I just invented a word). That said, it'd be awfully stupid to not attack the scapegoats in such a plot first. The public would never buy it if we'd gone for Iraq first. We obviously would have to go after those who had been identified as responsible before anyone else. I've always said Bush was deceptively intelligent, his only shortcoming being an incredible ability to fuck up the verbalizations of his ideas a lot. Even then, "a lot" is 2% of the time. I personally want to see a college dropout President one day, or one who just plain graduated high school. There's no educational requirements, after all. If they illustrate a better grasp of things and better ideas than the "educated" ones, I'm all for whoever it is.

My power trip has yet to begin. Prepare for the giant to awaken soon.

I dunno, that dude probably swings a good bit of tail.

I was forced to watch Brain Dead the other night. Not the whole thing though, just the insanely gory last 25 minutes. Being high, I was both confused and about to wet myself from how fucked up the whole thing was. Horror itself doesn't bug me so much as what's required of a mind to create it.

The problem with this CGI age is that we can get awesome sequences, but never a good climax or ending. I mean, people look like they go out like chumps after the insane fights they can have. -

By the way, the stuff after the duels in ESB and ROTJ are not included in my ratings. JUST THE WORKRATE, WOOKIEE -

Obi-Wan should have been the one to take out Jango, but I guess they wanted to establish how hard to the core Mace was. -

Jango/Obi-Wan was a crazy-ass brawl between two dudes who rocked their respective weapons and even went hand-to-hand. Obi-Wan's sick kick across Jango's helmeted face rules every time. Shit went off the edge of where they were fighting, had Obi-Wan using his Force abilities to survive, Jango using the jetpack until it was taken out, etc. Just a really wild sequence and Obi-Wan takes blaster shots from a STARSHIP. Underrated as hell. -
He dropped some elbows on Daivari, but that's it as far as leaving his feet went. How did NO ONE pick up the "chicken-eating" thing with Viscera? Holy FUCK, the entire sports bar gasped when Trish said that.

Last time I tried to watch The Simpsons period was last Thursday when the local channel played some episode where Homer had to fight a bear to reclaim his manhood. It was seriously awful on every level, and my friends and I couldn't make it past the second segment. I'd been advocating shutting it off since the first segment, but whatever. I've been afraid to watch it since then for fear I'll catch an old episode and weep over what the show has become.

Okay, then say "the camera didn't catch it." Why confiscate the film? I mean, I have no problem with the official story, I just don't get why so much stuff got taken away and not shown to us. It takes all of a few seconds to show the pertinent part of any tape on CNN or some shit, and boom, buncha people shut up about it.

There's no way that a Virginia DOT camera that's always going and showing I-395 and would have showed the plane at least flying over if not the impact shouldn't be shown to the public because of security concerns. It's a perpetually running camera for traffic and stuff, showing a public highway.
