Relating to the person who said that they had a hard time not seeing Eddie or Benoit as champs: It may be that I don't watch Smackdown nearly as often as Raw (every week for the latter, maybe once a month for the former), but I still don't see Eddie as a champ on the same level as Benoit. I would point to his treatment after losing the belt, that being of going on to something different and ignoring any potential reclaimation of the title, but the same was done with Benoit. I can't put my finger on why, but I see Eddie on a lower level than Benoit, and have since the beginning of the year.

So I finally downloaded it and gave it a watch. Just... ugh. A film that, for me personally, was like Rushmore. A film that was pimped to me endlessly any time I'd say that I meant to see it at some point because it looked very intriguing, but sweet Jesus was I underwhelmed when I finally saw it. It was almost an overblown version of the already overblown portrayals of high school life. Only thing that got me really good (as in an actual out-loud laugh compared to the three times I sort of chuckled elsewhere during) was his "Yes" to the video asking if he was ready to get his groove on. Dreadfully unlikeable people all around, and people whose next moves I could almost predict because of their paper-thin roles. I think I liked the uncle for a split-second at the beginning, but that was it. Oh, I liked Pedro's cousins too. I don't ask for a lot from movies, but at least give me a reason to keep watching. I wanted to punch Napoleon near the end, not being able to take his completely drab and lifeless character much longer. Not the worst movie I've ever seen by far, but really not good at all.
