Fortunately, my new car isn't nearly as racey as the GT was, so I'll never be tempted to push it. I'll just sit back and enjoy the ride as the children in the minivan ask their mother why light is bending around their car.

I found out via a Calvin and Hobbes strip that had the father dropping a big present on his foot and his mother telling him not to wake Calvin up. I was 9 at the time, and wept for three days.

I've seen it probably about 30 times. I hadn't seen it in a long time (between when I was 12 and 18 or so), and when I watched it at 18 it was WAY funnier. I haven't popped it in in about a year. I should do that sometime this weekend.

Yes, I can barely contain my glee. This sounds reaffirming of your opinion of NASCAR fans, but "city folk" just don't get it.

I'm unbelieveably happy they put McGwire's home run over Bonds'. I'm also happy (but not happy-happy, you know what I mean) that Earnhardt's crash placed period, let alone that high. NASCAR is steadily gaining acceptance finally.

Pack goes 11-5, maybe 12-4, wins a hotly contested NFC North with the Vikings getting in as a Wild Card and the Lions almost ruining things. I see Green Bay getting to the NFC Title game, but a Super Bowl feels like a longshot. Still, I'm confident they can do it if they just play as good as they really are and Favre leads like a man whose last real chance is probably this season.

Being my first time, I only took half of what my more experienced friends normally did. It hit me pretty hard, but was damned pleasant overall besides TV shows appearing three-dimensional at times, time feeling waaaaaaay longer than it was, and my watch appearing 30 feet away any time someone asked me what time it was. Then I couldn't stop smiling for an hour because the idea of someone not being able to stop smiling made me laugh, which lead to more smiling. I should also add the hour felt like a week. I was only tripping for about five hours, but I seriously still feel like an entire month went by in one night.
