Wow, what timing. Believe it or not, I have a girlfriend now. I refuse to believe that a near-total lack of internet access for three weeks had something to do with it.

I would get excited about Game 7, but I know something's going to happen to destroy the hopes and hearts of Boston fans. It'll be dramatic at least.

FINALLY, this series is fufilling expectations. I was severely underwhelmed with the idea of a sweep. The amazing series last year, the drama during this seasons' games, it would only be appropriate to go to Game 7 again at this point. I won't venture as to who will win, but it would be fitting for the Red Sox of all teams (maybe the Cubs moreso) to do the thus-far impossible.

Ohio State/Texas is very interesting to me. I can't wait to see that next year.

Notre Dame has one of the hardest schedules in the country every year, that's why they can get into the Top 25 easier than other teams.

As a side note, Mike and I agreed on something, folks. Behold the power of sports.

Texas is ALWAYS overrated, and I'll never change my stance until they beat Oklahoma and make a BCS bowl.

Okay, I'll hear this out. If by that you mean in the Top 25 and would have an undefeated record this season were it not for LSU's comeback and Tennessee's 4th Quarter heroics, sure. As much as I hate USC, I have to defend them for a change. They're not on the level of Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee just yet, but they're still a good team that's always overlooked and can ruin a better team's day. Recover from blowout at home by beating the #3 team in the nation on the road, currently ranked #11 in the AP poll. Yeah, that jury's a bitch. Arkansas is currently in the same boat as USC in that they aren't top-tier yet they can beat anyone who doesn't take them seriously. Fortunately for Auburn, they prepared. LSU is recovering after the Georgia thumping put them at rock bottom, overcoming a huge deficit on the road at Florida, and with a needed Bye week to recharge for a late-season run to what should end up being only a two-loss season. Alabama plays hard every week and could very well beat Tennessee this Saturday. Yes, yes, no, and yes. Ole Miss has recovered from some early troubles to possibly have a pretty respectable season, and is yet another of those teams that can shock a higher-ranked opponent. And Tennessee. And Florida. And LSU. And Arkansas. And South Carolina. And Alabama. And Ole Miss. The SEC's biggest enemy might be its own great teams. You end up with everyone beating each other.

I'm scared to happen across the "crab in Rake's underwear" segment while high. I might die from laughter. It's seriously one of the top ten funniest things I've ever seen on my television.

An additional thought: Is it just me, or are the two supposed Orange Bowl favorites both looking underwhelming thus far? They've had to really slug it out at times, instead of either being truly dominant and staking their claim. Oh, and don't sleep on Miami as far as the Orange Bowl goes.
