It wouldn't kill them to run a couple of non-televised shows every month or two. Have important things happen at one or two of them to show they aren't just "see TNA in YOUR hometown!" shows, and build the promotion from there. If they want to be a viable competitor it has to happen eventually.

They don't have to go to large arenas. Mid-size locations would do just fine. There are small, medium, and big arenas, and then you've got stadiums. Just because WWE goes on the road in larger arenas (and that's mostly on TV as they run house shows at smaller venues now than during the boom) doesn't mean TNA has to as well to get the desired effect. A smaller building with louder fans would accomplish just as much.

I loved the hell out of Def Jam Vendetta, but maybe I should have been more specific and said "wrestling game based off of an actual promotion." Storylines mean nothing to me.

Hey, for a lot of these lesser bowl teams this is their only national exposure. Since bowls are just exhibition games anyway, let 'em get some face time and make their momma happy.

With my Barnes and Noble card I got the February issue of Car and Driver, a Batman/Superman comic collection, and the entire Crisis on Infinite Earths story in one book. For some reason I couldn't find anything else I really wanted there and couldn't find where the hell the Doonesbury collections were after looking at the Humor section yielded nothing. I'm most excited about the comics for some odd reason. I wanna see what all the fuss is about.

Alabama pulls within three of Oklahoma State in the Independence Bowl. 17-14 late in the first half. This is the SEC's first bowl so far and it's a breath of fresh air. I learned my lesson on these spiffy wrestling games with Raw on the X-Box. Fortunately I was allowed to return it less than 24 hours later despite buying it used. I've had a Gamecube for a year and a half now and have had no desire to seek out wrestling games for it. Is it just me, or are wrestling games getting worse with better systems?

I got to watch Joe/Angle II yesterday and had to mute it because of the commentary. Tenay talks too fuckin' much. "The fans are right, this is awesome!" was what broke the camel's back.
