  1. Credit: PWInsider.com/411 The Rock appeared on the Howard Stern show today, but due to his heavy media schedule, he only had about a half hour on the air. Here is a recap: - A fan named "AA" agreed to the "Wheel of Torture" in order to meet The Rock. He got "Human Liquid Balloons" (because of the FCC problems, they couldn't say what the liquid was). As Stern's staff were throwing the balloons at him, Rock requested to come in so he could throw one as well. He did, breaking it on the rear end of AA. - The fan, AA, kissed up to the Rock, saying he would "trade places with him tomorrow" if he could. - The Stern crew and the Rock were cracking a lot of jokes about AA, and comments were made about how Rock was a lot more fun than other actors (Tim Robbins) who were uptight. - They discussed Rock's tattoos, and he confirmed that they were very real. He said they easily airbrush it out in makeup before he acts, and it usually takes an hour. He says it isn't that difficult to have done, once they get the right skin tone figured out. - Rock said that the tattoos represent Samoan culture and are very meaningful to him. Howard joked that he was playing up his half-Samoan side instead of his half-black side. - AA mentioned Rock's grandfather, High Chief Peter Maivia, having the tattoos. (even though he kept mispronouncing Maivia, and Rock had to correct him). AA also talked about Rocky Johnson, and the crew made fun of him some more, pointing out that he was carrying a replica title belt with him. - Rock revealed that he owns the name "The Rock" and that it was an "easy conversation" with Vince McMahon about it. Stern was shocked that Vince McMahon would just let the Rock have the rights to the name. - Rock said that it was the media that pushed him as "Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson", and he preferred to just be billed as The Rock. - They joked that Rock owns the name, but Vince still owns him. Rock said that if he leaves WWE, he will be keeping the name, and reiterated that it belongs to him now. Rock agreed that it was "unprecedented" for Vince McMahon to give up a name he owned. - Rock said his WWE contract is up this year, and he is "not sure" what he will do. He mentioned coming back for Wrestlemania, pointing out that "it was the Garden". - A caller made fun of AA, leading to more jokes about him worshipping the Rock and carrying around a belt. - Rock said his movie career is "Awesome" as Stern put over how well things are going for him. Rock said he is working with an acting coach. - They were discussing how hot Uma Thurman, Rock's next co-star, is as Rock's time ran out. - Rock quickly went over the story of the film, and explained some of the differences between this version of "Walking Tall" and the original.
  2. Was his live promo's any worst then Orton, Brock or even Benoit?
  3. It's about damn time. You can only keep a fish on a hook for so long. Either you let it go or just kill it.

    The O.C.

I wish Marissa would die. I can't stand that character. I hated that character when it was Kelly on 90210. The whinny bitch who has problems every week that you're supposed to relate to and feel sorry for. At least turn her heel.
  5. 90% of the lockerroom.
  6. Was she? I never heard that before. Molly is almost as sneaky as Trish. You almost never hear anything about her.
  7. I guess she knows nothing about the fact that the guy is a heroin addict too......... Molly is use to being around drug addicts.
  8. We're suppose to trust WWE polls when they have stuff like this on there?
  9. So a bunch of "famous" guys were drinking and got a bit rowdy and hit on women, then two years later when the women need money they decide to sue and over exaggerate the story? Got ya.
  10. Sounds like a big pile of suckage. That spot scares the Hell out of me.
  11. My favorite part is Axl saying this about someone else...
  12. NEW YORK (Billboard) - Guns N' Roses has canceled its scheduled May 30 headlining appearance at the Rock in Rio festival in Lisbon. In a statement, sole original member Axl Rose places the blame on guitarist Buckethead, who has apparently exited the lineup. "The band has been put in an untenable position by guitarist Buckethead and his untimely departure," Rose said. "During his tenure with the band Buckethead has been inconsistent and erratic in both his behavior and commitment -- despite being under contract -- creating uncertainty and confusion and making it virtually impossible to move forward with recording, rehearsals and live plans with confidence." Rose cited Buckethead's interest in furthering a solo career first established with the 1992 release of a self-titled album on the Avant label. The masked artist, who is never seen in the flesh or without a KFC bucket on his head, will kick off a solo tour tomorrow (March 31) in Milwaukee supporting jam band Particle. "It appears his plans were to secure a recording contract with Sanctuary Records which I encouraged my management to make available to him, quit GNR and to use his involvement in the upcoming Guns release to immediately promote his individual efforts," Rose said. "There is not a member of this camp that is not hurt, upset and ultimately disappointed," Rose added. "We as a whole definitely feel that we afforded Bucket every accommodation perhaps so much so that it may be that we, or more precisely, I may have done Guns a disservice and unintentionally allowed Guns to be put in this position." The Rock in Rio appearance was to be the group's first since a disastrous 2002 comeback tour that was canceled with 13 dates remaining. "On behalf of Guns N' Roses and myself I apologize to the fans," Rose said. "The festival and its tradition mean a lot to me personally and I sincerely do not enjoy being robbed by one of our own of the opportunity to be the first artist to play it for the third time." Rose admitted that "there are obviously several issues to resolve" regarding Buckethead's longtime involvement and the band's long-awaited Geffen album "Chinese Democracy." "In the meantime rather than dwelling on the negative, Guns will be moving forward," Rose said, "and surprisingly (without giving away any details) this unfortunate set of circumstances may have given us the opportunity to take our recording that one extra step further. Regardless we hope to announce a release date within the next few months." Reuters/Billboard
  13. They're okay. Nothing too offensive or annoying ..... yet.
  14. You know how that works. Wrestler gets put over big one week, looks like he will get a big push and be made a star, then nothing happens next week. And keep Shelton away from Cade. That guy is useless.
  15. The Smoking Gun Police Report w/ more details
  16. Guys use to fight with the crowd all the time in the south. People are just spoiled today and think it's unprofessional.
  17. There was that gun Austin used which shot out a net to catch Kevin Nash. Remember Nash screaming like a women "He has a gun!"
  18. What? You mean people don't take flat back bumps in real life? Damn that Vince for swerving me again. I was watching this thing on the Rock last night on E! and he said he choked a girl out at a party once in college because she made fun of his dad. Not only does Rocky get off free by most for leaving WWE for Hollywood where he makes millions while Brock gets ripped apart for taking a long shot at a dream of his for less money, but he also choked a women. C'mon boys! Let the Rocky hate begin!!!!
  19. More times then not Vince could careless what we think or know. The die hard Internet fan base is small. Except for us, no one gives a rats ass if Tajiri has heat for eating the last piece of chicken breast at catering. A storyline being leaked that Jindrak is getting a new gimmick is nothing and won't affect the company. However, when a big event like Wrestlemania XX is about to happen and the media is covering it the Internet becomes a problem. If Joe Blow from the New York Post has to write an article on the event he'll search the Internet to find info to help him out. Then he clicks on a site and the first thing he see's is "Brock Lesnar Leaving WWE for NFL" of course he'll break the story to the masses and the average fan will see it in the paper and even some TV news outlets will mention it. The draft wasn't as big as WMXX, but you get my point. And holy shit. I'm past 5000 post. Where did my life go?
  20. Plus, he wouldn't have to work house shows every week. Don't call him a manager. Call him an agent that way he could be with guys from both rosters.
  21. Who the fuck is this? I can't imagine actual Led Zeppelin cover-tribute bands being this unoriginal. Gee, maybe I'll start a band and call it "Guns AND Roses" or "Arrow Smith" Also, I never really thought of Blind Melon as grunge. They had that retro classic rock/flower child thing going at the time along with Black Crowes, 4 Non-Blondes, etc,.
  22. This is the first thing I've heard about Limp Bizkit in a while. Either people just stopped giving a shit or Fred Durst got smart and ducked out of the spot light after all the shit he started.
  23. Sarcasm can fly straight over your head when you're drunk. Jennifer Love Hewitt > every teen star today.
