I don't think it will be too detrimental to your shows as long as you make sure they're well constructed and on the better side of 80%. It is possible to steal staff talent, however you'll find the majority of them are very loyal to their employers and won't be interested in your proposal. What you have there is THQ's original shipment of the game, the one containing the killer bug. THQ frantically fixed it as quickly as they could so that the next major shipment of games from Japan would no longer contain it. I know how you feel, I had legions of Create-A-Wrestlers (including my Raven, which I was very proud of), hours of story mode done and countless other achievements that were whiped clean out of nowhere.
