I'm pretty sure that's a typo...Shane and Kazarian are teaming up. Even then, Keller made another mistake (Sabin pins Kazarian)!

Velocity: FBI defeated Bashams - Stamboli held Danny in a backbreaker while Nuzio came off the top with a legdrop. Charlie Haas def. Mark Jindrak - decent match, due to Haas. Won with a German bridge. Kidman/London beat Dudleys by DQ - Kidman hit D-Von with the shooting star, but Bubba pulled the ref out for the DQ. Afterwards they laid them out. Not a bad match. Smackdown: Angle gloated about doing the right thing at GAB and justice being served Show starts... Layfield came in to celebrate his title victory. Ring was laid out with red, white, and blue decorations on the ropes and the canvas was red. Name drops Ronald Reagan, saying it's "Morning in America" again and how he'll be a great champion to everyone. Says Angle allowed him to fight anyone who was at the Bash last night, except Eddie Guerrero. Booker vs. RVD vs. Dupree - winner will be the #1 contender for the U.S. Title. Pretty good spots, with the crowd popping for the Spinaroonie and RVD's first frog splash and Rolling Thunder. Heat was given for the Dupree Shuffle. Finish was RVD hitting his second splash on Dupree (Booker caught one first), but Booker pulled him out the ring and covered Dupree for the win. Kind of a lame finish. Bradshaw goes into the locker room, and says he picks "a Dudley". Of course, it turns out to be Spike. Cena, Rey, Dudleys (no Spike), and Booker were in the skit. Luther Raines talks with Charles Robinson and reviews the Sable/Tori match on a television...complains about some kind of controversy. Says if there is any problems with the rematch, there will be trouble. Tori beats Sable with a DDT. Terrible match, as you could have expected. Sable didn't wait 3 seconds to sell the DDT or anything. No controversy though. Afterwards, Angle comes on the Titan and says although there were no problems, he couldn't let Raines get away with last night, so he sends Raines to fight him in a match. Raines catches him and starts pounding him until Haas comes out for the save. The funny thing about this is that they did this spot twice. I guess whoever was booking didn't like the first one, so he made them do it over again just before the main event. Heyman comes out, and gloats about getting the Undertaker to finish off Bearer. Says he is due for a thank you by the Undertaker and he will get that "with interest". Pyro explodes and Undertaker comes up on the Titan and tells Heyman if he's willing to do that to Bearer, the only person he cared about, imagine what he's going to do to him. Heyman acts like a scared rabbit. Mysterio beats Mordecai - Disappointing, with Mysterio of course on defense most of the time. He did get in the 619, but the crowd didn't pop for it until right after he did it. Finish was Mordecai going for that Razor's Edge/crucifix bomb, but Rey was able to turn it into the hurricanrana for the win. Is that his first loss? The Dudleys talk to Spike. They accuse Spike of doing something to get the shot. They say they have his back, because they are family, and they "know" if he wins the title he's going to give one of them the first title shot. Spike says he'd rather do it on his own. Kenzo Suzuki comes out, yells some jibberish in Japanese with the crowd saying "what" after every pause, then Cena comes out. He clowns him and his valet for a while, then has production replay the promo bit by bit and attempts to translate. Mostly gutter humor, talking about constipation and how Kenzo likes going to gay nude beaches. Funny spot on the valet, translating one statement as Kenzo taking her to see "White Girls" (clowning her because of all the white makeup on her face). Crowd loved it, but I doubt if it goes over on tv that well. Main event...of course Bradshaw squashed Spike. Spike got in some offense, with the stomps in the corner and the Dudley Dog, which got a 2 count the crowd popped over, but Bradshaw gave him two short clotheslines (ala Jake Roberts) and a powerbomb. As soon as the bell rang, Eddie's music came up and he came to the ring. They fought, and Bradshaw bailed. Before he got back into his car, Eddie told him to hold on, and informed him that he had a clause in his contract when he won the WWE title saying he gets a rematch of a match of HIS choosing, and it will be a cage match in two weeks. Bradshaw ranting as the show ends. After the show, Eddie left and Bradshaw came back out, called Eddie a "stupid Hispanic punk" or something like that, and clowned the crowd for a while for trailer parks and confederate flags. Typical stuff. He challenged Eddie or anyone else to come from the back to face him so he'd kick his ass and the Undertaker came out with a loud pop. Once Taker got in the ring, Bradshaw played scared and tried to talk himself into fighting him, saying he was a Hardcore Champion and was a tough guy. Finally he tried to fake getting out the ring and tried to hit Taker, Taker blocked it, hit him a few times, chokeslam, and eventually the Tombstone. Taker then grabbed the title and laid it on Bradshaw and left. Bradshaw got up after Taker left, doing a little selling, clowned the fans again, and left. Crowd was alright. They popped for Cena, Mysterio, and Taker. After a little pop during the Sable/Torrie match, they went dead. And they really weren't that interested in Bradshaw/Spike...not that you can blame them. They loved the aftershow, so I suppose everyone went home happy, which is typical Vince.

Here's the coverage from the Torch for those who wanna know what is going on: TNA PPV REPORT JUNE 23, 2004 LIVE FROM NASHVILLE, TENN. -Jeremy Borash talked about a lot of people have worked hard for two years to make TNA what it is, and that stealing cable is cheating those people. -Mike Tenay and Don West introduced the show, hyping that it was the Two Year Annivesrary show. They showed Harley Race, Larry Zbyszko, Corsica Joe, and Mickey Doyle at ringside representing the rich history of the NWA. 1 -- AMERICA'S MOST WANTED vs. MIYAMOTO & NOSAWA - NWA World Tag Team Title match Tenay addressed the injury to Kid Kash, stating that A.J. Styles had issued an open challenge. After the first couple minutes in the ring, Nosawa and Miyamoto used some brawling at ringside to take control of the match. They beat on James Storm from 3:30 to 5:30, but Storm came backw ith a sitout powerbomb and a hot tag to Harrris. Harris powerslammed Nosawa, but Miyamoto broke up the pin atttempt. Storm followed up with a spear during a four-way brawl. Then they set up Nosawa with their double-team top rope legdrop Death Sentence for the clean win. WINNERS: AMW at 7:12 to retain the NWA Tag Team Titles. STAR RATING: *3/4 -- Well paced, high energy match with good execution. -As AMW celebrated, The Naturals attacked them on the rampway with a chair and bloodied them. -Scott Hudson interviewed Kid Kash, who complained about being pulled from the X Title match due to an injury. He said it proves the favoritism Styles gets from TNA. Hudson told him TNA officials are trying to protect him. Kash said he doesn't need protection from anybody. "What I want is my X Division Title back around my waist and I will do whaever it takes." Hudson said they don't know who the opponent will be for Styles. -A video aired with green tinting that said it was from the future, 2014 to be exact, with some old guy talking about the future, but I didn't get what the point of it was. Then they went into a video pushing Trinity vs. Desire. 2 -- DESIRE (w/Sonny Siaki) vs. TRINITY When Trinity missed a legdrop off the balcony, Desire stretchered her to the ambulance out back and was about to put her inside when Big Vito popped out and slammed the door in Desire's face, knocking her out. Then Desire was put on the stretcher and carted away. Trinity didn't seem thrilled that Vito interfered, but she walked off with him. It was tough to get a read on it. WINNER: Trinity at 9:46. STAR RATING: *3/4 -- A spirited brawl. -Hudson asked Russo about the DQ rule in the title match. Russo said if he uses his guitar, he will be DQ'd on the spot. He said that as if it was a big deal, as if "on the spot" meant something different than usual. He said he could put up with Jarrett hitting him, but what he did with Dusty was over the line. How magnanimous of him. When Hudson asked him about the X Title situation, Russo said his focus is on the NWA Title situation. Hudson asked him if he knew who the replacement for Kash was. Russo refused to comment. -Another segment aired with a green tint and an old man pictured with the letters on the screen saying, "See you in the future." I wonder if Sean Royal is returning! -A video package aired on the Jerry Lynn vs. Scott D'Amore feud. 3 -- JERRY LYNN vs. SCOTT D'AMORE D'Amore got into a verbal spat with some members of the Tennessee Titans at ringside as he made his way to the ring. Tenay talked about D'Amore's history as a wrestler and lately a trainer. When D'Amore took off his ring jacket, D'Amore posed as if he had a great physique. If you squinted, he looked like Jerry Lawler after Supersizing for a month. When threw a punch, D'Amore called for a DQ for using a closed fist. Tenay and West were outraged at his cowardace. By 3:00 D'Amore took control of the match briefly, using closed fists and eye pokes. D'Amore kept bailing out to ringside anytime Lynn gained control of the match. When DAmore fled to the back at 5:00, Lynn chased him down and yanked him back into the ring. By 8:00, much too long, West said he was surprised D'Amore lasted this long. D'Amore hit a top rope clothesline at 8:45 for a two count. At 12:00 Lynn began scoring near falls, but D'Amore kept kicking out. D'Amore then came back at 13:00 with a sleeper. At 13:30 D'Amore hit a top rope moonsault. Lynn kicked out. Tenay asked how Lynn managed to kick out. D'Amore then grabbed the Canadian flag/hockey stick. The ref tried to yank it away from D'Amore, so D'Amore took the ref down. Lynn then ducked and gave D'Amore a Russian leg sweep. He had him down for three, but the ref was still out. Lynn turned to check on the ref. D'Amore then broke the stick across his back and scored a very near fall. D'Amore set up his D'Moralizer finisher, but Lynn escaped and gave D'Amore his cradle piledriver for the win. WINNER: Lynn at 15:25. STAR RATING: ** -- The match was solid, but it's one of the most asinine things I've ever seen. I am about as flabbergasted as I've ever been watching TNA. What sense is there having Lynn, who actually has (or had) a semblance of in-ring credibility, nearly getting pinned by a chickensh-- heel manager who lack of physical conditioning is a running gag? Why, without a fireball or brass knuckles or interference from actual current in-shape wrestlers, was Lynn unable to beat D'Amore in two minutes? With all due respect to D'Amore, he had no business lasting longer than two minutes. Lynn's credibility is just shot from this. -After the match, Team Canada attacked Lynn. Primetime and Christopher Daniels made the save. They showed the legends at ringside, still sans Dusty Rhodes who was "conspicuous by his absense," applauded Team NWA clearing the ring of Team Canada. -Hudson called out a reluctant Glenn Gilberti and Johnny Swinger who were stuck wearing the same Samoan and Lucky Charms outfits per the match stips of losing to "Irish" Pat Kinney and Sonny Siaki last week. When Gilberti threatened to take off the silly outfit, Hudson reminded him he'd lose his job. David Young walked in and said he can offer some help.

Courtesy of Llakor and wrestlingclassics.com message board: HISTORY OF THE ASS-PUNCH Beef Wellington's top rope ass punch is the most over move in Quebec by a huge margin. He started using the move in January of 2003, when he was wrestling in the tag team Hi-5 with Kid Kamikaze. At the time they were IWS tag team champions, defending their titles against Los Latinos. Beef climbed to the top rope to puch Latino Mysterio (inspired apparently by a joke by Rob Schneider in Deuce Bigalow) Beef claims otherwise, but I am pretty sure that it was intended as a one-off joke to mock the Latinos. Beef ended up breaking his hand on Latino Mysterio's rock-hard ass. (The technical term for the injury was Trans Meta Carpal Fracture) Beef was disgusted at getting the dumbest wrestling injury ever. When Beef fought Latino Mysterio in the inevitable "You broke my hand with your ass Revenge match" the crowd went nuts demanding the ass punch... and it has been over ever since. ----- BTW, I forgot to mention that I've never popped for a move like I did when The Bear put Beef Wellington in a dreaded BEARHUG~! (that got the 3rd biggest pop of the night behind Sid and El Generico's title win)

They booked Sid the way he should be booked... He basically destroyed the opposition. In other words, he hit his three moves (all really well though, especially a boot to the face that looked nasty as hell) then it was over. It wasn't a short match but PCO did most of the work. Anyway, I loved the match but not the promo (of course).
