Look at the match list closer, algrim. Also, for those complain about no Eddy w/ Art Barr, look at the match list closer too! (i.e.: When World's Collide) Personally, I'm pissed Eddy vs. Brock from NWO isn't included since I ain't buying that DVD cause the show sucked until the ME (Rey vs. Chavo was good though but still...) Look closer, his match vs. Brock is on there. That's pretty damn funny! Anyway, here's what was put on wrestlingobserver.com: --store.wrestlingobserver.com is taking pre orders for the 2 disc Eddie Guerrero DVD, which will be released on 9/28. The DVD has the full UPN special (excellent, worth getting just for that) plus Eddie Guerrero & Art Barr vs. Santo & Pentagon (ha ha ha, it's Octagon and they've got it wrong in their own advertising) from the When World's Collide PPV, Guerrero vs. Dean Malenko from ECW, Guerrero vs. Chris Jericho from WCW Fall Brawl, Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio from Halloween Havoc (probably the best WCW match of the decade), Eddie vs. Chavo from Bash at the Beach, Eddie vs. RVD from Raw, Eddie & Chavo vs. Angle & Benoit vs. Mysterio & Edge from SummerSlam 2002 (actually I remember this match was a disappointment), Guerrero vs. Benoit from Vengeance and ending with Guerrero vs. Lesnar from No Way Out. While When Worlds Collide, the Lesnar match and the Mysterio match are musts for any Guerrero collection, I have to say I'm pretty disappointed with all of his great matches that this was what was picked.

Actually JHawk, being from Quebec myself, I can tell you that Grenier is actually singing the right words for the Canadian Anthem in French...he just sings it really incredibly badly.

It's a shame cause 2004 IWS has been pretty awesome. I haven't missed a show (except Icons but that's not exactly IWS) and I want to see em again on DVD but at this rate they'll be out in around 2 years. BTW, it was my first time seeing Tod ref last week @ Hardcore Heat. Good job, man! (My favorite part was when you put the 2nd chair back in position for the superplex (or was it a top-rope powerbomb?) in the Eddy vs. Crusher match and acted like you didn't do anything...the crowd got on you for that one)
-
Well, he did face a bear (read: guy in a bear suit) on that event but, unless you're an IWS fan and know the circumstances for that match, you wouldn't find it funny. Since they only have like 90 minutes, then yeah take out the match. I'm kinda pissed the deathmatch main event was not included...I'm sure Sid's 40-minute diatribe won't make it either!

This is tough... Marlon Brando (just because I seem to ALWAYS mention Brando when I name who I think are the best actors)

When was this? Rougeau's retirement show in 1997. He's one of the few people to ever get a clean pin on Hogan. It was not a retirement show...it was the first WCW event in Canada though. Jacques Rougeau had a retirement show with the WWE in October 94 where he defeated Pierre Carl Ouellette and stayed retired for 2 years (my first live wrestling event ever!)

I'm from Montreal so you can guess the stuff I've seen but here goes anyway: WWE: - Survivor Series 97 / The Montreal Screwjob - Both Hogan standing ovations (March and May 2002) - Owen Hart loses to Raymond Rougeau in a boxing match (Aug 96) - Brock Lesnar's debut WCW: - Hogan jobs to Rougeau clean Indys: - Sid Vicious' first match back since his horrific injury in 2001

If IWS is the biggest indy in Quebec, how come they're not the ones who have hosted recent guests Daniels, Styles, Jerry Lynn and Samoa Joe? (Although seeing Sid again was cool...for a while) It would've been nice for them to get a good-sized crowd. Quebec City is pretty far so it looks like I'll getting this show on DVD along with Revolution 1.0 (gotta see Steen vs. Daniels) <--- envies Tod cause apparently IWS "doesn't need any more referees, Sorry"
