I don't recall the Blazer coming down the rafters in Owen's late 80's run...the flips yes. He did come down the rafters a couple of times in 99 though. BTW, Owen was scheduled to be a double champion...sort of Blazer would be the IC Champ while Owen and Jarrett were gonna regain the titles from X-Pac and Kane. I guess it would've been a wink wink kinda thing. Anyway, the title changes went ahead as planned (Jarrett won the IC and the Acolytes won the tag titles...both the day after RAW is Owen)

Geez, I forgot how much of a prick Austin was in 99. At least the WWE was searching for new challengers in Jarrett and HHH...I mean nobody wanted to see Austin vs. Taker ppv main event part 217 (old Kevin Nash joke from Nitro) I hated him from 97 until his brilliant heel run in 2001...now no matter how dull his role is, I can look back at 2001 and remember why Austin is one of my all time faves (I hated him in 97 cause I was a mark and he was against my Hart Foundation and was ruining wrestling with his vulgar ways ...then came 98 with pimps and porn stars...Austin didn't seem so bad then)

I, personally, would've gone with Gunn. The guy was over and had a star look (yes...HAD). You're right, the WWE killed it with their half assed push. Don't blame Billy and his "wrestling ability" since it doesn't count for much in the world of sports entertainment. Gunn had the worst post-KOTR winner push up to that point

Unfortunately it has nothing to do with the way you see it...those five have contracts with TNA so they're out of ROH unless they can find loopholes.

I liked SIN a lot but to each his own - Chavo vs. Helms - Reno vs. Vito (around **1/2 imo) - Jung Dragons vs. Knoble / Karagias - Cat vs. Sanders (more entertaining than good...consider the participants...good crowd heat) - decent Team Canada vs. Filthy Animals (normal 6 man tag would've been better than the penalty box gimmick IMO) -a good hardcore match between Crowbar, Funk and MENG~! Other stuff: Palumbo and O'Haire win tag titles from Nash / DDP , Goldberg's shocking loss (that crowd was SILENT after the pinfall)

I just saw the one where they make fun of George Lucas and Homer & Marge get drunk...same quality it's been for the past couple of years...nowhere near as good as it was. Sorry netslob...geez, don't take it personally. If it does go through a revival like you say (in other words, quality increase) I will definitely start watching again. It has nothing to do about jumping on the bandwagon and I couldn't care less about ratings even though the ratings for Simpsons have always been good to this day. I'm still a Simpsons fan (my room is just Simpsons and wrestling memorabilia)...just not of the past 4-5 seasons. I've watched it on and off and, when I do catch it, I'm usually disappointed. My friends are divided on this subject too (50% stopped watching, 50% still do)

Victoria was my choice going in but her cover looked terrible so I went with Trish till she was eliminated then it was Gail. If a lot of people are surprised at the Gail love here, then u didn't see the pic, it WAS the best one hands down.
