Gowen was February also.

Both were early '04 (Jan/Feb).

I'm all for Gangrel, I've been waiting for the possibility of him coming back. I thought he could hold his own in the ring and he has the awesome music and entrance to boot. Viscera is a worthless fat slob, however. Right up there with Giant Gonzales, Nathan Jones, Tomko, etc. when it comes to blatant non-ability.

And the LOLLERCOASTER makes an appearance, after a bit more searching.

I read the CRAZY glue on the toilet seats bit, and my head exploded from the hilarity!1one It was all... And then it was all... Truly the greatest pranking ever. Frisco, I salute you.

Nova's name is Mike Bucci, though. Nova's got the chrisma, facials, and engery to make this work... I mean Nova did INVENT wrestling after all. Somebody please tell me the origin of that joke. I've been wondering it for the longest. The way I've heard it... don't take this as official... Someone used a move in a match, and Nova went on the record as saying that he invented it, the guy stole it from him, etc., etc. Whatever. This then hits the IWC, where a bunch of people (writers, message board posters) start making jokes about Nova inventing so-and-so, eventually turning into the overused running joke we have today.

Not that I'm all that knowledgeable about it, but there's the iTunes player, and the iTunes store. The jury is out as to which one she meant. The player is not unlike Winamp, Music Match or any of the other audio programs out there. Then there's the iTunes store, which works with that, but it's your choice about whether you want to utilize the store or not. Basically, if she was just referring to the player, it doesn't seem like that big of deal.

No, we get it. We just don't care that it's looked down upon, and I personally hate that you have to stop watching something at a certain age because traditional convention says so, with the exception of the obvious (saccharine educational junk intended purely for preschoolers). It's ridiculous that one segment of geekdom looks down on another, when one nerdy vice is just as bad as another and all are equally deserving of mocking. Not one is higher up on the chain than another, in my opinion.

Meh. This character will get old and won't have legs to stand on a month or more in, and that's being generous.
-
Not really. Saban tried duplicating the PR formula early on with BeetleBorgs, VR Troopers, etc., and it didn't work out. There was a long stretch between the early success of Power Rangers and the current wave of shows. The current wave you're seeing is due to Pokemon and Pokemon alone.

That would be awesome, yet so completely wrong at the same time. I just can't buy fucking Billy as a villain... somehow it's an even bigger stretch than Tommy as a scientist/paleontologist.

The secret is already out, but I'll throw it in spoilers just because... Manson v. Max King, Submission Only Steel Cage Match. Simply because it's the better cage, we agreed that it should be in the old iron bars style, not the steel mesh, if that matters. After searching, Mike called similar matches Caged Fury, and the rule description there is basically what we want to do here. Rules: Steel cage match with the following rules: No door is provided for exiting the cage. Competitors may leave the cage over the top, but may not win the match this way. No DQ or countout in effect, but competitors can only win the match by submission.

I'll get right on that.

The One and Only Angel Season 5 Thread
Golgo 13 replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in Brandon Truitt
Yes, she would've lied due to the same reason why any bad guys does. To throw the good guys off the trail and fuck with them, not to mention that Jasmine's ultimate plan and her illusion might've been shattered if she revealed she was a Senior Partner, not a benevolent and perfect PTB. The biggest problem I have with this theory is that Angel had to completely buy into her being a rogue PTB in order to sign on with W&H. Part of him signing, in addition to helping Connor, was the thought that he no longer had the PTB's confidence, so he had to take things into his own hands by taking the fight to W&H. Then again, perhaps this is why Jasmine lied, and was able to get away with it; another part of the ultimate plan which Angel stupidly bought into due to his state of mind at the time. Personally, however, I'm still split on the "was she a PTB or wasn't she" issue. There's good points for either side. -
South Park inspired me to post this question

The realization about Santa came about when I was 7 or 8. The presents from Santa were wrapped in similar paper and tags as all the others, so that's when it dawned on me. Around the same time I figured the Tooth Fairy and Easter Bunny weren't real either, but I kept playing along for years after because, hey, it meant free money, candy, etc. -
Not that I found it funny either, not like I did with Nash, but I assume injuries through arm wrestling happen because of, you know, long, strenuous contests -- of if not, because of freak accidents. A serious, stressful competition is far from what we saw on Monday.

Turbo/In Space was great for the hot chick quotient. There was the villain, as well, who became leather-clad Karone in Lost Galaxy. I was able to keep up with the current season early on, but lost track just before the evil ranger turned good.

I blame those Hottest Animation/Video Game Charactor (sic) threads in Movies/Video Games for driving away traffic.

It's from the two-part finale to the animated Superman series.

OAO SmackDown! Thread - September 2, 2004

Yes. The original straps thing came off Angle pulling on Eddie's hair. Since Kurt has none, Eddie started utilizing the straps on Angle's singlet for the advantage. Once Angle pulled his own straps down, Eddie went for the sunset flip and pulled the singlet down, shaking up Kurt. Once Kurt regained his composure, is when the match got heated, leading to the low blows by he and Eddie. Pulling down the singlet completely was excessive, but the rest of it worked. -
On second thought, I'm actually quite outraged over this whole affair.

If should be noted, if only for my own amusement, that Inc makes multiple appearances in the Kane thread. More of his filthy past comes to light...
